《Animalistic Desires》TCHS Part 15

"How is this possible?", asked the Naga King in both shock, and anger.
"Not the warm welcome, that I had been hoping for," replied Agan, "Didn't you miss me—brother?"
"Why are you here?" The Naga King asked. "Why now? Why after all this time do you come back now?"
"To claim wha is rightfully mine." Agan replied. My kingdom..." He then looked towards Hailey.
"...and my queen."
"Sorry—brother!" The Naga King growled. "Both are mine, and I am not giving up either one of them. I have done everything father has asked of me. The lamia is my reward. I will soon breed her, and are children will help conquer the world. Ever since the war with the humans thousands of years ago, father became angry with mankind. World domination is his desire, not just mine."
"Oh I know what father wants," replied Agan. "But not with you as king. He has never forgiven you for murdering me, your own brother in cold blood. You remember, when you slit my throat from behind. Such cowardice brother. But what angered me was the look of terror on my beloved's face. See, I lived for a few seconds after you did it. I saw the look of horror in her eyes, and heard her scream in anguish as my blood spilled upon her."
"Well then," said the Naga King, "You shouldn't have been in human form. As you know, only we are able are able to kill one another. But only if one of us is in his true naga form, while the other has taken the embodiment of a human, or a snake. But it was you who showed cowardice. You were breeding her in human form so that your offspring wold be human. That why you could continue to break your own treaty, and the human's wouldn't suspect a thing if she had given birth to a child that was your's."
"Why are you rehashing information that I already know?", asked Agan.
"Maybe I want my lamia—my queen to know the truth!", exclaimed the Naga King. "I think she has the right to know just how invincible, or how vulnerable we really are." He then turned his attentions towards Hailey. She had a look of confusion in her eyes. Her body kept trembling is his arms. He wanted to comfort her, knowing that she must have been extremely confused. After all, he was.
"Don't worry my dear," he cooed. "I won't let him take you from me. It is too late for him to try anyway. You are my queen, and soon to be the mother of my children."
"Yes dear brother," said Agan. "about that. Technically you may be joined to her in what the human's refer to as a marriage. However, the curse has not been broken. I'm afraid that neither one of us can conceive with her, as of now."
"What are you talking about?", the Naga King asked in confusion. "The curse was said to be broken, when the Naga King finds a bride who willingly pledges herself and her love to him."
"Very true." Replied a smug Agan. "Willingly being the operative word, but see you forced her to do it. Her pledge to you wasn't sincere. You probably should have studied the prophecy a little better. Plus, you are no longer the Naga King. Since I have returned, that title belongs to me. So even if she had been sincere, we would still both be cursed. Neither one of us will be able to to impregnate anyone. Only when I fall in love, and have her sincerely pledge herself and her love to me, will the curse be broken. As you know, Hailey is the only woman for me."

"I will not fight you for the kingdom, brother.", the Naga King replied. "I have done my part, and maybe I just need a break from it all anyway. So have your kingdom. I will follow you as a loyal subject. And when you finally find the one who can break the curse, I will help you conquer mankind. But Hailey is mine! However when you finally do break the curse, making me able to breed with her, our children shall also be at your service. In the meantime, she and I will get plenty of practice."
"Hailey is the reincarnation of the tribal princess." Agan began. "It is the reason she and I fell in love, when we first looked into each other eyes—into each other's souls. It is also why you fell in love with her as well. But Hailey is my soulmate, not your's. Father has always promised her to me. Our love for one another is the only reason it was possible for my return."
"What do you mean father had always promised her to you?" Asked the Naga King. "When she was the tribal princess, she had been promised to a chieftain's son. That is why her father insisted that she be the only female in his tribe, to remain a virgin. Just like the males in her tribe were not allowed to touch her, none of the nagas were either." He then gave a sarcastic chuckle as he looked at Agan.
"You remember that treaty, don't you brother?", he asked Agan, "The treaty that you said I had to abide by, the one you broke yourself."
"Yes, I remember." Agan replied. "See after you killed me, father not only took my body—he took my soul. He was unhappy with me, that's why he kept me in limbo for thousands of years. But he could forgive me, for that, even though it indirectly lead to war with the human. But you see, you did the one thing he could never forgive. You killed your own brother in cold blood. If there was one thing he wouldn't tolerate it was one son killing another. And by the way, it was your action that brought about the war."
"How?", he asked Agan, "It was not I that broke the treaty. I was the one who honored it, even though I too fell in love with her. You're the one who took advantage of my loyalty, and pursued her yourself. Perhaps if I had been given a chance, she might have fallen for me instead."
"First of all, she despised you, " Agan replied. "even before that fateful night. Maybe you never acted upon your feelings, but your feelings were more that well known. The way you used to look at her, with amorous lust. She feared you, and your obsession with her. Her own cousin told her how she had been raped by you, and how you called her by my beloved's name as you were doing so."
"I couldn't have the woman I loved," he said to Agan in anger, "So I took the closest I could get. Needless to say, it was extremely disappointing."
"Is that why you almost beat her to death?", asked Agan.
"Oh my god!" Cried Hailey. She had been quiet the entire time, but even this revaluation couldn't keep her silent.
"Don't worry, my dear,"replied the Naga King. "I would never have hurt the actual princess, and I will never hurt you. I would kill anyone who would. That's why the Neanderthal, that almost raped you died first. I took great pleasure in doing so."

"Well I guess that's something we agree upon." Said Agan. " I would have killed him too."
"No, no please!" Cried Hailey. "Please, tell me your not like him? Tell me you're not just as cold hearted."
"Hailey," Agan began to say. He had tears in his eyes, as he reached out one of his four clawed hands towards her. The Naga King became angry, and pulled her back to him.
"NO!", he exclaimed to Agan. "SHE IS MINE!" "He then looked down at Hailey. "I can assure you my dear, my brother and I are cut from the same cloth. But it doesn't matter, maybe your vows didn't break the curse. However your vows makes you my bride—not his!"
"As I said before brother," replied Agan, "Father promised her to me. That night you caught us making love, she conceived a child—a boy. He would have been human, since I had been human at the time. No one knew, including her. I don't know if she still would have killed herself, if she had known the truth. I would say, probably. Knowing you you would have killed it."
"It would have been an abomination, and a bastard!" he told Agan.
"But he was my son!", Agan exclaimed. "Which means you were responsible for the death of two demigods! Her father didn't declare war because I broke the treaty. He declared war, because he was afraid of you claiming her against her will. So when you destroyed the village, and captured her alive, you tried to convince her to love you. But she hated you. She hated you for killing me, and blamed you for the death of her father, and most of her people. So she chose death over you."
"How the hell could you possibly know any of this?", he asked Agan.
"Because, as you perceived earlier," Agan began to explain. "Father did take her soul, and he did hold on to it until it could be released at the right moment. He did so to coincide with use being reunited. You see brother, even though I didn't realize who I was until just now. It wasn't I, who was the puppet, it was you."
"If that is the case." He began to ask Agan. "Then why send you back as a human, who had no idea who you really were? Why didn't he just send you back as your naga self? Then you could have taken human form, and and then looked for Hailey."
"Well for one thing, my body was dead.", Agan replied. "Also, father didn't want to make it that easy for me. He felt I did deserve some penance for breaking the treaty. After all, it did make me indirectly responsible for the war that killed so many humans and nagas. That is also why he took the nagins, and cursed the nagas. He felt we should all pay for letting apart of his sacred kingdom be destroyed. Would you like to know where he got the human body that housed my soul for over thirty years?"
"If you must tell me.", he said to Agan as he kept holding Hailey closed to him.
"It was the body, of my dead son." Agan replied. I was what he would of looked like, if he had been given the chance to live. Even this face that I have now, it's a reminder of what you have taken away form me. And now, I'm going to take back what belongs to me. My kingdom, and my queen. Father's plan will go ahead with conquering the Earth. But Hailey shall be my Eve, not yours!"
"How could you want to do that?", Hailey cried. "You lived as human all this time, how could you want to destroy us?"
"My dearest Hailey.", Agan replied. "I am not going to destroy anyone, especially you. You are going to be my queen. And every living thing on this planet, including myself, will worship you as the goddess you truly are. I've seen the horrors that mankind has created. Humanity needs a father, and a mother, to correct the beast that man has become. I'm not going to destroy mankind, I'm going to make it better. Those who survive our invasion, the ones that are worthy, will be bred to help repopulate the earth with nagas and nagins. And you my dear, the soon to be earth mother, will help to shape a better world. You will be the only human left in the world. Father could change you into a nagin, but I don't want that. You are perfect as you are. Best of all, we shall finally be together my love."
"NO!", she cried. "I will not be your Eva Brahms! I don't care if you have Agan's face, or his memories. The man I love is dead! He was murdered in cold blood by a heartless monster, only to have another heartless monster take his place!"
"It sounds like she's not interested." Replied the Naga King. "Not that it would matter, for you see she is my wife. So, I'm afraid you'll have to find a different Eve. As I said before, she belongs to me. You'll get her over my dead body. And if we're both cursed, then we are stuck in our naga forms. Which means we can't kill one another. Now even though Hailey is immortal, either one of us could kill her out of spite for the other. But one of the few things we can agree upon, is how much we love her. So neither one of us will do that. I guess that means she will be forever mine."
"Out of curiosity brother?", Agan began to ask. "Do you even wonder how father was able to return me to my naga form? I do regret that the boy known as Eric died, he actually was a decent person. He at least should have been aloud to live. That being said, I do want to thank you for the two extra hearts. It has made me even more powerful. Hence the reason I now have four arms."
"What are you talking about?", he asked Agan. "The heart is what keeps one's body alive, by pumping blood through the body. That is why it contains the life force, that is how Hailey was granted immortality."
"Actually," Agan began. "The life force, that was presented to father, is what he used to change me back into a naga. He told you that I was the final sacrifice, and to throw me in the fire pit alive. Of course I didn't know that at the time, and I must admit it was quite terrifying. However, once the sacred green fire engulfed me, I was reborn. I was my old self again."
"But that can't be," he said to Agan, as he was now completely confused. "Then how was Hailey made immortal. I saw father's power pass through her. I know he granted it to her." Agan let out a loud, boisterous laugh.
"Well, brother, " said Agan. "I guess he had to get it from somewhere else." The eerily smiling face on Agan hardened all of a sudden. He then grabbed his brother by the throat, and lifted him of the ground. this had caused him to release Hailey. A wickedly triumphant smile soon appeared on Agan's face.
"I don't understand!" the Naga King cried, gasping for air. "I have done everything thing father has asked. Why would he betray me like this?"
"As I said before—brother!" Agan replied. "Father never forgave you for killing me in cold blood. Plus, you are no longer needed. You have served your purpose. It's time for you to go." Agan then dangled him over the fire pit, their roles were now reversed.
"Hmm...." Agan said, as he looked sown into the fire pit. "Seems appropriate, after all, it's going to be quite warm where you're going!"
"AGAN STOP!!", cried Hailey. "Please don't just throw him in there like that. Show him your better than him. You can't just throw him in there alive!" Agan didn't look at her, but he did respond.
"You're right, my love," said Agan. "I am better than him." He then looked at his brother's terrified face as he was still gaping for air. Agan gave him a quick smile, but his face soon hardened. He then squeezed his brother's neck as tight as he could, until SNAP!!! Instantly, his brother's neck was broken. With that, he released the dead naga's lifeless corpse into the pit. He had acted like it was nothing more that a piece of garbage.
"NO!", Cried Hailey, "HOW COULD YOU? YOU'RE JUST AS MUCH A MONSTER AS HE WAS!"
"Oh no my dear.", Agan replied with a slight smirk upon his face. "I am much worse."
