Rose's POV;

Once I said his name I saw something flicker in his eyes I don't know what but I knew that he would protect me forever. Matt slowly walked over to the twins and me, and he still had no emotion showing on his face. Once he was almost nose to nose with me he held out his arms with hope in his eyes almost like he thought that I would reject his arms. I spread my arms out and he picked me up into a big brotherly hug that gave me so much love that I started crying again. Once I started crying Matt quickly looked over me to see if I was hurt. This little act of kindness made me cry more.

"Hey, hun why are you crying?" Luke asked. Ace and Adem look concerned, while Matt looks really mad that I was crying.

"I-i-it is happy t-tears," I say between sniffles.

"WHY IS OUR SISTER CRYING!??" said a man at the top of the stairs with a really loud voice that echoed off the walls. The loud sound made me really scared which made me hold on to Matt really tight. Matt tightened his arms around me and walked out of the living room making his way over to the kitchen. While we were walking away I heard whispers from the living room, the twins must be telling that man what happened. A sniffle leaves my nose and I tighten my arms around Matt's neck. We reach the kitchen and I was awestruck.

The Kitchen;

"What???!!" I say in a small voice. Matt's head turns toward me when I finally speak and he cracks a small smile, so small that if you were not looking for it you would not see it. While still holding me against his chest he takes some red fruit out of the fridge. I look at it suspiciously, what is that?? I have only had a few fruits before and all of those were blue and green.

"w-what is t-that?" I ask quietly so that he doesn't get annoyed with my voice that I can't seem to pronounce anything. Matt looks at me in the eyes and I see confusion swirling around.

"Strawberries," Matt says quietly. I have a feeling that he doesn't like to talk much.

"Does it taste g-good?" I ask. All Matt does is nod. He picked up a strawberry and washes it and then hands it to me, Matt watches me like a hawk. I looked at the fruit I hope it tastes good. I plop it into my mouth and once the strawberry hits my tongue my eyes open wide. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!

" WOW" I acclaim rather loud and I look up at Matt to see that he has a grin on his face like he is proud of himself.

"I really like strawberries can I have a lot more?" I ask excitedly swinging my legs.

Matt's POV;

I look down at my beautiful angel how could I say no to those eyes. I wash some more and give them to her one at a time making sure she doesn't choke. As she is nibbling at the strawberry I really look at my little sister. She is so precious and I promise that nobody will take her away from me ever again!!
