《My Ex Husband》CHAPTER 10 - MOMMY

I heard yelling downstairs which woke the girls up. We walked downstairs to find Aislinn quarrelling with Mariah and Danica.
"You are a sad excuse of a mother and a wife" Danica said.
"Go on enlighten me. Something I haven't heard but before you tell me I'm a sad excuse of a wife I should probably enlighten you on something because no wife in the right state of mind will leave her sick husband and travel across the world to Paris for a stupid fashion show. So Danica if I'm a sad excuse of a wife then you are a pathetic excuse of a wife but then what did I expect from my mother replacement" Aislinn said. Ouch!
"Whoo are you trying to be brave here? A whore who left her daughter?" Mariah asked.
"Am I a mirror that you keep calling me a whore every time you look at my face? Don't test me Mariah before I say something you might not like and I have one last thing for you. Go have a child to feed all those nonsense your mother fed you when you were a kid. What can I say like mother like daughter and if you think you can replace my mom in anyway you are wrong my father only married you because he felt pity on a homeless woman and her sick daughter" Aislinn said.
"Why you? I am going to teach you a lesson" Danica said raising her hand to slap Aislinn.
"Hey don't touch my mommy" my eyes widened. Alessia just called Aislinn her mother.
Alessia run over and pushed Aislinn making her almost fall when she run to hug Mariah. I should have known.
"Mommy Aislinn" Ezlynn said going over to Aislinn.
"Mommy Aislinn are you hurt?" She asked.
"No I'm okay Ezzy thank you" Aislinn said.

"Poor you. Your own daughter doesn't like you" Danica said.
"And do I look like I care? If she doesn't like me that is her own problem at least I have a daughter who appreciates me" Aislinn said and I looked at Alessia who wanted to cry. It's her own fault.
"I hate you Aislinn" Alessia said.
"The feeling is mutual" Aislinn said and Alessia glared at her.
"Mariah leave my daughter" I said and Mariah looked at me.
"Why? You want to separate a mother from her daughter?" Mariah asked with a smirk and I yanked Alessia from her hold.
"This is the last time I'm telling you this. Don't get close to my daughter again" I said.
"But Dad" Alessia said.
"But Dad nothing. You are acting like a spoilt brat" I said and Alessia glared at me.
"Darius don't treat her like that" Aislinn said.
"You better listen to your whore" Alessia said.
"That's it we are going home and we will have a talk" I said.
"Darius where are you going?" Mom asked.
"We're going I need to teach Alessia a lesson" I said.
"What has she done and this is the first time I'm hearing you say this" Mom said.
"She has been really disrespectful to Aislinn and me. She needs learn lesson" I said.
"Don't you think you are being hard on her?" Mom asked.
"Yes why don't you listen to your mother"
"Teach her some lessons she will never forget" Mom said after hearing that statement.
“yes my father said to be here around midnight. Can you bring along with you some spy microphones?”
What will she need spy microphones for?
“okay thank you I'll be expecting you”
"You're leaving?" Aislinn asked.
"Yes" Alessia said glaring at Aislinn.
"Good I didn't want you here anyway" Aislinn said and I know that hurt Alessia. I know Aislinn is hurting so bad and it's all my fault and it's clear she is only acting like this to get Alessia back.

"Bye" Alessia said getting in the car.
"Goodbye Aislinn" I said and she nodded walking inside.
"What is wrong with you Alessia?" I asked when we got home.
"Nothing leave me alone" she said trying to walk away but I yanked her back.
"Let me go Dad you're hurting me" she said.
"Sit down we need to talk" I said.
"Don't make me repeat myself Alessia" I said and she sat down.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked.
"Tell me the truth" I added.
"Nothing let me go" she said.
"No tell me" I said.
"No let me go Darius" she said.
"Good. Go to your room" I said.
"Dad" she said.
"I said go to your room Alessia" I said and she run off.
This is all my fault. Fuck. I messed up big time. Alessia hates Aislinn because of me. I wish I never cheated on Aislinn then we would have been really happy together.
‘ “Linn” I called.
“Mmm” she answered.
“I can't sleep” I said.
“But I can” she murmured softly and I chuckled pulling her closer
“Please” I said and she knew what I mean.
“Please let me sleep we'll make it double tomorrow” she said.
“What about now and double tomorrow” I suggested kissing her neck.
“Mmm” she moaned
“Please” I said.
“Fine but you owe me” she said and I nodded crashing my lips on hers’.
Now that I remember she never took what I owed her. She might have forgotten about it.
I went into my office and did some work.
Guess it was getting pretty obvious.
I looked into my file cabinet and saw a paper I never wanted to see.
Certificate of divorce. Looking at it just brings back memories. Aislinn's signature was on it boldly under her name.
There is something Aislinn doesn't know and I'm afraid to tell her because she might hate me for the rest of my life. I really want her back in my life but if she finds this out I doubt she will be.
There's one thing she doesn't know and that is we were never divorced.
