《Mianite: Unitended》Unsecured

"What the".
Hope was standing by herself in Dianites temple and somehow she got a cat. Not even a normal cat, a bright red cat.
She waved awkwardly at my trying to keep the cat in her grasp. "Hi".
I rubbed my eyes. "How".
"Jordan don't try to put logic to it", Sonja crossed her arms. "Dianite's the God of chaos and mayhem. This is normal here".
I shook my head. "How did you get the-"
"Dianite", she chirped in answering my question.
Tucker's eyes widened so far it looked like his pupils were dilated. "You talked to Dianite and lived".
"Yea obviously", Tom said. "Because she used to be a-"
He stopped talking seeing the way Hope was glaring at him.
"Dianite gave you a cat Hope", Sonja said it more as a statement than a question. "You can't keep it now".
She held on tighter to the cat. "I'm keeping it".
"Hope what if Dianite did something to the cat".
"No", disappointment rushed into her voice. "Dianite hurt her. Scarlett is just sick".
I cringed to myself. "Hope you already named it", I sighed. "Your attached now?"
She looked at her feet. The cat content only having its stomach held by her small arms. Any other cat would move. "What if this happened to me. You would still keep me".
Tom laughed to himself. "Hope, your not an animal".
She did that eyebrow raise thing that she does that usually meant death. "Really. How is that any different".
"He's right, your as disobedient as a pet, let's go", I snapped.
"Okay, and I'll bring Scarlett", she adjusted the cat in her hands now holding it comfortably.
"Hope, I don't think he wants you to bring th cat", Sonja tried to lean on to the point.
Hope started to wear off my mind when I heard something from over by the throne in Dianites temple. I walked over ignoring everyone else.

"Hey Jordan". Tom tried to get my intention.
I don't completely know what the noise was, it was actually unexplainable. Just white noise that I wanted to check out.
The throne was huge, golden, red cushions, and terrifying.
"Shit, man", Tom dragged me over from the throne. "What do you think your doing".
I realized again where I was, Dianite's temple. That was probably Dianite's throne with some strange hypnotism effect on me.
"I-uhh", the dizziness left. "What?"
"Lets get you out of here before things get any worse".
Tom had to drag Jordan out of the temple pretty quick, so none of us got to see what Jordan was so interested in.
I put him into bed, being the mom of the group and all, he was groggy and loopy the whole way Tom led us home. On the bright side I got to keep my cat.
Scarlett was so happy at home, she's not a big fan of Tom though.
I guess it was actually a good thing that Jordan got sick. The only major fight with Ianite stopped.
And he was fine by the morning. It's not like a fear demon was draining his soul slowly.
I rolled up a paper ball for Scarlett to play with. She was laying on the other side of the lab fast asleep.
"Hey Scarlett", I threw a paper ball at her. She darted up her head from laying on her side. She blinked a couple of times wrinkling her nose. Patting the paper ball back at me, like more or less she was the one entertaining me.
I picked the ball up ready to throw it back at the sleeping Scarlett, until I heard a knock on the door.
I opened the lab door, which was really actually the front door, up. Tucker greeted himself in and started going through some of Jordan's files.

"Uhh, Tucker"
He kept on going through the files swearing to himself, and ignoring me.
"Tucker!"
He turned around glaring at me, "What?".
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING", I yelled glaring back at him.
He opened his mouth starting off an excuse.
I crossed my arms. "And the truth would be nice, thank you very much".
He took a deep breath gritting his teeth. "Fine, Hope". He stacked the files neatly like nothing happened. "Mianite wanted me to ask you Ianites about a photo, to do with", he put his hand over his mouth, muffling the next few words. "ianitewhoiguessisreal".
I did my sassy eyebrow raise thing. "What did you say?"
"Ianite who I guess is-"
"Real!", I interrupted him which made Tucker more upset.
"Yes I guess your God is-"
I started laughing interrupting him a second time. Tucker was always the one who had dought if Ianite was real or not. Me and Jordan just always kinda hoped that she was real and he always rained on are parade with logic and responsibility and useless stuff like that.
He was more upset this time then the first.
I kept on laughing so hard to the fact that Scarlett was no longer napping and now staring at me.
"Hope!"
I stopped laughing and now had my attention peeled on him, "Yes".
"He said he needs a picture of some sort", he said. "You know where you had your first Mission. That place that went up into flames".
I nodded my head yes.
"They couldn't find the picture there and it should have been in the funny right next to the Modsteps. Nothing in the safes burned so we were hoping that you took it instead of another Dianite".
I instantly knew what he was talking about. That picture with the writing in the back. I had kept it and I had hidden it, just incase a Dianite were to kill some one for it. "Oh yea, I know what your talking about".
His gloomy face lite up. "Can you get it?"
"One second!".
I ran out of the lab into my room. I stood up on the small single bed that I was stuck with and messed with one of the boards on the low ceiling. I reached into the tiny crack searching for the bag that I put my Wrider hearts and the picture in.
It was the leather bag that I had stolen from the Modsteps. I scooted away all of the Wrider hearts that were faded of Color from the winter and grabbed the picture. The picture was slightly wrinkled, still black and white. The too familiar lighting scene at the beginning of my true story shaded the front of the paper and on the back the words 'hiding the heart' we're still scribbled aimlessly.
I knew that picture had to mean something.
