[Three years later]
No POV:
"To adventure Painty!" Lightbulb exclaimed, running through the school hallway.
"Lightbulb! Stop! You're gonna run into something!" Paintbrush called, running up behind her.
At that very moment, Lightbulb ran into a wall and hit the ground with a thud.
"Oof!"
"What did I tell you Lightbulb? You need to be more careful!" Paintbrush crossed their arms.
"Sorry Painty!" Lightbulb responded, rubbing her head.
Paintbrush helped Lightbulb up.
"Lets go find Fan!" Lightbulb cheerfully said.
"Alright." Paintbrush said with a small laugh, leading Lightbulb.
Eventually theu found Fan talking with Balloon and Nickel.
"Hey guys!" Paintbrush calledz waving them down.
Balloon, Fan, and Nickel looked up to see Lightbulb and Paintbrush.
They then approached them.
"Wait up!" A voice with a slight accent called from behind them.
Suitcase ran up from behind.
Suitcase ended up moving back and reuniting with Balloon.
She rushed to catch up with the others.
"Hey guys!" Suitcase said with a smile.
"Hi Suitcase!" Balloon said, giving her a big hug.
"Is that Suitcase? Whats up my Suitcase buddy!" Lightbulb chimed in.
Suitcase giggled.
"How have you guys been?" Paintbrush asked, holding Lightbulb up to prevent her from falling over.
"We've been good." Nickel said, "Balloon ran into a pole on the way to school though."
Nickel laugued and nudged Balloon a bit.
Balloon's face flushed redder than his normal redish color and he covered his face with his hands.
"It was an accident!" Balloon exclaimed.
"No need to be embarrassed Balloon, it happens to the best of us." Paintbrush said.
"Oh by the way! I made a blog for all of us!" Fan said, pulling out his phone to show everyone
"Oh! it looks cool!" Lightbulb exclaimed.

"You can't even see it Lightbulb." Paintbrush said.
Lightbulb laughed.
"I know, I'm so funny!"
Paintbrush snickered.
"We should ask the others if we could hang out today!" Nickel exclaimed. "Maybe Balloon, Suitcase, and I could watch a horror movie."
Nickel raised his eyebrows when he said that.
Suitcase and Balloon just stared at him.
"Oh come on guys you know I'm kidding." He laughed.
"But seriously we should hang out today."
"I'll text the others!" Fan said.
After Fan texted the others, they agreed to have a late night.
Eventually after a bit longer of talking, they all headed to their classes.
Things were much better in their lives now.
They didn't really have anything to worry about anymore.
Cobs had been charged with kidnapping and murder, and was sent to prison.
Lightbulb ended up becoming really popular and was always being crowded by people, but she didnt mind, she liked the company.
Paintbrush was pretty much Lightbulbs guardian now, they watched over her and made sure she was safe.
Fan became really popular online, and started a personal journal. He would often write about his experiences.
Balloon got used to only having one arm, and his leg was healed. He ended up gaining a lot of friends, and also became pretty popular at school.
Surprisingly, Taco also ended up enrolling at the school, and was one of the smartest students there.
The school was actually torn down and rebuilt somewhere else, where MePhone eventually became the principal and MePad became the vice principal.
Toilet was a councelor, and was suprisingly good at his job, despite not being the brightest at times.
They didnt do picture days anymore, instead they just had the students take photos of themself at home and send them in.

Unfortunately, nobody ever found a way to recover Test Tube.
It was hard, especially on Fan, but he was beginning to get better.
A memorial was created right in front of the school, and every year on the day Test Tube died, they would leave science equipment at the memorial, and have a "science day."
The other students who went through the kidnapping were doing better now, they were all friends with eachother.
Some of them still had to go through therapy, and some of them were left with PTSD, but for the most part, they were alright.
Paintbrush ended up starting an art club, and Lightbulb always came, despite not being able to see.
She enjoyed scribbling on paper though, it gave her something to do.
Fan would often come to take pictures of the artwork people made.
Mic and Pickel ended up becoming friends with Taco again, and Taco apologized for her past mistakes.
Taco jokes about tazers a lot and says she still has the old one.
Still, nobody knows how she got one in the first place.
Once school was over, everyone gathered together to go and hang out at Nickel's house.
Mic and Lightbulb played some board games, with help from Paintbrush of course, while Fan chatted with Balloon.
Suitcase and nickel sat down to watch a movie and the rest of the people just chatted, played games, and ate pizza.
"How's your arm doing?" Fan asked Balloon.
Balloon laughed a bit.
"It's doing fine Fan! Though last halloween, Nickel convinced me to scare some kids with a fake arm." Balloon smiled and kicked his feet.
"Did I win?" Fan heard Lightbulb say from the other side of the room.
Paintbrush glanced down at the game pieces scattered across the board, after Lightbulb insisted she tried on her own.
Mic glanced at Paintbrush, then gave a little nod.
"Uh, yeah! You did! Good job Lightbulb!" Paintbrush laughed nervously and gave Lightbulb a pat on the shoulder.
Lightbulb smiled and gave a little cheer.
Balloon and Fan laughed quietly, happy to see Lightbulb so full of joy again.
"Y'know, I never thought I would end up becoming friends with Nickel." Balloon said, looking back at Fan.
"We've made a lot of unexpected friendships after all this." Fan stated.
Balloon nodded.
Fan and Balloon sat silentlt for a bit.
"So, how have you been?" Balloon asked, giving Fan a little nudge.
Fan paused for a second.
"Well, I've been thinking about Test Tube a lot lately..." Fan said, looking at his feet, "It's been really hard without her."
Balloon gave a sympathetic smile.
"It's gonna be hard for a while, that's something you most likely will never get over, but over time, things will get better." Balloon said.
Fan smiled.
"Thanks Balloon."
After a while, it got dark, and everyone went their seperate ways.
Paintbrush was right.
Some of the pain never would go away.
The memories will still linger.
The scars wont dissapear.
But things were getting better.
Even though it was hard.
They were free...
...and they were together.

(Sorry the last chapter was kinda rushed, and sorry how short this one was, this one was short because its more of just a closing to the book, BUT there will be one last bonus chapter! It is also going to be kinda short, but I feel like it will be a good ending to the series. Thank you all so much for reading!)

HIVE - LOCKED UP IN SPACE
Somewhere in the vast universe, an alternate reality to what we know.. which occurs in the year 3016 where Earth has already made contact with other sentient beings of space and has become much more technologically advanced. Meet the good-for-nothing anti-social NEET Jasper. Let's just say that he was born under an unlucky star, being wrongfully incarcerated in the galaxy's most infamous private maximum security prison, home to serial killers and many cut-throat criminals. Will Casper be able to prove his innocence and adapt to the cruel and oppressive prison system and rise up the food chain? --------- Alright. Before I start off, this is going to be my first fiction. It could be dropped anytime and there might be random hiatus inbound. This fiction is basically a first draft~ish.(?) So please pardon my two-dimensional characters or my shitty grammar or poor use of descriptive words in this fiction. Doing this purely for fun and it's going to stay that way. Let's take this step by step alright? [There isn't really a set in stone plot drafted so it might flop after a bunch of chapters lmao] Reviews with constructive criticism are appreciated, I will try my best to improve as we go along.
8 196Path of the Stonebreaker
Femira spent her life stealing scraps and looting corpses just to survive another day. When she stumbles upon the chance to steal another's identity, she thinks she's found the ticket to an easy life. But she soon finds the glamour of the runewielder's hall hides as much peril as the bloodslick streets. Can she steal the greatest prize of all, the knowledge to reshape the earth, and make it out alive? Abandoned by his abusive father at the far reaches of the world, Daegan may not have the powers of his ancestors but he refuses to die in banishment. Will he make it back home in time to prevent a brewing war? ------------------- This is a gritty drama-driven, rambling tale that presents mysteries early on that the characters work to unravel throughout the story. It swings between action, drama, and sometimes some darker comedy. Warning: A whole lot of profanity, alcohol, drugs, implied violence, actual violence and mega-violence—the kind that involves knives sliding into eye sockets and brains spilling onto floors—the usual stuff, scenes of intimacy, mercenaries, pirates, lots of moral ambiguity, including a wizard that likes to make tea with the heat sucked from his victim's bodies and a heap of world-ending monsters ready to eat people. _______________ Expectations: Updates every Monday and Thursday. Chapters will be between 2,000 and 5,000 words. I'm Irish and write in "Irish English" which is to say that I don't use much of the letter "z"
8 104Undying Lairs: A LitRPG web novel series
Chris Able is as risk-averse as they come after losing his job with the Atlanta PD and his recent divorce. So he looks forward to a weekend of safe, table-top gaming with his old college friends in the beautiful North Georgia mountains.Instead, he’s pulled into a dank, monster-infested fantasy dungeon, where his survival depends on mastering the skills, magic, and personality of the player character he’s possessing. At least his friends are with him, but in the bodies of their own player characters. And none of them know how they got there.Chris soon learns that to get home, he and his friends must do the impossible – defeat a god-like being at the center of the dungeon that knows far too much about their Earthly lives. It’s not the weekend a guy with anxiety issues needs. The Undying Lairs series is a LitRPG web novel. It starts with book one, THE TOMB OF ANGELUS. You'll notice "B1" in front of the first 35+ chapters, which means those chapters are part of "Book 1." When book one ends, "B2" will begin, and so on throughout the series. I know how the series ends, but getting the characters from here to there is the fun part. :-) Starting March 22, 2022, chapter releases are 4 pm ET Tuesdays and Thursdays.
8 183Free Your Mind
A journey through the mind can be a mixture of the good, the bad, the pure, and the evil. Free Your Mind is a collection of poems and short stories that I've written over the years. As of now, this book is still in progress, but I've planned to release at least 25 to 30 chapters minimum for Free Your Mind. Hopefully you enjoy reading through the works already published for this book, and I hope you'll stick around for what's to come in the future. If you have any comments, ideas, critiques, etc. please let me know! I'm always open to what people have to say about my work. Free Your Mind is a way for me to dabble into releasing my writings for the public to read. And hopefully, if all goes decent with this book, I'll continue to upload different works alongside this. Note: Currently the cover work for Free Your Mind isn't mine. I plan to upload an original design once I've completed the chapters for this book.
8 146Campaign: A Project Starfarer Sidestory
This novel’s lore, story and characters are entirely fictitious. Certain long-standing countries, institutions, organizations, agencies, and public offices are mentioned, but their histories and the characters involved are wholly imaginary. "What will you do with your freedom?"Growing up in a meritocracy, infamous for being lawless, Jordan Astros had been repeatedly asked this question, since times unmemorable. In a society where one's accomplishments and skills were tallied and ranked in order to determine one's standard of living however, Jordan quickly grew to understand that 'freedom,' was a reward earned by accumulating Merit. And so, after his 17th birthday, Jordan departed his Clan's habitat in orbit of Europa to embark on his century-long journey to rise from E-Ranker to S-Rank. And spread his name throughout the Galilean Powers. *** Campaign is a sidestory within its NanoPunk parent series, Project Starfarer. (Yet to be published. Be on the lookout for it!) In which the first transhuman known to humanity, the Starfarer, invokes a plan to seed terrestrial life throughout the galaxy. Campaign takes place around the middle of that timeline and explores the life of a key figure in that universe, Jordan Astros. And explores one of four great nations thriving in the Solar System during that time. A Meritocracy that spans Jupiter and its 79 moons, The Galilean Powers. What you'll find in Campaign: Brutal melee combat in airless and pressurized low gravity environments. A technology based progression system influenced by merit and accomplishments; using tech that's theoretically possible to exist in the near-future. An exploratory perspective of the dozens of Galilean societies, or 'Powers,' from Jordans; and sometimes others', POV. What you wont find: Romance. Harems. An MC who receives shortcuts, handouts, learns things unnaturally fast or has OP plot armor. Jordan is not a special individual. Jordan is not OP and he likely never will be. He's no different than any other citizen in the Galilean Powers and will certainly face as many defeats as he does wins. He'll suffer losses and grow as an individual, while the Powers evolves around him as well. This is semi-hard sci-fi/NanoPunk and takes place in a fictional version of our future solar system. Centered around technology that's plausible in the near-centuries to come. Everything abides by the laws of physics/thermodynamics (As best that I understand them, at least. I'm no scientist.) No artificial gravity, inertial dampeners, teleportation, FTL, or hand-wavy materials will be found in the Project Starfarer universe. Just advanced automation, nanotechnology, cybernetics and AI. Set in the backdrop of space. *I do not own the photo used for the cover*
8 249Riverdale Village
You are a mage leading a team of B-Ranked adventurers. Every B-Ranked Adventurer Party is given a test to determine whether or not they're worthy of being graded A-Rank. The Guild Master issues you the test. In Riverdale Village, there is a great fiend attempting to resurrect a powerful demon... You must investigate the town, find the villain and his conspirators and thwart their plot! How will you do so? Will you work with the town, who may or may not be conspirators, or go at it with your team alone? Use your judgement and logic to determine the best path to proceed and deliver justice upon the villains! (This is a choose-your-own adventurer theme fiction. I've browsed the site fairly well... But have yet to encounter this genre. If you do know of one here, do tell me. That aside, this novel is still incomplete... This is just to show that I'm not dead yet, nor have I given up.)
