Isas had forced Kimi to leave Suki alone with him because she needed to get to her own class. But not before taking Suki on their own little tour.
The school only had one floor but was fairly large on the inside.
"Annnd across the yard is the gym!" Kimi concluded.
"You have a very interesting school..." Suki said softly.
"It's awesome here-" Kimi said, opening her arms wide and accidentally hitting a passing student, causing them to retaliate and shove Kimi to the floor.
"Watch it!" The flashy looking student shouted.
Suki bent down and brought Kimi to her feet.
"Are you okay?" Suki asked.
"Yeah fine..." Kimi muttered, her smile faltering.
"Are you sure you're okay...?"
Kimi was quiet for a second.
"I won't lie to you...I may have embleshed the truth about everyone here...But I only did it because you're new and I didn't want you to think it was a horrible place...Not that it is! I just....there are a lot of people here who need help. I see them crying in the halls or in the bathroom..I want to help them...I try..but they don't...all I'm sayin is...sometimes people don't want help..."
Kimi looked down at the floor for a moment, then plastering a smile on her face.
"Well, I gotta get going. See ya later, Suk!"
Kimi disappeared into the sea of on coming students.
Suki lost herself in space for a moment, thinking about Kimi's words, and most importantly, her always faltering smile.
Was her smile always so fake?
I shouldn't be talking...I don't even have a smile...not anymore at least..
"Ichika-San!' Someone called.
Suki whipped around and saw Isas waving her over.
She smiled, waving and running to him.

"Well, how was Kimi's version of the tour?" He asked kindly.
"It was interesting, to say the least."
"Let me guess, she only showed you the cafeteria and any other place that had a vending machine?"
Suki giggled. "Pretty much."
Isas smiled, shaking his head. "Ah..typical Kimi..well, shall we carry on with our tour?"
Suki nodded.
"Right this way then."
Suki followed behind Isas but was stopped abruptly after being hit with a wave of dizziness.
"Is everything okay?" She asked.
"Y-yes...everything's fine. Let us proceed."

Jumin sat in the back of the classroom when he received a phone call from an unknown number.
"Huh?"
He decided to answer it.
"Uh, hello?"
"Is this Suki Ichika speaking?" A woman on the other side asked.
"Uh..no? Who is-"
But before Jumin could finish, the woman hung up.
Well, that was weird...What could she have wanted with Suki-tan?
"Jumin-Kun!" Kimi called, walking over to him.
"Oh, hey Kimi."
"So, whadda think about Suki-San?"
"She's cute..."
"Just cute?"
"Well what do you want me to say? She's cute and she seems nice. That's it." Jumin snapped suddenly.
Kimi was taken aback. "Are you okay...? You haven't been acting like yourself late-"
She stopped when she spotted a bruise on his cheek.
Her expression turned into concern and hurt. Kimi placed her hand gently on his cheek.
"Oh Jumin..."
"You don't have to worry about me..."
"You're my friend, of course I do.."
Jumin gave a limp smile. Kimi's kindness was just too much for him. He felt like he didn't deserve it.
"I'll be fine Kimchi."
"I thought I told you not to call me that."

Jumin smirked. "It's a cute name though.."
"Whatever."
They laughed together, forgetting the troubles from before.

Isas continued to give Suki the tour even though he could hardly see five feet in front of him. Lately, he had been have bouts of dizziness, light blindness, and splitting headaches.
He wanted to stop. He wanted to take a break. But he couldn't. He couldn't stop.
Even if it hurt him.
"Isas-kun?" Suki asked.
"Hm? Oh, yes Suki-San?" He replied.
"I...I just wanted to know...how long have you lived in Narharu?"
"My entire life actually. Jumin and I are childhood friends. We know each other inside and out..."
"It must be nice..."
"It must have been difficult, leaving behind all of your friends. May I ask what your reason for moving was?"
Suki stopped in her tracks.
Even after so many times of saying it, the words still seemed to be stifled in her throat.
"M-my mother died a few months back..."
Isas' expression became one of sorrow and remorse.
Why did I ask her that? God, I'm an idiot!
"M-my condolences...and apologies. I-I chose my words poorly." Isas said.
"No! Isas, you didn't know.."
"I just-AAHH!"
Isas dropped to his knees in agonizing pain, screaming. This was no ordinary headache. This was something else.
"ISAS-KUN!" A girl shrieked, running over to him, as well as seven other girls, shoving Suki out of the way.
Suki didn't have time to be sour about being shoved. She had to get help. So, she ran away and went to find a nurse, leaving Isas in the crowd.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Suki ran to the other side of the building but what she came across was not what she expected.
Half of the building was bannered in yellow taped that was labeled Men and women in giant yellow hazmat suits ran in and out of this one classroom.
Students were held behind a line of policemen. They were all panicked and crying.
What was going on..?
"Yo! Suki-Tan!"
Suki turned around and spotted Kimi and Jumin coming over to her.
Suki walked over to them. Kimi had a big smile on her face, but it quickly faded when she came upon the scene.
"Whoa..what happened?"
Suki shrugged, still in a panic.
Jumin looked over her shoulder and all around her.
"Where's Isas?" Jumin asked, his voice cracking in fear.
Suki stayed quiet.
That was Jumin needed to know before turning around and running. He didn't care where, he just ran.
"WAIT! JUMIN!" Kimi cried.
She then grabbed Suki's wrist.
"C'mon!"
Suki nodded and they ran after him.
Please please be okay Isas. Please...
Blood Demon's Retirement
Civil War had raged on the Al-Shan Archipelago for the past four decades, only recently coming to an end with the enthronement of the new Emperor. This is not his story.
