It was a few days after they left the hospital. Yoongi was very skittish at the moment, and when he arrived home he stayed in bed for a good day. Namjoon checked up on him multiple times, but he always stayed the same, barely moving.

After that day had passed, he left his room for the first time. It was quiet that morning, but he didn't mind. He walked down the stairs, looking around for something to do, though there was nothing. And so he sat around for awhile, zoning out. Eventually, though, he heard his name being called.

“Yoongi?”

He rushed towards the voice, finding Namjoon there. He smiled towards him, engulfing the taller into a hug. Namjoon hummed, hugging the boy back.

“Good to see you awake.”

“What do you mean?”

Namjoon laughed a little, “never mind about that. Have you eaten breakfast yet?”

“No..”

“Then I'll have it prepared momentarily, but for now, follow me,” Namjoon said, taking the boys hand and leading him out into the backyard, which was filled with cherry blossom trees, flowers, and other things. Yoongi had never seen this part of the home, and so he was at awe, running around barefoot while Namjoon stood back.

It felt like had been restored fully. He turned around to Namjoon, smiling wide and happily. Namjoon smiled back, walking over and taking Yoongi's hand. He stared at him.

“Do you know how we declare our love for someone now?”

“Marriage? Did it change or something?”

“You're right. And, remember, you're mine, all mine. Yoongi,” Namjoon smiled, taking the box he had stowed in his pocket, opening it and taking out this ring.

“With this ring, Yoongi, I declare my love for you. You're my light, hope, and taught me how to be carefree sometimes,” Namjoon said, slipping on the ring. Yoongi stared at it with interest. It was, indeed, very expensive, but he knew he couldn't decline. Namjoon closed his hand, bending down a little and looking Yoongi in the eyes.

“My everything.” Namjoon closed the space between their lips, kissing him oh so tender and soft. Yoongi smiled, kissing back a little. The sound of a bird chirping filled their ears slowly, for time had slowed down for them.

After that kiss, Yoongi hugged Namjoon once again, pulling him into his embrace. Tightly, he hugged the taller. Namjoon hugged back, happy and relieved. He found his one and only, in such a weird way, yes, but the love was genuine. Who knew a statue could mean so much? He did not.

The fact how Yoongi grew on him, showering him with love, and at first he rejected it. Over time, though, he accepted it and caught the feelings himself. And now, he was declaring his love for his soulmate. He never felt so accomplished.

And so, everything felt normal. The legend slowly faded away, but that didn't happen for a good hundred years. But, it soon quickly reappeared. How though, you may ask?

Well I'll leave that up to you, dear reader. Your imagination is your story.
