So I realised that I haven't shown how Laysa looks like so here's the pic ↑↑↑

Luv yall

A week went past quickly and tomorrow I'm getting out of here.

The good news is I'm going to a New Jersey adoption Center. But Gee doesn't even know that I'm out for adoption. Well, why would he care anyway?

But I'm planning on telling him about my situation today.

But first group therapy.

It felt more triggering than usual, maybe it's because I'm nervous about telling Gee.

"Go get ready you are going out today." One of the staff's said to me.

Gee is gonna take me out again? Heck yeah!

I changed to my really missed skinny jeans and an MCR hoodie.

I ran to the waiting room to see Gee already filling the papers.

"Hey, kiddo! Ready to go out?"

"Heck yeah!" I said as a wide smile found its way to my face.

I saw my therapist standing in the corner of the room looking at us, but I didn't pay attention to it.

As we stepped out of the building I started to spin around looking up at the blue sky with a couple of white small clouds, my smile big and wide. Gee laughed slightly looking at what I was doing.

"What? I missed the sky!" I said giggling.

"Nothing, it just looks so cute." As he said that my stomach filled with warmth.

As we got to his car I was ready to welcome the strong smell of coffee mixed with a hint of air freshener.

I missed it, I really did.

"So tomorrow you are getting out right?" He asked.

"Yeah..."

"Where are you going then?"

"Well... I have to tell you something."

"Go ahead, you know you can tell me everything."

"My parents... Umm... They... Gave Me up for... Adoption, and I'm going to an adoption Center." I said with a shaky voice looking out the window.

"Wait... Really? Are you going to leave New Jersey?"

"No, I'm staying here." I said.

"So I can still visit you?"

"Yes." I said.

"Your parents are assholes, but I'm happy that you don't have to deal with them anymore." He said lowering his tone.

We drove a while until I asked

"Where are we going?"

"To my place for a sec I have to grab something and then I was wondering maybe movies, if that's okay with you?" He asked.

"Umm yeah!"

I get to see his house?!? My Idols house!

Even though I almost forgot that he was in my favorite band he is still my idol.

I can say that I'm used to him now and that's why I almost forgot that he was the lead singer of my favorite band.

Soon enough we were there. It was quite big, to be honest. It was white with a hint of grey here and there.

The grass was trimmed and no bear bottles were laying around which was quite new to me, to be honest.

We stepped out of the car and went to the front door. I looked at the front yard while he unlocked the door. It looked nice, plane but nice. I looked at his car parking at the driveway and around the perfectly trimmed grass. It looked nice together. You wouldn't think that an old rockstar lives here.

"You comin' or you just going to stare at the front yard." He said with a chuckle.

"Coming." I said as I turned around to face him. I followed him inside.

The first thing I saw was the glorious stairs that led to a spacious lofted second floor. I could see three-door upstairs, but there's probably more considering that the house is so big.

As I turned my head to the right I saw a kitchen that definitely didn't look like it belonged to a single man.

To the left was a living room with a big grey L-shaped couch and a loveseat. A fireplace with some cute colorful plants added this home feeling. As I looked at the wall on the side of the stairs I saw pictures of the band up on the wall but there weren't many of them. It brought a smile to my face.

But still reminded me that I'm at my idol's house.

It looked so beautiful and it was spacious.

It wasn't like big and empty and looking 'cold' it actually looked and felt homey and welcoming.

I liked being there.

It made me think If I would ever have a home like this.

Soon he came down from upstairs.

She looked at the house in awe as I came down the stairs.

I can't believe that she is up for adoption. My Laysa.

She means so much to me. I care about her a lot.

We went out and I locked the door.

As we were walking to my car I noticed her glancing over at the house a few times.

After driving like 20 minutes we were finally at the cinema.

I let her pick the movie because it was her time overall.

As we were watching the movie she snuggled to my shoulder which made a warm feeling burst inside me. It was weird because she usually didn't want that much physical connection.

I wish that moment would last longer, but the movie ended soon after.

We got out and started walking towards my car.

"Where do you want to go next?" I asked.

"I don't know." She said looking at me.

"What about going back to my place and ordering a pizza? We can draw as well." I said hopefully.

"Yeah, that would be so much fun!" She squealed.

I giggled at how happy she sounded. Her being happy makes me happy.

As we arrived at my place we ordered pizza.

As we were waiting for it I gave her a house tour, which she seemed to be amazed about.

I heard a doorbell ring.

"I think the pizza is here." I said walking toward the front door.

I took the pizza and paid.

Laysa had already made herself comfortable on the couch.

We decide to watch a cartoon. Well, she decided. But I'm okay with that.

We finished our pizza right before we heard a doorbell ring again.

"You waiting for someone?" She asked scared look on her face.

"No." I said as I stood up to go see who it was.

I opened the door to see Frank.

"Hey Gee, you didn't answer your phone so I came without a warning sorry. You weren't doing anything important-." He said while stepping in but stopped mid-sentence when he saw Laysa sitting on the couch.

"Who is she?" He asked confused.

"Laysa, my friend." I said.

We didn't have a choice but to tell him the story.

"Oh, so you are the one he always rushes to?" Frank said with a chuckle.

Laysa blushed slightly, which was super cute in my mind.

After that Frank joined us for the cartoons. It was so fun but we told him not to tell others about her yet.

So I was sitting on the couch with my two idols watching Spongebob. What?!? Crazy, right? If you would have told me that a year ago I would have laughed to your face.

Frank was so fun, he and Gee got into a small argument about something that happened in SPONGEBOB. I would never have imagined them fighting over Spongebob.

It was kinda funny listening to them fight over a children's cartoon.

"No, you just don't get it." Frank said rolling his eyes.

"What? I don't get it? You're the one who doesn't get it!" Gee answered.

I just burst out laughing. They immediately turned to me and looked back at each other while bursting into laughter as well.

I think I never laughed that hard. I literally cry-laughed.

I felt so happy and free. Like nothing bad had ever existed.

We continued to watch TV for another half an hour. But then it was time for me to go back to the ward. I didn't want to go. I felt at peace here. Almost like at home.

But we have to go.

I was putting on my shoes while Gee sent Frank away.

We sat in the car and opened the windows.

"Can we listen to MCR? If it's not weird" I asked shyly.

"Of course we can." He said turning on 'I'm not okay'

We both sang along, it was so cool to be singing with one of my idols. But I felt like he was more than just my idol, he was my best friend.

As we arrived at the ward I had to ask him

"So you're going to visit me in the Center?"

"Yes, I promise." He said hugging me tightly.

"You mean so much to me." I whispered to his chest.

"You mean much to me as well, I really care about you."

As she let go of the long hug that probably lasted for many minutes she looked at me with a soft beautiful smile.

As I got home I called Frank.

"Hey man."

"Hey"

"What's going on?"

"She just means so much to me, you know."

"Well, you guys were cute."

"I can't go visit her tomorrow sadly."

"Why?"

"She kinda has to move."

"Oh... Okay, but you can still see her right?"

"Yeah, I can"

"I had so much fun today! We should hang out like this more often."

"Well she seemed so happy so I guess we should."

"You're acting like a dad Gee."

"What? No."

Our conversation went on for half an hour before he had to go.

I went and took a shower.

Frankie's word didn't leave my mind

'You're acting like a dad Gee'.

I then realized that I care about her so much that I can give off dad vibes.

She means so much to me. She feels like a family? Yes, she definitely feels like a family. Like- like my daughter.
