《My Arranged Shaadi (Complete)》Chapter-15 Confrontation

as
I had had enough of this rude bastard Paras Singhania! I did not want to disturb my best friend by going at her home as she also got married last month only, but I needed a place to crash.
I didn't switch my phone on. I knew her number by heart so I called her with the office phone.
"Hey bishhh ! Where are you??" Anvita asked.
"In my office..." I said.
"Hey hey? What happened? Are you alright?" See that's why she's my best friend. Because she always knows when something's wrong with me.
"Yeah, everything is wrong. Can I come over tonight?" I asked.
"You know... you don't need to ask. You can come over any time dude!" She said.
"Okk, then I'll come over at 7." I said while looking at the clock.
"Done!" She said and I hung up.
My head was paining like hell. I have started to think that I don't have any right to be happy. Because whenever I feel like I'm happy, God has other plans for me.
It was about 4 p.m. and I was working, when someone suddenly entered my cabin without even knocking at the door.
"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU!!!??? AND WHERE THE FUCK IS YOUR BLOODY PHONE!!!!" Paras shouted.
"First of all, kindly lower down your volume because it's not your home Paras Singania! It's my damn office!" I said trying to control my anger. He didn't have any right to be angry because I was the one who took his side and he was the one who talked to me way too rudely.
"Volume my foot! I called you a thousand times! On your phone, in your office! And you didn't even pick once." Yeah I had strictly ordered my secretary to clearly tell him that I didn't come to the office whenever he called.
"I can not live at a place where people don't respect me. I hadn't ask you to love me or consider me your wife, just a little bit of respect. I didn't get it so I left. And yeah, I informed you while leaving." I stated clearly.

"I wasn't in the right state of mind yesterday! You are my bloody responsibility! Don't you get it!" He said raising his voice a bit.
"Just tell me, when the hell are you in the right state of mind? And I don't think you realized your bloody RESPONSIBILITY last night." I said in a challenging manner. He was about to say something when my father entered my cabin.
"Oh Paras beta, what a pleasant surprise!" He said. Pleasant my foot! Paras greeted him back.
"Why don't you guys go home? I know couples have fights, you can sort things out." He said, yeah he didn't want his image to get spoiled. His image was more important to him than his daughter's life.
"There's nothing to sort. I'll really appreciate if you leave Mr. Singhania." I said.
"Nishtha! I've taught you better. Oh Paras beta please don't mind, she's like that since her childhood itself." My father said infuriating me more.
"Childhood yeah..." I gave a mocking chuckle and dad gave me a death glare, but nobody could stop me today. "You would have know how I was during my childhood days if you spent some time with me. You never did. And now all this??? Thank you so much for spoiling my life dad." I said, tears were threatening to spill out of my eyes, but I didn't want to cry, not in front of these heartless people at least. I immediately grabbed my purse and left the cabin.
I always thought my father was good as my mom was really bad. But now I realized that my father was never good, he was bad, but my mother was worse.
I wiped my tears and ran towards the parking lot. I couldn't wait to get out of this toxic place. I know I told Anvita that I would go at her place at 7. But I couldn't wait any longer so I went to her salon.
Yeah, she owned a salon. She was one of the most renowned make up artists of Mumbai. I forgot to mention, she's also an amazing hair stylist.

I straight away went inside where she was doing the haircut of a woman who looked like she was in her mid 40s.
"Nishuuu !!! I thought you were going to come at 7!" She said while her focus was still on that woman's hair.
"Yeah I'm really frustrated. I thought a platinum facial might help." I said while sitting on a chair near by. There's a big advantage of having a best friend who owns a salon, you don't need to take an appointment!
"Yeah sure why not ! Surekha ! Take this lady for platinum facial." She told her assistant and I went with her. The platinum facial was over in an hour and it was about 5:30 pm.
I was sitting on a chair again and Anvita was just done doing the threading of a girl. After she was done, she came and sat in front of me.
"So, tell me now. What happened?" She asked and I narrated the whole story to her.
"How dare you to stay at a hotel! How many times have I told you that the doors of my house are always open for you even when I'm not at home!" She said. Aww I love her so much.
"Anu, and how many times have I told you that you should focus on your married life right now!" I said. I really wanted her to be happy. Happiness wasn't in my fate but that didn't mean that others should also not be happy because of me.
"Yeah bu..." She was about to argue but I cut her off.
"No ifs and buts, I just wanted to share my feelings with you that's why I'm here." I said while holding her hands tightly while she gave me a sympathetic smile.
"So... what's the plan now?" She asked me and for the first time in my life, I didn't know what to do next. There were many firsts happening with me since I got married except the basic part.
"So virgin mojito is still a virgin mojito." She said and chuckled.
"Yeah." I said and we burst into a laughter. Maybe it wasn't a laughable thing. But we go totally crazy when we're together.
After that stress busting conversation, I left for the hotel. As I entered the reception to take my keys, I saw someone I didn't want to see the face of, at lest not today. Yeah it was Paras.
He started to walk towards me and I pretended as if I never saw him. But he came and caught my arm.
"Leave me!" I muttered in a low voice as I didn't want to give a show of my unhappy married life to the audience.
"I won't! You are coming home with me right now!" He replied.
"Home? Huh! I don't have a home, and neither do I have a family. Please leave me alone." I said. Yeah, I didn't have a family. I was stuck in the game of some dirty business politics. I had started to hate my job and my life!
"Look! If media comes to know, they'll create a mess." He said.
"Yeah right, all you care about is media!" I said. But yeah he was right. The thing I couldn't handle at all right now was papparazzi asking me questions like 'Are you getting divorced?' 'Did he cheat on you or did you cheat on me?'
Before I could give a reply, the security guard came there.
"Excuse me ma'am, is this man bothering you?" He asked.
"No... but thanks for asking." I answered politely because he was just doing his duty.
"It's okay ma'am." He said and went away.
"Okay, I'll go back to YOUR HOUSE. But you'll stay away from me." I said in an angry tone because hell yeah ! I was angry!
With this I went to grab my stuff. I had to pay some amount as I had cancelled my booking for the next week. I drove my car and he drove his.
None of us spoke a single word even after we reached HIS HOUSE. It wasn't my home, it could never be.
