"Scott!" She cried softly, as she threw her arms around him. "I-I thought you were dead, or a-!" She then furrowed her brows, as she studied his face. Angela then felt around his neck, nothing. Thank God!
"You thought I was what Angela?" He asked.
Angela shook her head, as she felt relieved. There were no signs of him being under mind control.
"Some of the tarantulas are able to control human by attaching themselves to their victims neck." She explained. "I just wanted to make sure you weren't one of them.
"Hey, hey, it's okay." He whispered, as he returned her embrace. He then began to gently start rubbing her back. With that she completely lost it, and began sobbing endlessly into his chest.
"I'm here now." He whispered. "I am not under a spider's mind control. I promise you, everything is going to be alright."
"I just want to go home!" She cried.
"Don't worry." He whispered in her ear. "I promise I will get you where you need to be."
"Sc-scott." She cried. "Please don't hate me."
"Hey." He replied. "If I hated you, I wouldn't be here. Where are the others?"
As soon as he asked she began to cry. How was he going to react when she told him?
"This-thing." She began. "Their king, he's only half human. Image a centaur, but with a spider's body instead of a horse. Some of his followers turned Zoe and Cara into creatures like him. Then Cara and Zoe seduced Bobby, and, and—they ate him. Then their king, I guess he was the son of the woman who owned the gas station, he—I can't even say it!"
"He what?" Asked Scott with a concerned look upon his face.
"He raped me!" She cried.
"Oh my god!" Cried Scott. I had not idea, I'm so sorry."
"For what?" she asked. "It's not your fault."
"I-I should have kept a better eye on you, I guess." He replied. "I never in my wildest dreams thought this could ever happen. Come on. I've got to get you to safety, someplace where you will never be afraid like this again." Scott then took her hand, as he lead them through the caverns. The entire place was a massive labyrinth. How were they going to find their way out of there?
After awhile their attempted escape seemed to becoming more and more improbable. Anxiety and panic began to engulf Angela. They just couldn't get caught. It would mean a death sentence for Scott, and her fate would be that of Cara and Zoe.

"Quick!" Whispered Scott. "Let's hide in here. I think we need to stop, and get our bearings straight." With that they ducked into a small dark area of the cavern.
"I think it'll be safe in here." He said reassuringly.
"Listen Scott." Angela as tears welled up in her eyes. "If they catch us, I just want you to run. They're after me, not you. Just get out of here and get help. Don't worry about me. Save yourself, and let the local authorities know about what is going on. I love you, Scott. I can't stand the thought of you and Bobby sharing the same fate. Plus, the horror of what's happening here has to be known. That, above all, is more important than me."
He smiled at her, and cupped her chin. As he did so he began to caress her cheek.
"You don't have to worry about me, Angela." He told her. "No one down here is going to hurt me. And trust me, no one is more important than you. You have no idea how important you really are to me. I've waited along time for this moment. When I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one. You might have never known it but any man could easily fall in love with you. That's why I chose you, I knew you'd be perfect."
As she stared into his eyes, as sinister smile appeared on his face. Angela began to feel nervous, something was obviously not quite right. As she began to panic, she started run. But he grabbed her, and turned her around. She was no longer facing him, but she tried to free herself from his tight grip. Yet as hard as she tried, it was to no avail.
"Scott?" She cried. "What's going on?"
"I'm sorry, Angela." Scott said as he whispered in her ear. "I would be lying if I tried to tell you that I hadn't actually fallen in love with you. I'd also be lying if I tried to tell you that this wasn't the hardest decision I ever had to make. But it would be selfish of me to deny you of your destiny, or your glory. Plus my loyalty to my grandfather far outweighs my love for you. After all, you belong to him, not me."
"Oh my god!" She cried. "Grandfather! W-what are you talking about?"
"Very good, Scott." A familiarly terrify voice began to say. "You have always been a loyal follower of the Drider goddess. Much more that your father had. And where he failed, you have succeeded."

Out of nowhere, the drider king made his way out of the shadows.
"W-what the hells going on?" Cried Angela.
"Come now my dear." Said the drider king. "Did you really think it was just a coincidence, that the perfect woman for me just happened to show up? I needed someone to find her."
"You mean Scott?" She asked. "H-he's your grandson? I don't understand. How?"
"I never found my perfect queen, to claim as my bride." He explained. "But I was hardly a virgin. Back in high school, before I became one of Lolth's followers, I had fling with a local girl. It resulted in her becoming pregnant, nine months later she gave birth to Scott's father. The baby's mother had no idea that I was a part of my son's life. She didn't know it, but I used to visit my son in his dreams."
"How?" She asked. "How is that even possible?"
"Because," he replied. "Both my son, and my grandson inherited my voodoo powers."
With her back still facing him, she turned her head slightly towards Scott.
"You have voodoo powers?" She asked.
"Of course." He replied. "How else was everything able fall right into place? Little things, like the rental car company forgetting to include the spare tire. Or causing Zoe to feel the need to use the restroom when we came close to my Great grandmother's place. And don't forget, it was my suggestion to come here for vacation in the first place."
"And of course my spider soldiers sabotaging the car." The drider king laughed.
"Yes grandfather." Said Scott. "I must admit I was impressed. I didn't realize they could be so talented with their web shooting abilities. Even that surprised me."
"Why Scott?" She cried. "How could you? Look what they did to Bobby and Alan! Look what they did Cara and Zoe! "Look what's he's going to do to me!"
"I cared about them, and I care about you." He replied. "But family loyalty come first. Perhaps Alan and Bobby's fates turned tragic. But Cara and Zoe are now blessed, and soon you shall be too."
"NO!" She cried. "I don't want to be a part of this!"
The drider king slowly made his way over to her, and cupped her chin.
"As I told you earlier my dear." He said. "You don't have a say in this. Do you have any idea how many years I've waited for you. My followers couldn't find my perfect mate. Of course soon afterwards, my own mother defeated me in battle. Many of my followers were killed. And their children, my now spider soldier, were cursed as I was. Fortunately my mother didn't know about my son, or that I was communicating with him. When he became an adult, he also tried to find a bride for me, but failed. Of course he had no trouble finding a wife for himself."
"He was your son." Said Angela. "Why wouldn't you want him to find love?"
"Because!" The drider king replied anger as he released is grip on her. "He wasn't supposed to be looking for a bride for himself, he was supposed to looking for one for me! So, once Scott was born, his selfish father was no longer needed. He was eliminated."
"Oh my god!" She cried. "You killed your own son?"
"He was expendable." The drider king replied. "Besides, once I found my queen, I could always make more. Plus I now had Scott to help me."
"And I wasn't going to be as selfish, and disloyal as my father." Scott Replied. The drider king looked at Angela, and smiled. Once again he cupped her chin.
"You see my dear songbird, you can't run." He cooed. "This is your destiny. You were always meant to be mine. Scott knew it, that's why he brought you here. It would be so much easier if you would just except that fact."
With that he ripped what remained of her tattered dress oof of her body. Angela screamed in terror. Once again she was completely naked. As he continued to to smile at her, his fangs began to descend from his teeth. She squirmed as she tried to get away, but Scott's grip was too tight.
"NO!" Cried Angela. "Scott! Please! If you really love me, please let me go."
"I'm sorry Angela." He told her, "But this is for the best."
"Don't worry my dear." Said the drider king. "It will only hurt for a second." Soon after Angela felt a sharpe pain in her neck as she cried out its pain. She could then feel his venom entering her body. Her body soon became relaxed as it entered her blood stream.
Fear was soon replaced with a feeling of intoxicating euphoria. With that she started slipping into unconsciousness. As the darkness began to take over her body, she heard the drider king whispering in her ear as she fell into a deep sleep.
"That's right my angelic songbird, take in my essence. When you wake up, you will be my perfect drider goddess."
