《Ghost Friend | Ninjago × Reader ✔️》Chapter 9

I opened my eyes to meet the blue sky, no ceiling was above me. I stood up of the hard ground. I was in the old monastery.
But how? We haven't repaired it yet, and how did I get here in the first place?
I walked around looking at everything, remembering how much I've missed this place when I heard a door open and two kids arguing while running towards me.
I almost fell, they were too close.
"Give me my backpack, Morro!"
"Not until you tell me where you hid my sword!"
Then I realized, those kids are no other than me and Morro when we were eleven or twelve years old or something. I remember what happened here, this is one of my memories... Am I dreaming? Yeah, I must be, the last thing I remember is me going to sleep.
Little me and Morro kept running around while Morro had my old f/c backpack.
"Morro! Give it back or I'll tell sensei!" little me threatened while stopping to catch her breaths.
The door that leads to the inside opened again revealing sensei Wu, he hasn't changed much to be honest.
"Enough!" one yell from sensei made the two kids stop arguing and look at sensei.
Sensei walked to them "what's going on here?"
Little me spoke "Morro took my backpack and refuses to return it!"
Sensei looked at Morro who opened his mouth to speak, defending himself, he said "she hid my sword! And called me weak!"
Little me faced him with anger "you ARE weak! Your ego doesn't make you any stronger!"
"You're jealous of me because I'm going to be the green ninja!"
"Who said it would be you?! Sensei said that it would be one of us but he doesn't know who!"

"You think a girl like you will become the green ninja? Someone weak and stupid like you doesn't even deserve to be a ninja!"
That made the little me open her eyes wide and stare at him in shock then got closer to him with rage on her face.
"You want to fight?!" she asked.
"Yes, I want to fight!"
"Okay, let's fight then!"
"Stop it! Both of you!" Sensei yelled at the two who were about to punch each other.
They stopped and looked at sensei then each one of them looked away. Little me crossed her arms, I walked closer to her remembering how I felt about this years ago.
Sensei looked at Morro "give me the backpack."
Morro gave him the backpack while looking down, sensei looked at the little me "where did you hide his sword?"
"In the kitchen under the table..." she answered still looking away.
Sensei spoke after giving her the backpack "you are supposed to be friends, a team, not enemies."
The younger me said still not facing anyone "tell that to him, he became an arrogant idiot since you told us about the green ninja prophecy."
She walked inside without saying anything after that, I knew she was about to cry, I remember myself going to my room that I share with the other girl pupils and start crying.
Sensei looked at Morro who was angry because he got called an arrogant idiot.
Everything became blurry all of the sudden then went back to normal except that sensei and Morro weren't there anymore.
I walked in, looking for anyone. I didn't know what time was this until I saw little Morro knock on the girls' bedroom door with his head down while carrying a decorated gift box.

One of the girls opened the door, Morro asked "can I see Y/n?"
The girl looked annoyed "don't you have anything to say to me?"
He hesitated then apologized "I'm sorry for yelling at you at the training today..."
The girl rolled her eyes, that wasn't the first time he yells at the others at the training, and it was also not the first time he apologizes then yells at them again the next day.
"Wait here," she said and closed the door.
I walked closer and placed my hand on the wall but it passed through. I put my other hand and it also passed through the wall, I walked through the wall to see the inside of the big room.
The girl who I forgot her name went to younger Y/n "Morro is waiting at the door, he wants to talk to you."
Y/n covered her head with the blanket "tell him to go to hell!"
"Seriously?"
"I don't care! I don't want to see his face!" Y/n sat up on the bed and put the blanket aside "why should I forgive him when I know that he will never change?!"
I walked away, my younger self's yelling is probably heard from outside, I went outside and saw Morro with his head down and a frown on his face, he must have heard me.
He placed the box on the ground in front of the door quietly and left. I never knew that he got sad about that, I thought he just got tired of waiting.
Little Y/n opened the door and saw the box. She bent down and picked it up reading what's written on the card attached to it.
"Damn you Morro!" yeah... I had a bad language since I was little.
She ran outside looking around, it was the afternoon. Morro had packed his stuff and was about to leave when little Y/n called for him.
"Morro come back! Where are you going?!" she ran towards him after putting the box on the ground.
He turned to look at her "I'm leaving the monastery."
"I know, but where to?" she asked concerned while standing in front of him.
"I don't know, but I can't stay here any longer, I need to prove to everyone that I'm the one who should be the green ninja."
"Don't be ridiculous, you can't survive out there all alone," she said.
Morro said "then come with me! We make a good team and you know that."
He was hoping I'd leave with him, but the little Y/n looked back at the monastery and said "I can't, this is my home, and it's also yours, you can't just leave like that."
"I can and I will, goodbye Y/n," and with that, he opened the door and left.
That was the last time I saw him before he got turned to a ghost.
Everything became blurry again, and I started hearing someone, Nya's voice to be exact.
I was waking up.
"Y/n wake up! It's an emergency!"
I opened my eyes and sat up, "what is it?"
"Ronin stole the sword of sanctuary and the Allied Armour!"

Word Count : 1128.
The ending is so dramatic in my opinion.
Also, the drawing above is how I imagine little Morro.
Thanks for reading, Bye! 👋

The Mystifying Diviner
Content warning, there is cursing in the story and there will be some pretty heavy sexual innuendos in it also. I don’t really plan to write gore, but there will be fight scenes. Fair warning to readers, it is a slow start. But hopefully it is enjoyable for you to read. Follow the story of an old chef who was lucky to be selected to become a system host. Well maybe not so lucky, because gaining the system killed him. He will be given a system that might not be the best match for him. While also having to deal with a snarky system monitor who might not be that helpful most of the time. He will also use his new found powers to enjoy life in a new younger body. What you can expect from this story is bad writing, poor grammar, and slow pacing maybe. Food, cooking, comedy, slice of life, fighting, exploring, tournaments, scamming and probably face slapping. I mean who doesn’t like a good face slapping? This is my take on a cultivation story, a lot of Eastern stuff will be crammed into with a mix of Western. This story started as a goal for myself to write 60,000 words in a month for NaNoWriMo. I was able to do it even with taking days off and not writing. I plan to keep writing the story, but at a slightly slower pace. I am aiming for 2-3 chapters a week now with about 4-7k words written. This is only posted on RoyalRoad currently, and I have no plans to change that for now. Art of Mortality
New Synopsis after chapter 56: Long long ago, there was a mortal who despised the gods and envied the immortals. Why do the mortals have to die when the gods wish them to? Why do worlds have to perish when the gods say so? Why do only immortals get to live forever, why not mortals like him? As his family, friends, and his loved one died, he lamented. He wailed, he cried. He cursed the immortals, blasphemed the gods, spat at the heavens. But he was just a mere mortal. His curses were pointless, his blasphemous words were useless, and his spits only returned back to fall on his face. At last, he thought, enough was enough, he would definitely do something about it. He decided that it was time for the multiverse to know what a mortal can do. He was the first mortal to cultivate. Eventually, after a long struggle, he killed the Immortals, enslaved the Gods, and shattered the heavens. He reshaped the multiverse and rewrote his fate. In the end, he reincarnated as he decided upon a grand scheme, a scheme to rule 'All and Always'. He came up with the concept of what is known today as 'Paragon'. And with this, all of reality, 'All and Always', was finally reforming, according to a Mortal's Wish. Synopsis (Old): In the vast and complex multiverse, what can a mortal accomplish? In the grand scheme of things, what can a mortal change? In truth, what is a mortal, and what is mortality? Being mortal is being ordinary, the same as being trash, or so says The World. "No, mortality is an art, and a true mortal is a grand artist. Being the root of all, a mortal can become anything.", says a young mortal boy. Meet Edward Alexander, a mortal boy walking the path against gods and immortals, fighting to the end to rewrite his destiny, and change the grand scheme of things. Can he really change the grand scheme of things? Or maybe he himself is the Grand Schemer? To know the answer, follow Edward Alexnder on his journey to demonstrate the Art of Mortality.*******

Saga of the Storm Wizard
Rose Cooper had always been told she has a lot of potential as a wizard cadet. Too much, in fact; her weather magic frequently ran wild when her emotions got the better of her. That was why the mission to uncover a lost magical artifact in the Spratly Islands was perfect for her. They were no man's land, abandoned by both the demonic Grim Horde and the human Anti-Demonic League. All Rose would have to do to do was keep the weather under control. All of that talk of the Spratly Curse was just superstition and nonsense spread by bored sailors. If only. Evil wore many masks, as Rose was about to discover. Warning: This story contains elements that some readers may find disturbing, and minor language. Think of it as a PG-13 rating. This series is a spinoff of the Confessions of the Magpie Wizard series. As such, it contains spoilers for the main series. I have attempted to write it so that you could start here without reading the original story.
