《The Spark of Balance: The Realm of Mianite (Book 1)》Ch24- The loan

Claire POV-
"I need a loan" said Tom in a hushed voice.
"A what? A loan!? Jordan said. She couldn't believe it, he had stood by as she was being tortured not to long ago and now he was asking for a loan like she was Wells Fargo.
"You dont understand, you owe me. When you flooded our base I managed to retrieve my good stuff but on my way back home a creeper blew me up....wait...what was that? I saw them!!!! You lied to me!"
Tom rushed to the hill of her house full speed, after a few seconds of screaming like a mad man he came back looking angry and hurt.
"You told them where I was! How could you!? I don't know if I can trust you anymore." Said Tom with a child like tone.
"Of course I did! What did you think I would do? When I saw you by my house I thought you were here to kill me so of course I told them were you were at. It wasn't until after that you told me you needed to talk alone."
"I...I dont know if I can trust you anymore"
"Ok then. I'm just gonna go back home and take a nap then, nice talk Tom. As you can see a group of people hurt me badly, so Im gonna go get some much needed rest"
"No no wait! Ok listen, just give me any extra stuff you have and ill be on my way."
"I dont have anything extra, a certain group of people looted my house a while ago. Besides why on earth would I help the enemy?"
"Fine then, ill just kill you and take what you have now!!!!"
"With your current armor and weapons, I wouldn't even try. Im going back to my room."
Jordan locked her door and rushed upstairs. She closed her bedroom doors and windows and flopped onto her bed.

"Yo, what the hell happened, Tom is screaming his lungs off outside" asked Tucker
She explained the loan situation to Tucker and Sonja and they explained how Tom had briefly attacked them when he saw them.
"He is absolutely paranoid, it makes sense though, he is defenseless at the moment" said Sonja.
"Yeah, all he has left is whats on him and his horse. I even saw him steal some of my crops for food" said Jordan.
"Wow, looks like he finally hit rock bottom" said Tucker before he burst out laughing.
They all felt bad for him, but on the other hand, they were relieved that they didn't have to worry about Tom for a while.
Jordan could still hear the galloping and screams in the distance. It made her upset, he hadn't even apologized for what happened. He was willing to kill her for her stuff. How could he!
"He has truly lost his mind, I can hear his screams all the way from the nether" said a familiar male voice.
She didnt even have to open her eyes to know who that was. She was too exhausted to run away much less leave her bed. Instead she just pulled up her covers so they would cover all of her.
"Go away! You cant just show up at someone's house uninvited you know."
"I can do whatever I want dear, you just haven't excepted that yet. Makes sense, you're an outsider after all."
"What the hell do you want now, im trying to sleep. As you can see, dealing with your followers has made me exhausted"
"I came because the priest mentioned you had woken up, I wanted to see for myself"
"... and?"
"Nothing much...Ianite sends his regards.." Dianite said with an evil grin on his face.
Jordan didnt know what to say. She wasnt strong enough to fight him, crying would probably just make Dianite happy, and who knows what kind of game he was playing.

"Just thought you should know, when he's not choking on his own blood he calls your name. How pathetic!" He said in between laughter.
"What do you want me to say? M'lord will always be whom I follow, nothing is gonna change that."
Jordan turned her back to Dianite, leaning on the other side of the bed. Suddenly she felt a hand grab the collar of her shirt pulling her upwards. Dianite then began to levitate but would let go of her. Using his powers, he opened the window and took her outside with him.
One minute she was in bed, the next she was airborne, about 50 feet of the ground. Screaming would have been useless so she closed her eyes and tried to calm her mind. Then suddenly she felt them stop, they were right over the ocean not to far from the shore.
"You need to learn your place human, that is no way to talk to the God's" said Dianite slowly as if to make sure she heard every word.
Before Jordan got a chance to say something he let go, she could feel any screams coming out of her mouth, instead, her eyes were watering like crazy, making it harder to see where she was.
Before she hit the water she felt herself in someone's arms.
Ianite.
He must have come to save her, she wiped the tears from her eyes and saw that she was right on the aspect that it was a God that saved her, it was just the wrong god.
"Mianite!?"
"How do you feel?" He said with his deep voice but in a rather light tone.
"I despise your brother. Thank you...how did you know I was in trouble?"she said catching her breath.
"I just happened to see my foul brother drop a human over the ocean, it seems I teleported here just in time. What did you say to upset my brother?"
"He's been bothering me for a while. I guess I was just to tired to be afraid him if that makes any sense"
Mianite gave her a warm smile and slowly descended back to land with her still in his arms. Once they hit land he carried her to her house, which was honestly unexpected, he didn't say a single word the whole way there.
She wasn't sure how he felt about her since she got to the island, he had always been a very serious, but it can be assumed that at least he doesn't hate her. That was a relief, she didn't want to upset any more gods.
He slowly made his way up the stairs and set her on her bed.
"I apologize for my brother's character, he can be quite a pain sometimes"
"Thank you for everything, you didn't have to bring me all the way back here."she said shyly.
"Not a problem, just stay home for today. You need some rest for those wounds. I'm off to speak to my champions, you'll be glad to know Dianite, myself, and the priest are coming up with a compromise to end this war. As for now, take care of yourself."
Mianite was closing her bedroom door but before he did Jordan caught his attention.
"How is Lord Ianite?"
"Worry not, I have a feeling that it will soon be time for you to deal with that. Would you like me to pass a message for you? Thats the only promise I can make."
"Tell him that I cant wait to see him again. Ill do anything I need to do to save him. Until then, i'll fight for him."
Miante seemed shocked at her message, he smiled to himself before he bagan to close the door once more.
"Very well, sleep well Sparkles"
He was gonna talk to Ianite... he would get her message. At last she could sleep in peace knowing that it could help Ianite remember that he's not alone. If she was being honest with herself, she wasn't sure why she cared about him so much...

Heart of the World (LitRPG)
This is the story of how I stabbed a bear. Well... technically speaking, that became the moment my life went into a vastly different direction, all on my way to 'The Mission'. The one I had been given alongside two other seasoned players. To help people in a world with a world. But, oh hoh, that bear... Don't get me started on that. So, apart from that, here is the gist of the other part. I'm a year long employee. Though, several years before I became an employee of theirs, this crazy ensuing madness of a Full Dive battle royale between even more companies started to boil over to a breaking point. Mine thought to search for something that would truly blow the competition out of the water. Well, they found it. Deep under the sea actually. They called it a game changer. Rumors abounded of course. But the most common knowledge became that it was a power source unlike the world had ever seen. However, I can tell you now, the unknown sometimes bump back. Especially when experimenting on highly unknown elements. Still, years safely went by and thus I became a developer there. Now, what does any of this got to do with stabbing a bear? Well, ask them that! They started it all. I'm new remember! Though, chaos ensued, and well, I was there. It probably helped that I had proven myself a good fighter in game and that I had some knowledge that could help with the triplets. Oh, but my sister would box my ears if she ever realized how little time I spent learning what the other developers created in the game before I had to go in there on, 'The Mission.' So, this is a story of a mission to save the people in Realm of Ancients. Not those rookies! Oh no, that was just a precurser. AND THERE WAS THE BEAR! Sorry, I had trouble getting over it. But that specific moment changed things. -- -- Hi! This is a project I have started for the fun. This is not your typical comedy. Yes, I added quite a bit humour to the story, BUT as things go into the eye of the storm the character will face challenges that hits him down. So it is not comedy in every chapter. But what do they say, when you've hit bottom, only way to go is up! :D I am always open to suggestions that might take the story to new heights, so you all are welcome to discuss the story in the comments. Just remember the all important SPOILER tags. ;) -Omri - I'd truly appreciate if you rate the story and leave reviews as we go. ;)

Greys II - Ghosts
There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons. Not a YA novel (again).**Due to disturbing themes, violence, depression, language and literally everything else, this is not for the kids. Ghosts is darker than Intentions.
