On our way, making our way to the fire temple. Rescuing my brother, and getting that dang fucking blade.
I sung in my head starting off the the distance.
"Hey y/n." I hear a voice behind me.
"Oh. Hey dad." I say.
"Look, I'm sorry for the past, you know, leaving you to your mother and then she abandoned you and Lloyd to search for something." He started.
"It's okay dad. Everyone makes mistakes in their life. The only thing holding us back is not being able to move forward."
"You've gotten wiser since last time." He pulled my head into a headlock position and gave me nuggies.
"Hey! Let me go!" I yelled out playfully. Dad soon picked me up and pulled me into a tight hug.
"I really don't want to fight you." He said place his head on top of mine.
"None of us wants too. It's just how destiny placed out our paths."
"Get ready guys, we've arriving at the fire temple." Nya said over the PA.
~~~
I immediately jumped off the ship followed by everyone else.
"Be careful guys, one major power hit and the place is going down." Nya warned us.
"Guess no golden weapons or powers."
"Let's just get Lloyd and the fang blade out of there." I called out and walked silently along the walls.
"From here on out, we travel by shadows." Uncle said. We crawled along the rock walls and spotted Lloyd.
A loud clang ran through the room and Pythor pushed a hypnobrai to pull out the fang blade.
"AAATTACK!" He called out. I let go the one hand holding myself on the wall and backflip down onto a pillar in the pool of lava.
I kicked a snake in the face and punched another running towards me.
"Sis! Help!" Lloyd called out holding his hand out of the cages tight grip.
"Don't worry I'm coming!" I yell and jumped on another snakes head and ran on the stairs kicking most of them off to land in the lava screaming. Dad was running towards Lloyd slapping anyone in his way.
"Leave the boy!"
Scales took Lloyd's cage and placed it on a rock while the lava was slowly rising.
"Don't worry son!" Dad yelled and pulled out Lloyd. He immediately ran towards him and gave a tight hug.
"Y/n! Lets get going!" Jay yelled. I quickly pulled Lloyd onto my back and and ran off to meet up with the others at the entrance.
"Wait, wheres the fangblade?!?!" Kai yelled.
"Leave it! We'll all die if we stay any longer!" I yelled back. I saw him glance at something and ran off.
"Kai!" Everyone yelled in unison.
*crack, crack*
"Y/n! Dad!" Lloyd yelled out trying to grab our hands. I quickly dropped to my knees extending my hands towards him.
"Lloyd!"
"We have to go! We'll all die if we stay." Uncle said. I wouldn't listen, I thrashed around as Cole pulled me away.
"Let me go!" I cried out.
"Forgot it y/n, we can't save either of them." Pain was engraved in his voice.
I stopped my movements, my bangs covered my eyes, tears flowing slowly out of my eyes. I couldn't save either of them. Cole placed me onto his back and ran out of the temples hallways. By the time we were on the bounty I broke down again and leaned onto Coles chest. I felt his hand slowly pet me and placed his chin on my head.
"Don't worry y/n. Stop crying." He shushed me and pulled me closer. I cried into his chest even more after that.
"Hey what in the ninjago balls is that?" Jay yelled out pointing towards a red glowing ball. It directly landed beside me and out came Kai holding Lloyd. Tears brink my eyes as I pulled both of them into a life threatening hug.
"Don't ever, and I mean ever to that to me again." I said between my sniffles.
"Hey sister." Lloyd hugged my waist. I leaned down and kissed his forehead and pulled him into a hug again.
"Im just glad your alive." He hugged me back around my neck.
"Dad!" He lets go and runs towards dad.
I looked at Kai again to see him giving me that sweet smile.
"Thank you." I say and hugged his neck.
"Anything for you Phoenix." He lets go of me and passionately kisses me. He held onto my waist whilst I held onto his cheek.
"No need to interrupt love birds but how did you survive Kai?" Jay asked.
We pulled apart, but Kai still held onto my waist and wouldn't let go.
"Well, in the volcano, I was so desperate to get the fang blade. I knew I only had 2 choices. No matter how much I wished I was the green ninja, my job was to protect him instead of being him." I looked at Lloyd as he had a straight out confused face.
"That means..." uncle started. Everyone took their golden weapons and placed it around Lloyd to have them float slightly with a greenish glow.
"I always knew you were the one." I pulled him up from the floor to have him sitting in my arms.
"But that means..." dad started.
"It means our family has been more divided. First brother vs. Brother, and now its children vs. Father." Uncle stated.
I glanced at dad, Lloyd just had a shock face like everyone here is gonna die all of a sudden.
"Forgot it, its in the future, we can worry about it later. Right now we need to focus on the serpentine." I called out.
"Y/n's right, we need to focus on the serpentine."
~~~
About a week has passed, no sightings which is strange. I stayed on the bounty most of the time training Lloyd. At least he's getting better and better everyday.
"Ugh!" I people groaning from behind me.
"Have any luck?" I asked while Lloyd tried to kick me, sadly I blocked it without looking. I soon began talking about the serpentine problem while fighting Lloyd. I suddenly grabbed his wrist and held it there.
"That's enough for now, go take a break." I said and walked to the bridge.
"No sighting for the past few weeks. What in ninjago balls is going on?!" Jay complained.
"Snakes, snakes, snakes. What do snakes do?!" Nya asked us all of a sudden.
"Borrow?" I blurted out.
"Exactly! Bridge give me a scan of ninjago, but 20 feet underground." A 3D print of ninjago was in front of us and it showed a bunch of the serpentine tunnels connecting to create a huge fortress.
"There! That's the most guarded place!" Kai pointed to the centre.
"Lets go then, one blade is enough for me!"
~~~
"No y/n, your staying here with Lloyd." Uncle commanded me.
"What! Why?"
"You need to look after him, we do not know what Garmadon will do alone with him."
"Fineeeeeeeee." I dragged on the 'E'. "Come on Lloyd. Show me what you got."
A few hours went by and we're taking a break until I heard screaming coming from the bridge.
"What's going on in here?!" I asked.
"Dads stealing stuff!" Lloyd bursted out. I starred at dad.
"Get out."
"Y/n I-"
"I said get out!"
"If thats what you want."
"Hello? Lloyd? Garmadon? Anyone?" Nya panicked over the PA.
"Nya?" I replied.
"We've been caught! Come help us!" She cried out.
"Alright I'm on my way!" I turned around and saw Lloyd in the green ninja suit.
"Alright chosen one, lets go."
"Yes!"
I jumped off the bounty going to the mountain and walked slowly among the walls as we enter the fortress.
"Attack!!!" Pythor yelled out as Lloyd stumbled on the stairs from the large gi. I sighed and jumped down punching some snakes in the face.
"And the sister comes here again to save her weak brother." Pythor smirked.
"He's not weak!" I punched him directly in the face.
~~~
Stuff happened, my dad showed up again with the skeleton Amy, we got the 4 fang blades, going to torch fire mountain to burn these little fucker blades. Everyone was celebrating our victory in the bridge, while I was just waiting for Lloyd to show up.
"Hey Phoenix you okay?" Kai walked up to me and asked.
"I honestly don't know. I don't know where dad is going after this, Im waiting on Lloyd to show up, and I have this feeling that this isn't the end."
"Well only face forward, because we're all gonna be there by your side." He leaned down and gave me a quick kiss on the lips.
"Hehe, thanks."
