《Paint Me a Poetry》16: May

Today I hated May,

It let misfortune stay.

I even could not play,

With words to make my day.

I rarely was outside,

My freedom almost died.

My attention then divide,

If to sickness I'd abide.

Irritation was my companion,

With madness I had reunion.

Swollen was my body's mansion,

Itchiness inflamed like passion.

Yes, super-mega chickenpox,

Had me knotted in my own box.

I couldn't even be sly as a fox,

As to thwarth it with my life-hacks.

No, don't ever tell me,

To not be angry.

Coz May was really,

Terribly jerky.
