Johnny was massaging my hand under cool water as it got quiet and I was hoping i didn't hurt his feelings but then I realized what feelings?! he's a whole player they don't have feelings about these type of things.
"Just a heads up your sister is placing all of you guys under quarantine" I brought up. "Okay" he said then looked at my hand. "Is it better?" Johnny questioned.
"Yeah Thank you" I thanked taking my hand out of his hand slowly. He just looked at me "do you ever wish you just did nursing?" He questioned looking around then back at me. "Yeah sometimes, I just want to be normal but then I also love what I do" I admitted as he faintly smiled.
"What are you doing for your Birthday, besides messing with these girls out here?" I asked curious as he chuckled "what if I was just going to go out to the club?" He asked "to pick up a girl" I simply added making him chuckle. "I'm not" He assured but of course I didn't believe him. "Besides I would be under quarantine anyway" He brought up.
"You and I both know you're not going to listen to that" I stated as he laughed. "Yeah You're probably right". He said making me giggle and shake my head. I placed some ointment on my finger. "I'm having a birthday get together you should come" he suggested. "No because knowing you there will be no Men just all women and I don't want to be in the mix of that" I declined. "Why not?" He questioned in a chuckle.
"Because every time I'm around the women you be having around you it's always an issue I could just be minding my business and they walk past me with a screwed up face" I explained as he chuckled. "Well what did you do to them?" He asked as I just looked at him "I'm not going Johnny" I said about to walk away but he grabbed my arm some "what about if it's just you and two other girls?" He asked "no because They're still going to make me feel uncomfortable" I said about to turn back but he grabbed my arm again standing in front off me.

"What about if it was just you then?" He asked looking down at me. "No because then we'll get drunk and you're like the last person I want to get drunk with" I said as he laughed "you're twenty two when are you going to start having some fun?!" He asked "sir I do have fun" I stated "doing what?" He teasingly asked crossing his arms. "I travel and I meet celebrities so fuck off" I stated making him laugh.
"You're boring, you actually used to be a player yourself What happened?" He questioned "I wasn't sleeping with them so I'm not considered a player I was entertaining them" I corrected. "So what happened?" He asked. "I ended up liking a guy but he was a player himself" I admitted. "Damn that sucks" he expressed as he let out a chuckle and I playfully rolled my eyes.
"I'll pick you up around ten" He offered "to go where?!" I asked "You're technically supposed to be under quarantine for your birthday and I don't want to be in the mix of why you're not in quarantine" I explained as he sucked His teeth and sighed. "Can I at least get a birthday kiss?!" He asked "No go find one of these other girls to do it" I said waving him off.
"Can I get a kiss now? I almost died" He brought up "Johnny no Besides You got a whole girl waiting on you outside." I informed grabbing the clip board. "I have no idea why she's even standing out there" He lied. "Really You don't know?" I asked as he shook his head and I let out a little laugh. "So you weren't out snow boarding with her?" I asked as he stood there "Yeah but we didn't do anything" he brought up. "Yet" I simply said continuing to go towards the door "Y/N" he called out. "Bye Johnny" I teasingly said before letting the girl in as she looked me up and down. I immediately walked out going to find Sue so I could give her the clipboard full of notes about Johnny.

"How'd it Go? You were examining him for a minute" Sue said with a small smirk while taking the clipboard from me. "It's Johnny He always gives me a hard time." I said waving the situation off. "If he wasn't Johnny I would definitely like you two to be together." She said as I shook my head. "But it is Johnny and that's not ever going to happen" I assured "awww I kind of wanted a sister" She whined as we shared a smile.
"I'm about to head out call me if you guys need anything" I said as we hugged each other "okay" Sue said "thank you
Y/N" reed thanked as I just smiled. "You two be good" I said with a smirk looking between them as Sue just smiled and shook her head as Reed was lost.
I grabbed my coat placing it on along with grabbing my purse. I zipped my coat up and walked down the hall.
"Y/N!" I heard Johnny yell behind me from down the hall. I turned around as he jogged towards me. "Let me walk you to your car" He said as I faintly smiled. "I got it" I assured "no let me walk you to your car" He insisted as I just gave in because he wasn't going to let up. He was the only guy I knew that was persistent as hell.
"Can I ask you a question?" I started off as we walked into the elevator and he looked at me. "How are you a player and persistent at the same time?" I asked "because I'm going to get what I want just like I get everything else that I want" He said as I shook my head. "Why don't you actually just try to settle down, have your eye on one woman and be persistent with that ONE woman?" I asked. "The key word is ONE" I added making him chuckle.
"Something you trying to say?" He asked with a raised brow "you keep it up you might get herpes" I said with a shrug as his mouth opened wide "just saying" I said looking away. "First off every girl that is with me or I talk too, I don't sleep with and I'm kind of hurt you actually think that" he said as I let out a small laugh shaking my head.
"And yes I would pay attention to one girl if she would simply just give me the time of day to talk to her" I stated. "So you settle for the Easy girls is what I'm hearing?" I asked. "Yeah But that's not what I necessarily want, they just pass time over" he said as the elevator opened and he walked out.
I walked out behind him "That's why I do what I do" he said as we walked to the garage area and he started my car from the remote. "I mean if she doesn't give you the time off day then just move on to the next woman" I suggested. "That's easier said than done" he stated before unlocking my car door and opening the door for me. "Thank you" I thanked him as he handed me my keys then placed his hands in his pockets "well like I told everyone else, if you need anything just call me" I started off as he just faintly smiled as I did the same before getting in the car and going home.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
