Emma came running. She bowed. "My lady isn't allowed to go out before her coming of age ceremony. That's the duke's order." she said looking down.
What? Really, anyways I am not gonna listen to that old man.
"But isn't the ceremony day after tomorrow?" Catherine asked.
"Yes my lady."
I walked towards Catherine.
"Leave us alone." I directed to Emma. She bowed and went out.
"Would you like to go for the Elpida festival?"
"If you want to then please let out this butterfly." I concentrated my mana and drawn out a butterfly with my fire element. I passed it onto her hand. "The fire will not harm you." The butterfly sat on her beautiful pale hand. She looked amused. Her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Your highness, is your spirit fire element?" I nodded. "Can you show me?"
"Sure I will but not here." I smiled. "Then I will be waiting for your reply my lady." I kissed at the back of her hand. She seems flustered, how cute.
I walked out.
Emma was standing outside. "I hope you will listen to your lady." She looked stiff, then bowed.

Kya!
Is it normal to kiss at the back of hand?! Isn't it too much! I placed my hand on my cheeks which were on fire. I looked at mirror, my cheeks and ears have turned red. He.... nevermind this is a way of greeting here. Emma entered. I ran to her.
"Emma what is Elpida festival?" "My lady it's welcome ceremony for Lord Helia. It takes place before his lords arrival" "You mean the god's messenger." she nodded. "Please let me go Emma." I attacked her with my ultimate puppy eye look, even the stone like duke will melt.
After few minutes of intense puppy stare, it was K.O. for Emma. "Okay, but my lady should return before midnight so that duke wouldn't know." I hugged, reassuring her "You are the best Emma." I walked to the balcony and let out the butterfly which Michael gave me.

I hope it reaches to him. "What should I wear then?" I said looking at Emma, she looked more enthusiastic than ever.

"It seems the sun of the empire has too much free time to visit the Denver's dukedom." the duke came walking towards me. "Yea maybe since I should visit my master's house." He looked irritated. "Anyways let's have some tea." We walked towards the center of the Rosaria garden,my master's garden.
"Cathy doesn't much remember about the past, as you know." the duke said as he sat down and directing me to sit. "Yes I am aware of that." "Also, the Archbishop is keeping an eye on her." he said taking a sip of tea.
What? Why? She doesn't have the divine power.
"What is your decision?" I asked him.
"Of course it's a . It is and will be NO." I understand him but, "Shouldn't you also consider Cathy's opinion." he didn't say a thing.
"They!" He blurted out, the winds started getting strong. "Remember how your master suffered right?!" The wind swirled up. I sighed. "You are right." I said calming him down, the gush of wind stopped.
"But when did you start calling my daughter Cathy?" his gaze piercing through my head. I sipped my tea. "Who knows what future holds." I smirked. The butterfly that I gave to Cathy returned to me. "I am looking forward to meet duke as my..... father-in-law."
He slammed the tea cup on the table. "Not under my watch." he grinned. That old hag.
"Whatever, I am heading out." I stood up. "Be careful your highness you might trip by missing a foot." ahh that old man, let's see.

In Catherine's room, Emma was excited rather than worrying. "My lady I will dress you up." "So that's a yes right?" Catherine lounges onto her for hug. "Thank you so much Emma." she pecked her cheeks.

Emma smiled and then started showing the dress for Catherine to wear.
Atlast they came to a conclusion.
"I will wear this" Catherine looked exhausted as if her soul has departed to heavens.
Getting ready it was almost 7, the sun was nowhere to see. "Here my lady I hope you have safe journey and enjoy!" Emma smiled and handed her a handkerchief. Emma helped her to sneak out of the mansion. The reached the back of the mansion. Michael who was waiting there with a black horse, saw Catherine. He walked towards her.
"You look stunning my lady." he tucked her hair back her ears. "T-Thankyou" Stuttering, Catherine looked at him flustered giving a winsome smile. She could feel butterflies doing a summersault and doing a Jazz drumming in her abdomen.
He wrapped her with a black cloak with a hoody covering her radiant purple eyes. The silence was unbreakable. They walked towards the horse. "Alexi meet Cathy, she is also your owner from now." he patted him and held Catherine's hand helping her to pat him.
She hesitatingly placed her palm on Alexi's head. The horse softly neighed. She smiled warmly.
Michael climbed on the horse. "Here let me help you" extending his hands to her he called out. Catherine who didn't know how to climb looked helpless. She held his hand and to her shock, the next second she was back on the horse.
"Please hold onto me." she was stunned by the fact that she is this close like really close and above it hold him!! She was dumbfounded but as soon as the horse started moving she tightened her grips on his waist.
Squeezing her eyes, feeling her arms on his well built body, she started chanting mantra Oh god, calm down, calm down calm down.
His scent filling the air around her, she couldn't concentrate on her mantra, losing her uncontrollable heartbeat, fearing that Michael may hear her.
Michael who was almost at the verge of passing out as Catherine hugged him, she was right in his arms now. Soon they reached the village town, greeted by warm sound of celebration, clinging of beer glasses, childrens hauling out of excitement.
"We are here Cathy" Catherine was surprised by him calling her nickname. Michael as if he understood immediately said, "Ahem..We are out so it's better to call name than address." He jumped down. He extended his arm. "Then I will call you Micky." she said and jumped into his arms.
After placing her down on ground he gave a rather forced smile. "Sure" remembering to have a very confidential talk (To kill Andrew with different methods) with Andrew.
"Then Micky let's go!!" Catherine held his hand, at that moment the anger in him subsided and thus Andrew was able to see the sun next day.
As they went over many store, trying many street food, checking the ornaments, watching the street performers performing, laughing and enjoying, they came across a building.
"Cathy stay here, I will be right back." he went inside the building. Catherine sat down on the seat near the building as she waited for him. The air started to feel chilly. Feeling cold she rubbed her palms heating it and placed it on her cheeks.
All of a sudden a dark figure appeared in front of her. With an uncanny aura. She flinched and as if her whole body froze, she couldn't even lift a finger. The dark figure started to appear clear.
Crimson red eyes thirsty for blood, porcelain white skin, hair as black as the sky, with an alluring look he said, "Cathy, you are looking good! Now as I have fulfilled your wish.... the contract still remains."
