I'm guilty of making you all wait this long just for an update. Sorry for the sudden hiatus. My university work has not been so kind to me these last few months. I only have time to update a few stories.
But I have been reading all of your comments. Few of you already talking about Camilla's characteristics and a few chapters are very confusing regarding some facts.
But none of you asked about Camilla's past.
You see as an Archon, Camilla also has a very sad past. A little spoiler it involved Celestia. Here, I give you a clue and tell me about your opinion.
Leave your opinion down in the comment. What do you think happen to Camilla?
Oh! And I decide to put some little facts at the end of the chapters so make sure you read them. Now into the story~
---------------------------------------------------------
They arrive in Inazuma at noon. A young man with blonde hair seems to wait for their arrival. As soon as they step foot on the land, the young man starts to approach them with a friendly smile.
"So you finally made it. You sure keep me waiting, captain. And it appears you also bring an honored guest." Said the mysterious young man.
"You can blame your precious Archon. The storm around Inazuma is getting fierce lately but thankfully, the Crux is built for that. Now then let me introduce everyone. This is Thoma, a trade partner I meet recently. Thoma, this is that famous traveler, Lumine, and her little fairy, Paimon. While the other 2 are..." Beidou looked at Camilla that still covering her face.
"Nice to meet you, Thoma. My name is Milla, a traveler from Naferanam City and this is my partner, Lei." Thoma's eyes widen a little.
"Not to offend you or anything but Naferanam city? The city that disappeared and closed its border this past few years?"
"Yep. That city."
"Oh wow. I didn't think I would meet with so many honored guests in one day." Thoma laughs cheerfully.
"Now, I will leave the rest to you. If you all run into any problems here just talk to Thoma. But if he tries to pull any moves on you, I will be sure to deal with him personally the next time we meet. Then if it is all settled. I will be going. I wouldn't want to be caught with my sails down here, I do have a wanted fugitive on board after all." And with that word, Beidou turns back to her ship. They watch the ship for a while before Thoma starts to gather the group's attention.

"Now then. First thing first, we need to go get you registered at the border checkpoint."
"Um, Paimon thought we suppose to be keeping things on the down-low. Are we just gonna walk into the government's hands?"
"Wow. I'm surprised you can still think like that, Paimon." Camilla tease. Paimon just glared at her.
"Haha, Don't underestimate the reaches of the Sakoku Decree. You wouldn't able to avoid inspection even if you tried. So we have to play by the rules... even if we kind of bend them." Thoma starts to lead the group to one stand.
"Hello, please state your name, identity, and the purpose of your visit. Oh except you, Thoma. You must be... new here." Lumine and Paimon just stare at the lady confused. The lady then rolls her eyes.
"Excuse me? Please provide the information requested. And also declare any goods you are carrying with you."
"We here to trade... wine and ore." Said Lumine. Camilla just stare at her while trying to hold her laugh.
"Currently, the only member of the International Trade Associations are authorized to engage in the import and export of goods. Do you have your trade permits?" With that kind of word, Lumine and Paimon are at a loss for words. Thoma just stares at the situation while calmly presenting 2 of the entry papers.
"Here are their entry papers, for your kind perusal."
"What?! Ugh, take your time! No rush or anything!" Protest Paimon but Thoma just chuckle.
"Haha. I just want to see what you gonna say."
"Noted. Your entry has been permitted. But the other two are still not giving their entry yet and for the lady. Please remove your veil for face identification." Lumine and Paimon then look at Camilla and Leif in panic. They know about Camilla's eyes and that would be quite a problem here in Inazuma.
Camilla just smiled and remove the veil that covering her face. Showing her unique glowing gold eyes. The inspector got stunned even though Thoma stopped moving.
"Pshh! Lumine. Aren't Camilla's eyes red? Why does it change color now?"
"Maybe she using her skill?" said Lumine unsure.
Leif then showed the identity card and the entry papers. The inspector takes it and reads the content for a while and nods. "Your entry has been permitted. Enjoy your stay here and please refrain from making trouble."

"Thank you, young lady." Camilla smiled with Leif before walking towards the Ritou City.
"Uh... Paimon didn't want to pry or anything but what did you both write in your entry paper?" Paimon asks while flying towards them.
"Oh? Curious now? It's nothing illegal trust me. I already know we will face this kind of situation so I ask Lei to prepare in advance."
"Hmph! You know yet you didn't tell us?!"
"A good traveler is always prepared. I am even more surprised you can get inside Liyue without an identification card. Not that I blame them or anything." Camilla shrug. Thoma told them that they need to go process their application at the Outlander Affairs Agency but then Camilla and Lei start to walk outside the Ritou.
"Hey, Milla! We suppose to go here."
"You guys can go first. This is not my first time visiting Inazuma although it has been a long time since my last visit. I still have my own identification in here so don't worry." Camilla casually answers.
"But where are you going?" Ask Lumine.
"...To meet the old friend. We will see you in Inazuma City." Camilla answered cooly before going out followed by Leif. Thoma that seeing the interaction can't help but look at Camilla suspiciously. He didn't know anything about Camilla's information. Her arrival is even shrouded by mystery.
"Hey, Traveler. Are your friend, Milla always been like that?" Thoma asks.
"Yep yep. She just does as she wishes. You didn't want to hear Paimon complain about her. When we meet her in Naferanam, she is just so prideful. Hmph! If not because of the dessert that she offers, Paimon will start giving her an ugly nickname."
"Plus you're afraid of her Paimon."
"No, Paimon not!"
"Really?" Lumine tease her.
"Well... maybe a little!" Thoma heard their answer but can't help but blurted the question.
"Sound like you have not known her that long. Why let her tag along then?"
"You have a way to talk, mister. Paimon wants to know how you can refuse an offer from someone like her knowing that her identity is-"
"Paimon!" Lumine increase her voice a little bit.
"Uh... knowing that her identity is very popular in Naferanam. Yeah. She is pretty popular in Naferanam that why we can't exactly refuse her. Hehe..."
Thoma looks at Paimon's face and knows that there is something that they hiding. But he decides to let this matter go. Besides, he can just report this to lord Ayato later and if any other action is needed, Lord Ayato will be the one that decided that.
"I see. Now come on. We must hurry before they close the office." Said Thoma while putting his smile back.
"Must they be that paranoid of me? What is so wrong with some visitors that come from Naferanam city?" I complain while noticing some of the shadows that follow me.
"If the so-called visitor is known to hide her identity then I would be very paranoid too, My lady." Said Leif.
"You? Paranoid? I think you would just capture the so-called visitor and start to interrogate them with so many creative ways until they talk." I answer with a scoff.
"You really know me the best, my lady~," Leif said while smiling happily. I look at the shrine gate that has been standing proud in front of me. Finally, we arrive at Grand Narukami Shrine.
"Are you sure it wise for them to see you while talking with her?" Leif starts to ask in the Naferanam language.
"Let them see what they want to see. I have nothing to hide against their lord. My problem is only involving the Shogun." I answer back.
"My, my~ Such a harsh word. I wonder how she will react when she heard one of her closest friends talking about her creation like that." The very familiar voice starts to ring around the shrine. The clacking sound can be heard until a familiar figure emerged.
"It nice to see you still hanging around here, Miko."

Shift (Ben 10+DCU Fanfiction)
Omnitrix+ DCU, what's not to like? The main character will not be Ben Tennyson, rather someone from our world who gains the Omnitrix Hello! This fanfiction Shift is what I wanted to do for an homage to what I thought were underrated pieces of media, Ben 10 and some DCU characters. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t add context to two of the major works that inspired Shift, Dial, and A Practical Guide to Evil. Dial is another ben 10 fanfiction, however that story takes place in the MCU, and with an adult that is already a grown-up at the beginning of the story. Dial, by my own accounts, is more superficially Like shift, even though the Omnitrix is a central device in both. My protagonist starts out around 18 years old, so is less serious and can build relationships with some of the junior justice league members, and then later on in the story meet the Justice League officially. The tone will be more light-hearted at the beginning of the story as teenagers are known to use sarcasm and jokes at each other’s expense. Furthermore, in Dial, the protagonist has a well-developed knowledge of the MCU which he uses to have knowledge on events and characters, that the character in Shift will not have. While the MC will have some knowledge of people's abilities, lesser-known characters and people's real identities will be not included as much, but the MC of Shift will have some knowledge. APGTE's influence is deeper than Dials'. The epigraphs at the beginning of every chapter are an example of that, a place for light-hearted jokes and worldbuilding that's not pure exposition, but I also want to incorporate narrative stories to Shift (heroes win more than lose, providence, etc) on a lighthearted scale. While the heroes of Shift will have to work to win against villains, the MC of Shift will be allowed limited precognition, through narratives tropes and archetypes as a trade-off of less knowledge of the DCU. For example, a villain a hero faces might monologue, but the MC will not instinctively know how to counter every villain they encounter. I also wanted to bring in more realism than usual superhero stories, ie: the MC cannot just walk and have a meeting with Batman or Superman, he would have to “work his way up” in terms of credibility and whatnot. The Aliens that show up in Shift I tried to make different than the ones in Dial, just to share the love for lesser-known characters. And to make it fairer for the villains of the DCU, the main character will not wantonly use if gain at all an Alien X or a ben 10 form of Kryptonians, just so the characters have to work a little bit for victory. I urge anyone reading to consider checking out both APGTE and Dial as they are both amazing works, and I hope you enjoy them. The beginning of how the MC enters the DCU will not be as important as him actually existing in that universe, so that is why a ton of time is not spent on that part of the story. Chapters will be around 2.5 thousand words and come out around every weekday.

[OLD] The Magus of Imminent Oblivion
AN: This is a pretty shitty novel, in case you haven't already guessed that by the rating. Check out the newer version that I'm writing, since it has more content written and higher quality (I hope). He was a nameless child born at the end of a great war. He gave himself a name, then worked his way to prosperity. He had a job, a wife, a daughter, and his future looked bright. But, then, things changed. His wife and daughter were dead, and a hundred bodies laid strewn across the floor. He couldn't continue to live; he pierced his body with his own sword. Awakening in a new world, his new body burned with an old fury. Where magic was common and power was cheap, he vowed to never let anything get the better of him.
