《Persona 6: Fanmade redone!》Chapter 1: New Girl in Town
Advertisement
Suki Ichika sat uncomfortably on the back of the bus as she headed to the town of Naharu and sat there solemnly, because all she could think about was her mother who had died only a few months back.
And it was all because of a flu.
That's all she heard. It was just a flu. That was all she heard from doctors, from friends, even her own grandparents. It was just a flu.
Liars...they're all liars....they know nothing!
She fought back tears, making her head hurt. She had implanted it in her head that her mother wouldn't want her to be upset. She took it too heart. So she just kept fighting back tears so that way no one would notice. The bus was pretty crowded and uncomfortable, so she was pretty well hidden. But it hurt so much.
It hurt but, she felt like she had to do it.
Her head began hurting. Lack of sleep is what she thought.
I did get up pretty early...maybe I should get some rest...
Suki laid her head back on her seat and began to doze off, fading away from reality.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Suki woke up again, but it wasn't in her seat in the bus. She found herself lying down in a bed in a strange room casting a bluish hue. Something about the room was familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
Where am I....?
Suki sat up and looked around. The feeling that said she somehow knew this place.
Why does it feel like I've been here before...?
She continued to explore the room. There was hardly anything in it other than the bed. There was no window, there was no door. It was all just this room.
That's when she heard it.
"Suki, darling..."
She could feel her heart drop. That was her mother's voice. She whipped around, but she found nothing.
"Mom...?" She whispered.
"Suki! Over here, dear!"
She turned the other way. This time, there was a hallway. In that hallway was light.
She had a gut feeling that her mother was there. She knew it. It just had to be her.
"Mom! I'm coming!" She shouted.
She sprinted towards to where her mother was calling her.
"Mom!"
"Suki...where are you?"
"I'm right here, mom! I'm coming!"
Any reasonablity left Suki's brain. All she cared about was that her mother was at the end of this hallway, in the light. It was like she had just forgotten that what she was experiencing, what was happening, wasn't at all real.
So, when she jumped into the light, that was all she saw.
The bus stopped a few miles away from town. It had already become dark. Stepping on the bus was a young girl with long dark brown hair and light brown eyes and a surgical mask decorated with a frowny face with its tongue sticking out, holding a broken bicycle by the handles. Her face showed defeat.
"Broke your bike again, Kim?" The driver asked.
The girl sighed. "Yeah, I guess..."
The bus driver chuckled.
The girl pouted. "Don't patronize me."
"It's kinda hard not to." He said, still chuckling.
The girl rolled her eyes and began walking to the back when she saw Suki, her body spaseming left and right while she was still asleep.
"What the heck...?" She muttered.
She ran to the back and grabbed her by the shoulders.
"Yo! You okay? C'mon! Wake up!"
Suki let out a small groan.
"Yo! Wake up, sleepy head!"
Suki opened her eyes to see the girl towering over her, and uncomfortably staring.
"What...? Who are you?" Suki asked in a tired voice.
"Dude, you okay? You looked like you were having a seizure." The girl said, ignoring the question.
"I-I'm fine...um...who are you and why are you still touching me?" She said uncomfortably.
"Oh! Sorry about that!" She let go of Suki,"Haven't seen you around here before. Must be new. Well, allow me to introduce myself. The name's Kimi Kiyoshi, but you can call me Kim! I just transferred here a few weeks ago, and lemme tell ya; it's awesome here!"
Suki shook her hand, making Kimi's smile wider, but because of the mask, Suki couldn't tell.
"Suki. Suki Ichika. Pleasure to meet you." She said with a smile.
They shook hands.
"I like your eyes. They're so...bright. And you're hair...*gasps* It's so pretty!!" Kimi swooned.
Suki blushed. "Thank you...."
"Town's just up ahead. Why don't I walk you to where you're staying?"
Suki nodded.
Within seconds, the new girl becomes an interesting being.
How interesting.
But thank you to and for the awesome ideas and stories.
And also, I still gotta give props to who can write over 4,000 words and I can't even write 7. So props to Rand and all the people who write more than I do.
School-life & Swordfights: A Clubs and Stubs Tale
Warning: Clubs and Stubs contains strong language and situations throughout that may not be suitable for younger readers. "This story takes place in a fantasy world with a modernish setting. It mainly follows four students of Hardires High School who are members of one of the greatest Team Arena Squads in the history of gladiatorial school athletics. Already two-time high-school world champions, they have entered their fourth and final year of high school in hopes of capturing a third straight world championship—something that no other school on the continent has accomplished. As they prepare for an upcoming match with a rival school, it becomes evident that keeping their two-and-a-half-year winning streak alive will be tougher than expected. As both personal and external problems abound for the student-gladiators, can they manage to keep it together under the constant pressure of being the perfect fighting unit? A blend of action, drama, adventure, and humor collide in this brand-new series!" Thanks so much for checking out my story! This is the first time that I've released any of my work to a public space so any feedback, be it positive or negative (but please be respectful if so) would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping that this story is only the beginning of a long-running series of short stories set in the Clubs and Stubs universe. Temporary Book Cover Design by David Watson The release schedule is rather tentative, but the goal is to release a chapter every 2-4 days. I want to make sure that every scene is the best it can be before it’s released, so it may take a bit longer especially if it's a longer chapter. However, no chapter should take more than a week to be released. Each scene varies in length, but are usually between 1,000 to 2,000 words.
Campaign: A Project Starfarer Sidestory
This novel’s lore, story and characters are entirely fictitious. Certain long-standing countries, institutions, organizations, agencies, and public offices are mentioned, but their histories and the characters involved are wholly imaginary. "What will you do with your freedom?"Growing up in a meritocracy, infamous for being lawless, Jordan Astros had been repeatedly asked this question, since times unmemorable. In a society where one's accomplishments and skills were tallied and ranked in order to determine one's standard of living however, Jordan quickly grew to understand that 'freedom,' was a reward earned by accumulating Merit. And so, after his 17th birthday, Jordan departed his Clan's habitat in orbit of Europa to embark on his century-long journey to rise from E-Ranker to S-Rank. And spread his name throughout the Galilean Powers. *** Campaign is a sidestory within its NanoPunk parent series, Project Starfarer. (Yet to be published. Be on the lookout for it!) In which the first transhuman known to humanity, the Starfarer, invokes a plan to seed terrestrial life throughout the galaxy. Campaign takes place around the middle of that timeline and explores the life of a key figure in that universe, Jordan Astros. And explores one of four great nations thriving in the Solar System during that time. A Meritocracy that spans Jupiter and its 79 moons, The Galilean Powers. What you'll find in Campaign: Brutal melee combat in airless and pressurized low gravity environments. A technology based progression system influenced by merit and accomplishments; using tech that's theoretically possible to exist in the near-future. An exploratory perspective of the dozens of Galilean societies, or 'Powers,' from Jordans; and sometimes others', POV. What you wont find: Romance. Harems. An MC who receives shortcuts, handouts, learns things unnaturally fast or has OP plot armor. Jordan is not a special individual. Jordan is not OP and he likely never will be. He's no different than any other citizen in the Galilean Powers and will certainly face as many defeats as he does wins. He'll suffer losses and grow as an individual, while the Powers evolves around him as well. This is semi-hard sci-fi/NanoPunk and takes place in a fictional version of our future solar system. Centered around technology that's plausible in the near-centuries to come. Everything abides by the laws of physics/thermodynamics (As best that I understand them, at least. I'm no scientist.) No artificial gravity, inertial dampeners, teleportation, FTL, or hand-wavy materials will be found in the Project Starfarer universe. Just advanced automation, nanotechnology, cybernetics and AI. Set in the backdrop of space. *I do not own the photo used for the cover*
The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
