i fell in love with you. at least i think i did. there used to be no doubt in my mind that my feelings for you were true.
you used to make me smile every time you called me on the phone and you used to be the reason i looked forward to each day.
my love for you was beyond galaxies and i saw the rest of my forever in your eyes.
i thought i knew you.
but these days, i find it impossible to get even an ounce of love out of you. you stare right through me as though i've never meant a damn thing and suddenly i'm not what you want.
so now i lay awake at night asking myself the same tiring question. "am i in love with you, or am i in love with a version of you that no longer exists?"
