The newest survivor was quite a peculiar one, Luca balsa, the "prisoner" is someone most people avoided. Outside of certain people like Norton and Eli, everyone gave him the cold shoulder, only holding their tongues back because of his decoding perks.
I only avoided him because I thought he was cute.
Luca showed many signs that he experienced heavy trauma, his black eye, the bandages all around his body, the way he gets agitated around people who get anywhere near close to him, and if you looked close enough, he had small scars running along his face, probably under all of those clothes as well.
"Good day _______!" I turn around to see the prospector hoping towards me.
"Hello there Norton, what brings you here?" I ask as I turn around.
"We got a match in a bit, just coming to remind you since you probably already forgot, I'll see you in a bit alright?"the prospector gave a pat on my head and turned around immediately. That's right, I had a match, if my memory recalled correctly, I was with Norton, Jose and...Luca. Oh my god I'm gonna be playing with Luca I'm going to ruin the match, if we're lucky we can get a draw.
———
I sat in the lobby twiddling my fingers as the others start to roll in, Norton said beside me trying his best to calm me down. We heard that the hunter was Joseph, and we all know he was one of the worst to go up against.
"Hon, just take some deep breathes yeah? I promise I'll kite him as best as I can!" Norton gave me a cheeky smile, hand pressing against my shoulder to reassure me.
"Thank you Norton, Joseph just weirds me out, he's done a lot of weird stuff towards me before hand..." My body gave a cold shiver at the thoughts, I felt phantom hands drag across my body one too many times to just be a coincidence.
"Non non!!!" A hyper voice burst in jumping on the prospector. Stripped shirt started wrapping around the man as the prisoner attempted to shake him back and fourth.

"Hello dear Luca. Please sit down." Norton told him as he immediately follows, that was a thing between them. Norton was one of the few people he listened to, one of the few that bothered to get to know him before passing quick judgement. And that's what makes him such a good brother type figure. He gave a sigh as the inventor finally sat down, Luca pulled out his circuit box and started to twink it.
The black out started and immediately I stumbled as I got off the ground. It was moist and musty and what did you know it was lakeside. I hate it here, it's damp and dark and it's so hard to run around with the mud everywhere. I trip my way towards the back of the map, I found a cipher with the purple circle, oh he's here. I carefully make me way to make sure not to startle the inventor.
"Hello Luca!" I whisper quietly, the brunettes head perked up upon hearing me calling him out.
"Berry!" He called out, rushing over to jump attack me with a hug clinging onto me tightly.
"Come on, Joseph's gonna turn on his camera any moment." I whisper grabbing his hand, Luca gave us a halt and started to drag me the other way towards a locker.
"Let's hid in here! I saw the dancer and batter guy hide in one in a match before." I blush bright red, so that's why Margaretha was so giddley that day. Luca didn't give me any time and shoved me into the metal box, pushing himself in right after, with not long as we got in I heard the sound of the photo world opening.
"....you can let us out now Luca..." I said quietly, trying hard to control my breathing with him pressed up against my back.
"I cant, the door is jammed." Luca tried his best to shove it open but it wouldn't budge, my internal self started to panic. I'm in a small enclosed space with the guy I like, my heart beat was going up and I'm pretty sure he can hear it too.

"Luca? Is that you in there?" A voice called out from outside the locker, I peek out a little bit to see the tippy top of a candle.
"Non non! We're stuck in here!" Luca slammed his hand against the door of the locker. The panic began to rise as the locker felt even smaller.
"We? Who else did you shove in there?!" The prospector screamed as he started to bash the door trying to budge it open.
"I may have pushed _______ in here with me!"
".....Luca."
"Sorry."
"....."
I hear the photo world collapsing and the first thing I felt was the phantom touches around my body. The feeling of someone's larger hands sliding down my waist and butterfly kisses around my nape made me hurl inside. I cover my mouth as I lunge forward a little bit in disgust. Luca was quick to help hold me up as my body reacts. A quietly moan unexpectedly came out of my mouth as I felt the grope on my chest and bottom.
"....______...? Are you okay?" I hear Luca ask from behind me, I swallow my breathe as I give a small nod. Norton was able to bust the door down as my flustered face stared at him and the open air. I quickly push everyone away as I can finally breathe out without suffocating.
"He did it again didn't he?" Norton held a hand on my shoulder. I nod a bit as I see him clench his fist in anger.
"It's fine Norton, we should just get over with the match." I say as I go towards the nearest cipher Luca connected too.
꧁ꕥ꧂
The match ended again with a solo escape with me being the only escapee.
Norton and Luca tried to comfort me by trying to make me feel better but I knew why it happened again. I stumble my way back to my room to relieve myself because god I cannot handle this anymore. The heat inside was starting to drive me insane and I'm disgusted that Joseph was the reason for it.
"Ah! Berry!" I was at my front door to see Luca down the hallway waving and calling me over to his room. I sigh and cave in walking over to his door.
"Berry! Can you help with something? It's a 2 person job!" I nod as he lets me into his room. I was one of few allowed inside, papers with scribbled out words scattered everywhere, black markings covered the walls from his thought process, you can tell he was a broken man.
"Luca...are you okay..?" I ask as he sat down on the floor with a blue print in front of him.
"Of course I am!" I can hear the strain in his voice as he tried to keep his composure. I move to sit down beside him, gently holding onto his shoulder with my right hand.
"Luca, somethings on your mind. Do you want to tell me?" Silence filled the room as I see him tighten his grip on his pencil.
"I'm jealous!" He blurted out. After his burst he crawled away to hide in a ball. "I'm jealous...of you and Norton..." My face turned into a tomato as I let the words sink in.
"Luca it's not like that! I promise Norton is literally just a brother figure to me! I don't even like him like that!" Luca looked up from his ball to show his tears eyes. I gently hold his face wiping away the ones that did spill out. "I like you Balsa."
"I like you too." Luca uncurled himself to grab me and pull my body into his, we sat together on the floor as I let him indulge himself with cuddles and kisses.
"________, do you know how to waltz?" He asked after stopping the kisses for a brief moment.
"I never learned anything really of the upper class Luca..."
"Consider yourself lucky, I'll teach you." He pulled the both of us upwards grabbing my waist and hand, slowly spinning us around careful of the heaps of clutter he has laid on the ground.
"I love you my little berry."

I will go back and edit book one’s chapters after I get book two finished. If you all want to point out the errors in the earlier chapters I will gladly edit those things ASAP)
