On the night of William's night, every noble was there, including Chinatsu who was at his side during his opening speech and throughout the rest of the evening.

But before that Chinatsu has to go up onto the large golden stage and humiliate herself in front of stuck-up nobles.

"Alright, good evening everyone." Chinatsu started with a solid flat tone "Before we start the gracious evening I would do the honors of presenting our tradition gift-giving to our wonderful Captain first." in between her lines she looked to her Captain who gave her a thumbs up for encouragement.

Walking behind her to the giant curtains that were obviously covering a giant painting. Everyone knew what it was, but exactly what was on the painting?

William sensing that he was supposed to go onto the stage invited himself onto it giving a wave to the audience.

Many whispers begin to erupt as Chinatsu gripped the curtain string to reveal the painting.

"It's gotta be the classic painting of Captain Vangeance himself"

"No way its a painting of herself"

As Vangeance heard similar guesses in the audience but none of them would actually be close to what it could be.

'Remember Chinatsu is unpredictable'

Under the curtains was a painting of a tree in the process of being struck by lightning on a clear day.

Cue many gasps.

Cue another gasp from the Captain himself.

Silence.

Using the silence Chinatsu walked up to her Captain "I present you this painting as a gift."

"More like a death threat" Langris mumbled under his breath.

Finally, the Captain regained his composure and smiled at her "Many thanks, Chinatsu. It is certainly interesting."

Chinatsu nodded and made her way over to her room for some well-deserved rest.

As Chinatsu left without even asking permission from him William could only smile at Chinatsu's nature. She certainly was an interesting character.
