**Lockwood** (CLAIM THESE STARS!)

It was the day after I found the letter that I decided to go on a walk. Just to get out of the house.

I didn't really know where I was going, but anywhere was better than that house. I've lost too many people there. I could've saved all of those people, too. All of them, I miss. But, Lucy, I miss the most. I'm surprised I had been able to hold it in this long.

It was starting to get dark. I was walking along the muddy banks of the River Thames. How long had I been walking, I have no clue. I was about to turn around to go home when I heard some people talking just up ahead, so, like.the average person would do, I listened.to what they were saying.

**Lucy**

I had found Flo that morning. She was getting some food from the little cafe where I'd met her with Lockwood not that long ago.

Later that day, we were by the Thames and I told her what was going on. "Flo, I need help. I don't know what to do. No matter where I go, no matter what I do, I can't find them. I keep trying to stay positive. They can't be- dead!"

"You know what Locky's like. He wouldn't go that easy, would he?"

"I know, but they couldn't have survived that. I've not seen them anywhere. Flo, there's no point in arguing. They're- he's..."

**Lockwood**

I crouched behind a broken wall. I could tell there were two people, two girls. "Flo, I need help. I don't know what to do. No matter where I go, no matter what I do, I can't find them. I keep trying to stay positive. They can't be- dead!" Wait, Flo's there?

"You know what Locky's like. He wouldn't go that easy, would he?"

"I know, but they couldn't have survived that. I've not seen them anywhere. Flo, there's no point in arguing. They're- he's..." I recognized that voice. I felt like all the joy in the world had been given to me. It was her. She was alive. Wait, she thought I was dead! I stood up and walked behind her. "Very much alive."
