Lloyd walked over to Scales. "I thought you were in hiding or something?" Lloyd questioned.
"I thought you were homelessss."
"Touché."
"Lloyd..." Kai spoke quietly "How do you-"
"I accidentally freed them a few months ago, he tried to kill me, but then I threw a can at him and ran away."
Kai blinked "I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately but, YOU DID WHAT?!"
"How'd you get on the Bounty? We haven't landed in months." Lloyd asked Scales, ignoring Kai.
"Grappling hook." Scales grumbled as he opened the fridge and rummaged through. "By the way, that father of yoursss iss trying to recruit the Sssserpentine to help him find you."
"So we're just gonna be okay with a serpentine in our kitchen stealing our food?" Kai pointed out "Not to mention he tried to kill Lloyd."
"Not here to kill him." Scales mumbled.
"Why are you here then?" Kai asked, slowly pulling Lloyd out of the kitchen.
"I'm not the only one." Several more serpentine popped out of random places in the kitchen. Jay was still screaming. "We are simply here to avoid Garmadon. He hasn't ssssseemed to find you for the monthsssss you've been flying nonssssstop..... Can ssssomeone pleasssse ssshut up your blue friend?"
"Hey, Jay." Lloyd began "Calm down please."
Jay stopped screaming. "Frickin' snakes."
"Okay, All serpentine on the Bounty, please leave as soon as we land." Nya said over the speakers of the ship, Lloyd assumed that she's snuck away to the controls while they were talking to Scales. "We are a half day's walk away from a town, and there's a pond a few yards from where I've just landed, please exit the Bounty."

"She sounds like a tour guide." Lloyd joked as the serpentine left. "I'm surprised no one almost got killed..."
"Why?" Kai questioned
"Every time the Bounty has landed since I got here, people almost died."
"Oh, you're right..."

"Where's my gui?" Kai asked as he stepped into the kitchen in jeans and a tank top, "Can't find it." Lloyd shrugged as he dumped a few cups of grape juice into Cole's cake batter. "Whatcha doing little guy?"
"Prank."
"Thanks for your help Cole!" Jay called as Lloyd and Kai heard Cole walking back towards the kitchen.
"I wasn't here!" Lloyd exclaimed quietly as he ran and hid in a cabinet under the sink. "You may want to run so he doesn't think it was you."
Kai stepped out of the kitchen just before Cole came in through another door. "Ah yes, Time to put my cake into the oven." He looked at the batter, "Weird, I could've sworn I stirred this already..." He picked up a whisk and stirred the batter "Into the oven!"
"Has anyone seen my mascara?" Nya asked as she stepped into the kitchen. "I can't find it anywhere."
"I think Jay borrowed it." Cole answered as he put the batter into a cake pan. "Said something about wanting to see what it does."
"It's make up."
"Tell him that."
"Hey guys my gui disappeared." Kai spoke as he walked back in.
"I think I saw it in the wash..." Nya blinked "With Zane's gui...."
"Oof, he better hope his gui doesn't turn pink."
"MY GUI IS PINK!" Zane's voice was heard from across the Bounty.
"Never mind."
Jay walked into the kitchen. "Hey Cole did you happen to use my wrench when you were helping me?"

"Nope." Cole answered as he looked impatiently at the timer he's set when he put the cake in the oven. "I just held stuff up and used a hammer."
"Weird, my wrench is gone."
After a while Wu also came into he
kitchen. "Has anyone seen Lloyd? He's not in his room."
"No Sensei, maybe he's hiding somewhere and eating candy or something?" Jay spoke, not noticing Lloyd crawling out from under the sink and out of the kitchen.
Kai held back a laugh. "I think I saw him heading to the bathroom earlier." Kai stepped in "I'm sure he's fine."
Lloyd walked back into the kitchen "Hey." He smiled as he went to the fridge and pulled out the orange juice and a cup.
"See he's fine."
"What're you two up to?" Nya questioned. "You usually panic about him being missing for more then five seconds."
"Am I not allowed to trust that Lloyd's okay?"
Cole pulled the cake out of the oven. "Time for cake!" He grinned.
"Doesn't it need to cool down?" Lloyd questioned as Cole cut a slice of cake and put it on a plate.
"Probably." Cole spoke as he took a bite, only to immediately spit it out. "Why, is it so soggy????? And..." he paused "Grape juicy?"
Lloyd shrugged as Zane walked in holding his now pink gui. "Who did it?" He asked. "Who put colors in with whites?"

A Merchants Tale
Legends rise. Country’s fall. Empires wage war. But what supports these great powers, allowing them to function as a single organism. Is it the common man, Farmers and Millers forming the backbone of the land? The Soldiers and Guards keeping public order? The Wives and Widows supporting from the side-lines? The Nobles from their seats of power? Or the elusive Sorcerers who wield power untold? And what maggots crawl in this great creature, all trying to get a piece of its slowly decaying flesh. The gangs of the Underworld hidden in the shadows? The Bandits and Deserters hiding at the edges, ready to pounce on any weakness? Witches and Warlocks working their dark art? Or other Nations clawing at their neighbour’s, salivating over the riches they stand to gain from another’s demise. There is one group that belongs to neither group. They thrive on others misfortune and bring with them salvation and destruction in equal measure. They can raise a kingdom up or tear it down screaming and kicking. These are the merchants, the lifeblood of kingdoms, because what is the one thing above all else men crave. Is it Love? Power? Destruction? All these things can be acquired with one simple thing. Wealth. Wealth is the true power behind the world. Wealth can buy army’s, strangle kingdoms, and turn even the most devout man from his faith. Merchants come in many forms, shapes and sized, some gaudy, bleeding the people for all their worth, some tricky, preferring to make contracts and debts to trap men. And some desperate, doing all they can to sell even the most worthless of junk. This is a story of one merchant who goes against all a merchant stands for. He works not for profit but for some unseen goal, a prophesy aeons old. He comes and goes like a ghost, bringing with him hope and victory. All pray for his arrival to spare them from despair. But what about when he doesn’t show? What about the people he doesn’t save? For this man is no angel, no saint sent to save the masses. His goal was never to deliver hope. It merely isn’t time for their destruction yet. For nothing is eternal. And all things must end. But what comes after? Quick disclaimer in response to the review I got, this is my first story and somewhat of an experiment for me, hopefully my writing will get better the more I practice. Thanks for any helpful advice :)
