《Snatched》Chapter 10

"Excuse you my good sir, that just happens to be my school and I would appreciate it if you could move yourself so I can get in."
The media were crowding the front gates to UA and you were trying to push pass them to get inside. The man who you were addressing immediately turned to you, as did everyone around him.
"What is All Might like in a classroom setting?"
"How does All Might handle teaching and still doing hero work?"
"Is All Might a good teacher?"
You were bombarded with questions from every reporter you could see.
I can't believe this, I just need to get inside before I'm late.
"All right people I'll tell you this one thing..."
They all leaned closer pushing there microphones towards you in anticipation.
"Get the out of my way before I fucking blow your heads off."
The looks on their faces were priceless.
You smiled sweetly as they hustled out of the way, they didn't know what your quirk was so they just had to believe that you would, in fact, blow their heads off.
Bruh, that was too easy.
You walked trough the gate and hurried to get to class, you were running late due to a paperwork hold up at the hospital.
The thought of your class knowing about your quirk was still fresh in your mind but you had made a plan.
I just won't recognize that it could be the quirk of a villain. As long as I don't put the idea in their heads they won't think it. I've got this
You gave yourself a final moment to prepare and opened the door of your classroom.
...
"Y/n!"
Everyone rushed towards you.
"You were so manly during training!"
"I'm so sorry we couldn't see you in the hospital!"
"You have to try my quirk, I'll finally have someone to talk to about it!"
"How are you feeling?"
"Why didn't you tell us your quirk is so cool!"
"Yeah you can stop so many villains with it!"
You were frozen by the people around you, their rapid fire comments reminded you of the media outside. You did have to admit this was much better than the press.
"Hello to you guys too."
Shota interrupted your reunion. "Alright everybody, your social time is up, sit down."
Everyone scurried to their seats and you couldn't help but let a huge smile stay on your face due to your welcome.
I really misjudged them t
"Good work on your training the other day, over the weekend, I wen't over the video feed and reviewed everyone's results. Bakugo, you're talented, so don't sulk like a child about your loss."
Wait, we won?
You looked over to Izuku for confirmation and he nodded.
Well I guess I did capture Iida and the match didn't really go as planned, so we won by default.
You teacher continued.
"Y/n, you really put yourself out there by using Iida's quirk without having any experience with it, it turned out well in this case, but keep in mind you won't always be that lucky."
Is he really not going to mention how I yeeted myself into the middle of a battle?

You waited for him to continue but he was already talking to other students.
Guess not, yes I'm off the hook!
Aizawa finished giving everyone their feedback and addressed the class as a whole.
"Let's get down to business, our first task will decide your futures."
Everybody tensed, is it another quirk test?
...
"You all need to pick a class representative."
"That's a little underwhelming." you muttered
"Pick me guys! I wanna be class rep!" Kirishima blurted out
"I'll take it!" Kaminari added
"Yeah, your going to need me." Jiro raised her hand
Almost everyone started yelling.
"Silence everyone!" Iida shouted. "The class representative's duty is to lead others, it's not something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom."
Oh wow, Sonic is really stepping up.
"Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically, we will hold an election to choose our leader."
"I second that." you agreed with Iida."It makes the most sense to decide this way, then we will know who really should be in charge because most people will vote for themselves."
***
After everyone had put their votes in, it was time to see who the class 1-A rep would be. You had trouble picking between Momo and Iida but had gone with Iida in the end because you had a feeling he would be best for the job.
The class eagerly searched the results displayed on the board and your moth dropped open.
"I am confusion."
Your name was at the top of the list with four votes followed by Momo who had three. "How exactly did that happen?"
"You were amazing in the training Y/n, I think our class would benefit from having such a strong and kind representative."
Well Momo voted for me
"Alright, Y/n is the class representative and the deputy is Yaoyorozu." Your teacher finalized the results by announcing them to the class.
Whyyyyyy
You were happy that your class was content to have you as a leader, the only issue was that you were way to lazy to deal with an entire group of crazy people and you had a feeling a certain blue haired boy would be a better fit for the job.
I'll have to do something about this.
***
At lunch you sat with Shoto, Izuku, Uraraka and Iida. The latter of whom seemed pretty calm considering the results of the vote.
"Hey guys, I don't think that I'm really cut out for the whole class rep thing so Iida I was wondering if-"
"Y/n, don't say such things, you will make a great leader, your quick thinking in emergencies and ability to adapt to different situations make you more than cut out for the job. That is why I gave you my vote."
"Iida, why would you do that! I know how much you wanted to be class rep, which is why I was thinking that-"
"Wanting a job and being suited for it are very different things, serving the Iida family's hero agency has taught me that much."
"Listen Iida, you really need to stop interrupting me I'm trying to-"
You green haired friend spoke up "Hold on what does your family do?"

You threw your hands up in the air dramatically.
"I can't, I just can't Shoto are you seeing this?" you exasperatedly looked over to your friend to see he was ignoring the whole conversation and quietly eating his soba.
You face palmed and decided to just wait until you were in class to tell Iida your idea.
"You see, the Iida's have been pro heroes for generations, it runs in our blood."
"What that's awesome!" Izuku and Uruaka exclaimed in unison.
"Are the three of you familiar with the turbo hero Ingenium?"
Oh that makes sense, that's where his costume inspo came from.
"He is my elder brother!" Iida exclaimed proudly. "As the second oldest Iida son, I strive to be just like him. However, I think it might be a bit soon for me to be In a real leadership role."
"That's the first time I've seen you smile Tenya, you should do it more."
You laughed at Uraraka's bluntness.
"I agree, you look so hero-like when you get exited!" you added
Iida shook his head "The only person who has showed real hero qualities thus far is you Y/n, when you saved Midoriya from Bakugo's blast during training."
Your face darkened "That's right, when I saved Midoriya in training..."
Izuku froze his face white as a sheet "Oh no, Iida you've really done it now."
You stood up, slamming your hands on the table. " Izuku Moidriya! I let you off the hook for a while but now that Iida has reminded me-"
The entire lunch hall was filled with a blaring alarm effectively cutting you off.
"COME ON CAN I NOT GET ONE SENTENCE IN!"
"Warning, level three security breach. Students please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion."
The robotic voice gave everyone instructions to be orderly, but the students paid it no mind as they pushed and shoved to get out of the school.
Your group rushed into the halls along with everyone else, Shoto suddenly alert and holding tightly to your arm so you wouldn't get pulled away by the flow of people.
"Stay close!" he instructed over the screams of other students.
"I'm trying!" you yelled back
Against both of your best efforts you got ripped out of his grasp and swept away through the mob of panicky people.
"Hey! Ow! Could you possibly not?"
You tripped over your own feet and fell to the ground instinctively covering your neck so it didn't get stepped on. You tried your best to stand up but were pushed back down immediately.
This is fine, ow, I'm fine, fuck.
You couldn't hear anything over the shouts of students and all you could see were peoples feet coming dangerously close to your face.
Your ears began to ring and you started hyperventilating, you could feel a panic attack coming on.
Suddenly you felt a tug on the back of your shirt as you were pulled up from the ground.
"Hey, are you okay?" a tall boy with unruly purple hair looked at you worriedly.
"Uhm, nope, I don't, think so." you managed through gasps.
The both of you were still being violently jostled by the people around you.
The boy looked around quickly and then pulled you towards the wall. With your back up against the wall, he put his arms on either side of your head and used his body as a barricade.
"Don't worry, I heard glasses over there say it was just the press, this will all be over in a moment."
To other people, the position you were in might look a little... interesting, but for you, the small amount of space, was exactly what you needed to calm down. After a few moments of heavy breathing you were composed enough to speak above the shouts of students.
"Whats your name?"
"Hitoshi Shinso. You?"
"Just Y/n."
Suddenly you heard a voice louder than the yells of everyone else.
"Listen up! Everything is okay!" you looked over Shinso's arm to see Iida standing above the exit. "It's just the media outside! There is absolutely nothing to worry about! We are UA students, we need to remain calm and prove that we are the best of the best!"
"See I told you, we're all good."
You sighed, grateful for the commotion to have stopped.
"Thanks Shinso, you really saved me back there. What class are you in again?"
The boy looked to the side as if ashamed, "I'm in general studies."
"What's wrong? There isn't anything wrong with general studies or the people in it." you smiled up at him punching him lightly on the arm, which still rested above your head, "You were just more heroic than any of the hero course kids who basically just walked all over me!"
He sent you a smile back, something that you could tell was a rare occurrence but his expression suddenly twisted to one of embarrassment.
Now that the commotion had stopped, people were standing around the two of you whispering among themselves at your compromising position.
"Sorry." he said backing away his cheeks dusted pink.
"Nah bro you good." you assured him
He brought a hand to the back of his neck and look as if he were about to speak when he was interrupted by a shout.
"Y/n! Are you okay!?"Izuku asked worriedly as he, Iida and Shoto ran up to you.
"Yeah, don't worry I'm fine, Shinso here saved me from being trampled." You taped his shoulder with your head to show your friends who you were referring to.
"I must thank you for keeping our friend safe." Iida bowed to thank the purple haired boy.
"Yeah thanks!" Izuku added
Shoto simply nodded.
"Okay? I'm going back to my class, bye Y/n."
"Thanks again Shinso, it was nice meeting you!" you called to him as he walked away.
You turned back to your group whipping your hair around, aggressively and pointed at Iida. "You, my friend, will be the class rep. No if's and's or but's. I was trying to tell you at lunch but you kept interrupting me and your stunt just now proved my hypothesis right. You are the best person to lead our class, period."
You blurted out you little speech quickly for fear of being interrupted again.
Iida looked shocked.
"Y/n I couldn't-"he started
"Ah!"
"I'm not able to-"
"Nope!"
"I really-"
"shhh!"
"Listen I-"
"uh uh uh!"
"Fine!" he yelled making those who were lingering in the halls look towards him. "I am honored that you have appointed me this position and I will do my best to lead our class to greatness!"
"Save the speech for when everyone is here class rep." you laughed.
