I heard my alarm go off as I just turned it off and placed my covers over my head going back to sleep. I woke up around ten going to take a shower and do the rest of my hygiene routine along with my hair and makeup. Once I was finished I started getting dressed thinking about how everything played out last night. In the midst of getting dressed I just sat in the bed and sighed placing my face in my hands.

I finally finished getting ready grabbing my purse

Along with my keys and phone heading out there door but immediately stopped seeing a bouquet of Roses on the ground in front off my door. I looked down the hallway of the condo building not seeing anybody. I picked them up then brought the roses in the house. I looked for a card but I didn't see one, I then just sat it on the island and headed out to my job.

I parked my car and got out as I walked in being greeted by my receptionists. "Morning ladies" I said in a sweet tone My assistant Kevin came up to me smiling as I faintly smiled. "What's up?" I asked him "no what's up with you?" He questioned "what do you mean?" I asked in a giggle. "You're late and there's flowers on your desk" He said as I looked at him shocked. "Flowers?" I questioned "yes and not the cheap kind either" He said as I was confused.

We went in the elevator "the date must've been nice If you're coming in late and coming to work to see roses on your desk" Kevin stated as I just laughed "the shit was actually terrible." I admitted. "Wait what?" He asked "Yup Im actually filing a police report" I simply said making his mouth open. "What happened?" Kevin questioned shocked.

"I'll tell you when we get in the office" I said before we walked out the elevator and walked to the end of the hall where my office was. I opened one of the doors to the double door office then walked in seeing a box of Roses on my desk. "Kev Do you know who dropped these off?" I asked.

"Some deliver guy, do you want me to get the information so you can call?" He asked as I looked at the Roses and smiled. "Yes please?" I asked before sniffing the Roses and smiling. Kevin walked out as I called Sue.

"Hello?" She said "hey" I stated "hey" she said "So tell me why I woke up to Roses at my door and a box of Roses on my desk" I started off as she squealed as there was a knock on my office door. "I'm assuming the date went good" she stated as I laughed "him and that date Can go to hell, hold on " I started off. "Come in" I said nicely as the door opened and now it was an edible bouquet some were actual flowers but it mostly had chocolate covered strawberries, French macarons, chocolate covered apples and etc.

The delivery guy just sat it on my desk as I thanked him.

"Am I abled to know the person who had this delivered?" I asked the guy. "No he said keep it anonymous" the guy stated. "So it's a guy?" I questioned. "Is it?" The man asked before walking out and I just stood there. "Hello" I said to Sue.

"Yeah what happened?" She asked "whoever is sending me these things knows exactly what I like between flowers and food" I said hearing her giggle. "Can I call you back, Reed and I are about to run a diagnostic on this machine to get rid of our powers" She said "okay" I said smiling at the Roses and edible arrangements on my desk.

"Enjoy your flowers and chocolates" She teased as I smiled harder. "I will" I assured before we hung up. I took a picture of them sending them to my mother waiting on her crazy response.

it wasn't me and I'm damn sure it wasn't your father, I've haven't even had any type of flowers like that.

ma, Roses are simply Roses..

Mommy🦋:

in a box and that's definitely not regular edible arrangements whoever bought you that spent money

I can't even thank the person

because I have no clue who it is

Mommy🦋:

do you think it could be Johnny?

I read and immediately paused then looked at the flowers and the edible arrangements thinking.

Me:

No it's not Johnny. I've never even heard of him

ever giving flowers to any woman he's

been with yet alone edible arrangements😂.

That's not even like Johnny.

Mommy🦋:

Okay.

She simply texted back as I placed my phone down. And Kevin came back in with the information about the flowers as I called the store "yes hi, my name is Y/N Y/L/N and I received a box of Roses this morning I just wanted to know who was the one who purchased these flowers?" I asked as the lady giggled "they said they knew you'd call the store so to tell you it's anonymous" she informed.

"Can I at least get a hint?" I asked "No" She simply said before we said our goodbyes and I hung up. "Whoever it is must appreciate the hell out of you" Kevin said taking one of the strawberries out of the bouquet beginning to eat it.

"I think it's my dad honestly, my fashion show is coming up and he says every time I speak to him that he's proud of me" I explained. "So call him and thank him because these are good" Kevin said grabbing another one as I placed my phone to my ear calling my dad "That's your last one because I didn't even have one yet" I warned as he chuckled.

"Hello?" He said "Thank you for the Roses and the edible arrangements daddy!" I said excitedly as there was a silence. "What you talking about?" He asked as my smiled dropped. "Who gave you Roses and edible arrangements?!" He asked. "I don't know, I thought you did" I expressed. "No but I want to know what guy is buying you all of that" he said as I just sighed listening to him grumble and complain about guys and reminding me how they ain't Shit and that I should leave all guys alone.

"All you had to say was no" I simply said "Yeah but now I want to know what guy you dealing with and since when?" He asked as I just sighed. "Bye daddy" I simply said before hanging up. "You got me in trouble" I said to Kevin as he was picking another strawberry out of the edible arrangements and I popped his hands making him chuckle.

"You ever thought of this being Johnny's doing?" Kevin asked "I'm not even sure Johnny knows what an edible arrangement is" I said in a small giggle Looking at the gifts.
