Chapter 6 : The Shen Hua Mountain Part 3
The bulky man said as they continued on walking. Liu Xiao took a quick glance on the pathways before answering.
loud coughs of disciples were heard in the background. They are signaling the bulky man that what he said just now was super rude and insulting.
Liu Xiao sighed then rolled his eyes. Liu Xiao said. The disciples behind became silent and are waiting on Liu Xiao's next words so he continued.
Liu Xiao frowned and tsked before continuing again. He said, hesitating his last words.
The bulky man's opened mouth closed and slowly nodded, pretending to agree to Liu Xiao. He adjusted his shoulder so that Liu Xiao can sit comfortably. Liu Xiao scolded the disciples in the back. He noticed Wu Qingge was staring at him with a pissed expression.
Why are you staring at me like that, damn it! v(;´༎ຶД༎ຶ')v I didn't do anything to you.... I didn't even torment you anymore using other disciples! Don't raise my death flag on your own!
Wu Qingge noticed Liu Xiao's gaze. His pissed expression turned into a gentle smile. Liu Xiao immediately gave an awkward smile in return.
Liu Xiao raised his hand and the whole crowd halts and became alarmed. The other unsheathed their sword and circled their eyes around the dark and tall trees.
Liu Xiao get down on the bulky man's shoulder. Wu Qingge's pissed expression completely disappeared from the back. The bulky man supported him to carefully land on the ground. Lou Xiao nodded at him as thanks and walked forward the large boulder that's blocking their path.
The night seemed long. Liu Xiao remembered that they were walking for five hours now. The large bright moon didn't even move and stayed from above. Wait...... Didn't move? Could this be....
Liu Xiao loudly slapped himself. The disciples were all surprised and asked him. one disciples asked.
Liu Xiao sighed loudly while massaging his temples.
The disciples were all panicking amd murmuring. Liu Xiao glanced at Wu Qingge and Chen Yi who's talking to Wu Qingge non-stop while he just nodded and remained silent.
Liu Xiao called. Chen Yi just looked at him and stood next to Wu Qingge. After a few seconds, she got what Liu Xiao is trying to say and walked towards him. Liu Xiao turned his gaze on the panicking and whispering disciples.
and looked at Liu Xiao who is looking at them with a frowned face. an inner disciple asked.
Liu Xiao clapped his hand one time and spoke. the inner disciples followed Liu Xiao's order even if they had a lot of questions in their minds.

As the inner disciples pour their spiritual qi to Liu Xiao and Chen Yi. The two of them flicked their hand and a large amount of talisman appeared. They both infused their spiritual qi and the combined disciples spiritual qi to the large amount of talisman. They continued to do it until all the talisman was infused by spiritual qi. The talismans raise leaped through the sky, surrounding the Shen Hua Mountain.
After all talismans surround the Shen Hua Mountain, Liu Xiao and Chen Yi exploded the spiritual qi that were infused in the talismans. The talismans slowly disappeared like a paper being burned by the fire. Then slowly, the dark sky and the large bright moon slowly disappeared along the talismans, like a fading picture.
Liu Xiao felt stupid as he stared at the fading image of the dark sky and moon. No wonder he felt a faint of odd spiritual qi as he took an first step of the mountain and also felt a faint of spiritual qi all over the place as he entered. The spiritual qi is not just protecting the Shen Hua Mountain from outside, but it was all over the mountain. Spreading and covering it like how a water is poured on a soil. It showed a bit of wet image outside but is also wet inside when you dig it.
The disciples were looking at the two of them like they're asking for an explanation. Liu Xiao looked away and was too lazy to speak because he used too much spiritual qi so Chen Yi was left with no choice but to explain to the disciples. Oh, so we have the same thought. Chen Yi, i thought you are just a spoiled woman who flock around Wu Qingge. My judgement is wrong. ╮(╯▽╰)╭
the disciples stopped and thought over on what Chen Yi said. Later on they finally get what's going on. "
They all looked at the surroundings. The carriage and the sleeping coachman was still there and the bonfires the disciples made earlier. The moon was already about to go down, meaning that it's already midnight. The moon was just about to go up when they set foot on this mountain. They realized they wasted to much time.
Liu Xiao started walking forward. The disciples remembered that he said he spraines his ankle earlier so he let himself be carried. But that's actually a lie. Liu Xiao was too scared earlier t walk on his own at the front so he planned to use the bulky man as his meat shield but of course, he still had a sense of humanity to not let the bulky man be eaten by the human snakes. The disciples were about to ask Liu Xiao about his sprained ankle but instead, the shut their moith because they used too much spiritual qi just for a trap barrier.

The dark and lifeless forest of the mountain is now bright. The flowers were all glowing like a lantern that lights out the dark forest and there were human snakes feeding on it's spiritual qi. The disciples was about to strike them with their sword but instead, the human snakes ran away through the bushes once they blinked one time so the disciples thought that it's useless to attack them.
They walked and walked up to the mountain even if their feets hurt. No one complained because they wasted too much time. All types of flowers lights up the dark so they put out the fire of the torches because the mountain was bright enough and the torches are not needed anymore.
Suddenly, the ground agressively starts quivering. All the tiny stones lying in the ground started jumpping as a loud thud was heard from behind. All the disciples unsheathed their sword and started pointing everywhere with a circling motion. Suddely, a girl's scream was heard.
A body of a snake as big as a two combined trees with an upside down swollen face a human and it had a large amount centipede legs. It looked weird and disgusting. The strange creature roared and a dark purplish spiritual qi exploded. The disciples who couldn't parry it was thrown away by the monstrous force.
Oh my f*cking god! Why is a snake with black lotus spiritual qi here! I'm gonna pee my pants! (´༎ຶ༎ຶ) This is the worst opponent ever! Could it be that it was an original tiny human snake like those creatures we encountered earlier that always ran away? Maybe it accidentally fed on a flower's spiritual qi that was infected by the black lotus essence. That's scary! Even an infected flower could make a monster this strong! What will happen if this snake fed on the black lotus essence itself! My death flag will raise through the space!
The gigantic snake infused his own body with the black lotus qi. The trees who made contact with it were unmercifully crushed into powder. Oh my god even a contact of black lotus qi can crush things into powder! What if i suddenly make contact to it?! No! I don't want to be a human powder! (´༎ຶ༎ຶ)
The upside down human face of the strange creature suddenly turned into a smile. The disciples who saw it all trembled in fear. The others unconciously let go of their sword and lose balance because of the fear. The small tiny snakes on the back were all grinning while looking at them amusingly.
Fuck you, worms! I thought you were running away earlier but you were actually calling your final boss here! I should've slashed you all earlier into pieces before you could run away! I spared you all because you looked so pitiful! Now i regret it! (╬ಠ益ಠ)
The eyes of the final boss lingered through the crowd of the trembling disciples, like it's finding or sensing something. Then it's eyes stopped on Wu Qingge, it's upside down face grinned even more as it charged it's way through the protagonist, ignoring the disciples in the side.
Liu Xiao realized that the strange creature feeds on black lotus spiritual qi—and Wu Qingge had tons of it! No wonder it easily found us. It was like a black lotus qi radar. He suddenly ran at Wu Qingge's direction and grabbed his arm to led him in a different direction. The creature really followed Wu Qingge! Oh my god!
Liu Xiao cut Wu Qingge's words, grabbing his arm tightly. The trees that were getting in the way of the gigantic monster were all crushed by it's dark purplish spiritual qi. It crawled it's way through Liu Xiao and Wu Qingge's direction.
Liu Xiao got an idea when he saw the cliff. It was deep that it can't be seen what's on below. He shouted to call Chen Yi and said:
Chen Yi followed Liu Xiao's orders. While the two men were leading the gigantic snake far from her direction, she immediately led the disciples on the opposite way. even though the disciples were trembling in their knees, the still followed Chen Yi and started running. The baggage and the other swords were left in the ground as they started running swiftly.
When Liu Xiao noticed that most of the disciples were now gone, he hurriedly grabbed Wu Qingge's face. The boy was surprised and raised both his eyebrows.
Liu Xiao asked. Wu Qingge nodded as the gigantic snake crawled on their way, they both stand to the edge of the cliff before getting the right chance to jump.

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!

Bone And Amber: The Inside Story On The Return Of The Dinosaurs
A miracle has been achieved: non-avian, Mesozoic dinosaurs have been brought back to life - not by a technical university or a government programme, but by a venture capitalist concern, for reasons of profit. The social, economic, and political ripples of this development will do much more than enable the simple launch of a theme park for the rich: they will change the world. FAQ: Do I need to know anything about the Jurassic Park franchise to enjoy this? No. This story is not exactly a Jurassic Park fanfic - it is a story about the de-extinction of Mesozoic dinosaurs. While the story begins with some of the events depicted in the Jurassic Park universe, it is very much its own creature, and designed for readers with no prior knowledge of the franchise. It will begin to diverge quite quickly, as well: the dramatic focus will not be on people running around tropical islands trying to be eaten. The whole point of the exercise is to explore the profound consequences and ripples an event like the mass-cloning of extinct animals would generate.Do I need to know anything about dinosaurs to enjoy this? Also no! Sensing a theme yet? Although, if I’ve done my homework correctly, a newbie to the subject will be able to pick up something - not just about the animals themselves, but about their role as a vehicle to better understand the history of life on Earth, and the application of the scientific method to a sadly fragmentary puzzle.Without further ado, please enjoy!
