《Paint Me a Poetry》12: Hormones or Rationality

Hormone's pleasure seeker,

Rationality's being wiser.

The first one's always easier,

But the other one's better.

Hormones will give what you want,

It'll never say that thing you can't.

It's always, yes, go ahead with no rant,

Let no conscience to your pleasure hunt.

But rationality will say no,

Consequences you need to know.

Acting alone will make you throw,

Your dignity, and it will show.

Two things at once you need to choose,

Whichever of the two you want to lose,

Will you be wise or remain amuse?

Will you be sharp or with your lust have a truce?

Let one attribute dominate,

Otherwise you'll feel hate,

To yourself and to your mate,

So save yourself from that fate!
