The kiss was heated and passionate as Chris greedily pulled Livie tight against him. His mouth on hers, his tongue dipping into her mouth. He felt like he had been numb for over a year and now suddenly he was alive. Livie ran her fingers across his strong jaw and around to the back of his neck urging him to kiss her deeper.

Gasping for breath they pulled apart staring at each other. Despite the cold temperatures Livie felt as though her body were on fire and she desperately pulled the scarf at her neck to loosen it.

"I'm sorry." Livie immediately apologized taking a step back.

"No don't be." Chris reached out for her, "I'm not. I've wanted to kiss you since you walked up with Scott."

"You have?" Livie asked in disbelief.

Chris nodded, "I've missed you so much." He said softly.

"I've missed you too. I can't apologize enough for what happened between us."

"Shhh." Chris shook his head taking his index finger and pressing it to her lips, "That was the past. I've forgiven you, as I hope you have me. I want a fresh start."

"You want to try again?" Livie searched his eyes.

Chris nodded, "Well like I said a fresh start. There was a lot of hurt the first time. But I learned my lesson and I will do whatever it takes to keep you Livie Hart."

Livie grinned as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Fresh start or not I love you Chris."

"And I'm so crazy in love with you." He dipped her backwards earning a loud belly laugh.

They returned to the group with hot chocolate and huge smiles on both their faces.

"What's going on?" JJ hissed in Livie's ear her grin mirroring Livies own.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Livie replied her eyes twinkling.

"Ok, yeah sure." JJ just nodded with a roll of her eyes not buying it.

Chris's family decided to head back to their hotel, Chris offered to take Livie home.

JJ excused herself saying she had an errand to run leaving Chris and Livie all alone. They took an uber back to her place and Livie invited him inside.

He stepped into her apartment remembering the first time he had come to her place. It felt like a lifetime ago. So much had changed. Livie grinned at him offering him a drink. Except his feelings for her, they hadn't changed. After everything that had happened, he was sure he loved her even more today. He couldn't explain it and he was tired of trying. All he knew was that he wanted her in his life, and he would do whatever it took to make that happen.

"You ok?" Livie handed him a beer as she sat down next to him on the couch, "You've gone silent all of a sudden."

"I'm good. Actually, really, really good. When I woke up this morning I had no clue I would bump into you, let alone be here with you in your apartment tonight."

"I guess it was meant to be." Livie set her beer down on the coffee table and took Chris's from his hands setting it down next to hers. She slid one leg over his lap straddling him. Chris ran his hands up her back.

"We're going to make it work this time, right?" Chris asked, "Me and you, nothing getting between us."

"Me and you." Livie repeated.

"I'm not going to say it's going to be easy, especially with me in the public eye." He warned.

"I know. And I have a lot to learn, I'm still horrible at relationships."

"You are not." Chris scoffed with a laugh.

"I am! I'm a mess."

"You are not a mess. But we'll figure this out together."

"I love you so much."

Chris smiled at her words. "I'll never get tired of hearing that."

"Good. Because I don't plan to ever stop saying it."

"Good." Chris smiled pulling her mouth to his.
