It was an enchanting morning the next day, it seemed like the nature was happy, smiling at everyone...trying to tell them that something beautiful will be fall, soon. Something that would turn the tables so quick that it wouldn't be even noticeable that how changes occurred and how abhorrence turned into admiration.

Unlike every day Irfa didn't go to the backyard for a walk but Shehreyar was already there, of course for apologizing because he hadn't said sorry yet. He was a man of talent and capabilities, but he didn't know that to say a simple sorry it would take him this much time. Sighing in frustration he got up from the lawn chair as it was already past sunrise, and she hadn't come.

Sana and Imran were invited for lunch and when they arrived the whole house became chaotic once again. The younger got busy in teasing the hell out of the newly-weds while the elders just smiled seeing the happy faces of their progeny.

“Aapi, what did you get for muh dikhai?” Shifa asked in a teasing tone and the irony was that Sana wasn't blushing as much Imran was. He was legit looking like a tomato.

“This, that too after reminding that muh dikhai bhi di jati hai (the gift is also given)?” Sana too teased the blushing groom making everyone laugh at that. It was a beautiful ring and for some time Irfa just forgot looking at anything else, the piece of jewelry reminded her of her mother. It was strikingly similar.

“Guys, shouldn't we get a treat of their marriage?” It was Noor, Sana's friend who asked and that was it the youngsters started demanding for the treat and the loud noise made Shehreyar come out of his room. As soon as he entered the living room a smile formed on his face. The scene was adorable, seeing everyone trouble the couple and them blushing at their remarks.

“Ok fine, after lunch. Ice cream treat will do?” Imran spoke and a hooting of yes echoed in the room.

The treat session was amazing, more than eating the gang was busy in doing fun. They hadn't left the new couple for a single moment, teasing them uncontrollably. Even the people in the restaurant started laughing listening to Khizir's hilarious remark on Imran's blushing. On the way back Shehreyar had tried to take Irfa with him but to his utter dismay his car again betrayed and not only Irfa but no one could come with him. Anyhow, he had started the car and when went to mechanic they said it was perfect.

The reception was in one of the biggest hotels of the city. Imran himself was a businessman and the news of his wedding was no less than a wildfire. Many leading businessmen and well known people of the country were invited in addition to relatives and friends.

The elders, Alizeh, Zainab and Sana's friends had already left with Khizir. Sana was to be picked by Imran from beautician's. Only Irfa and Shifa were left and Shehreyar had taken the responsibility of them with open hands. He was already dressed in a blue suit with gray tie, his well-built physique giving a charm to his personality. Waiting for the girls to come he looked at the wrist watch and sighed.

“How much more time will they take?” He mumbled and went to drink water. Few minutes later he heard a clicking sound and turned around, dumbstruck. He was dumbstruck seeing the girl in front of him. Clad in a gray embroidery dress she was looking breathtaking. Her hair was in a bun and makeup minimal. She surely was beautiful and another time his heart strings pulled.

“Ma sha Allah.” A low whisper left his mouth which was obviously not heard by her. She was having quite difficulty in walking because of the damn heels. She stumbled making him move forward only to stop as she regained her composure.

“Where is Shifa…?” He asked.

“Coming.” was all she said.

She was going to get a glass of water but as soon as she took a step she stumbled again and if he wouldn't have been there she would have landed on the floor.

“Careful...”

“Sorry... I just…”she couldn't speak in embarrassment. She didn't know why her speaking system breaks down every time she is in front of him, specially when she needed to speak. And when she didn't she will blabber, how ironic.

“When you can't handle these stuff why do you wear them?” He couldn't control the sarcastic comment that left his mouth. Her head shot up and an unknown glare was passed by her making him curse himself mentally.

'Huh...what does he think of himself.

I can wear and also walk like a diva…but these heels…it hurts.' She was talking to her mind when Shifa called her to enter the car. It's the fifth attempt he made to start the car but his car was as stubborn as him.

His patience was on verge of ending but in the next attempt it started.

“Alhamdulillah...” Irfa gasped.

“What did you say…” he almost yelled at her making her roll her eyes?

''Nothing let's go.'' Shifa came to the rescue.

They reached the venue without any more tantrums of Shehreyar's car, the hall wasn't that crowded. Only family and friends were there as guest were still to arrive. Irfa and Shifa went towards the family members leaving him behind. Half an hour later the whole hall was beaming with guests. The bride and groom's entry was done it was just like a scene of a fairy tale. The elders along with the couple were on stage greeting and meeting everyone while younger were sitting at a side enjoying themselves.

“Hey Shifa...”Khizir came near them and sat at the table. He was the charm of the party, he was always. Joking with everyone he made sure the things were prim and proper. While Mr Shehreyar Siddiqui was standing at a corner talking with some businessman...but his eyes were fixed on the table where she was sitting.

“Guys, my cousins are here, we will leave after they meet the couple.” Noor informed.

“So soon?” Alizeh asked pouting lightly. Sara and she had become good friends and that too after knowing their same line of study and same city.

“We will meet later.” Sara said making Alizeh smile and nod at them. She got up from her place and accompanied the two to the stage. Noor went towards a guy and tapped his shoulder, the man said something to her and another guys joined them.

“Okay Alizeh, see you soon. Allah Hafiz.” Sara said hugging Alizeh startling her. She wasn't the type of girl who had a lot of friends and specially close ones. She smiled at Sara, meanwhile Noor came with the other guy as the first one had left.

“Ahad, did you meet Khizir?” Noor asked making him nod his head as he kept looking down in his phone.

“Okay Alizeh, Allah Hafiz.” Noor said shaking hands with her.

“Allah Hafiz. Should I call someone to drop you guys?” Alizeh spoke and Ahad's head shot up listening the voice...and then his eyes froze seeing the girl standing in front of him. She was the same girl?

“No, it's alright. We have our car.” Noor spoke and they left after a few minutes.

_______________

A man of late twenties came towards them with a sly smile and stood behind Khizir making him turn towards the guy. Everyone could see the displeased look on Khizir's face. Nevertheless, he stood up and started conversation with the guy who was busy staring Irfa, which was noticed by Irfa, Khizir and Shifa.

“Khizir won't you introduce me to this beautiful lady...” the man said. Shehreyar had seen Zawaar going towards his cousins and a sense of protection formed in him. He moved towards the table and heard him speak about someone. He didn't know Zawaar personally, but he could see his pathetic behavior.

“Who?” Khizir asked.

“Her.”Zawaar pointed towards Irfa. It was not under Shifa's control otherwise she would have punched hard on his face...he was a well known businessman Mr Zawaar and her punching him would definitely create a hot topic. Before any of them could react Shehreyar's voice made them look at him.

“Irfa...please come here.” He called, if it was any other moment it would have been hard for her to go but seeing the man in front of her she thought it was better to go with Shehreyar. She instantly got up and walked towards him.

“What happened?” She questioned thinking he had some work.

“Why were you talking to him?” He spoke with a mocking voice.

'Wait what... I was talking with him…is this man blind or what?' She thought.

“ I was not talking to him.” She tried to sound normal but anger was building in her and it was clearly visible through her eyes.

“Stay away from him and don't talk with any random guy.” He said coldly and went away.

Her mood was totally spoiled by Zawaar then Shehreyar, she didn't want to go back to the table where Zawaar was, so she went towards the food section. The amazing cuisines was tempting her eyes and also taming her anger. She was about to start but to her bad luck that guy followed her there too...she tried to ignore him, but he deliberately bumped into her. This was enough she got up.

“Are you really blind? Are those eye or button. Stay away.” She yelled at him and without wasting any more time stormed out of the food section. She couldn't even eat anything.

“Mamma meri tabiyat thik nahi hai main ghar chali jaaun?(mamma I am not feeling well can I go home?)” She asked from Saba.

“Child wait for sometime...we will go together. Saba said caressing her cheeks, and she went at a corner and sat there. Half an hour later Shehreyar decided to return as most of the guest had already left and only relatives and friends were there and no one was of his concern.

“Mom... I am going back.” He said coming towards Saba.

“Listen if you are going back take Irfa with you, she is not feeling well...and don't scold her.” She said at which he only nodded.

___________

Everything that had happened in the hall wasn't enough that Shehreyar's car was also adding more fuel to her anger. It was pissing her and her heels were adding more fuel to her anger. After thousands of attempts finally Shereyar's car started.

'Aah these heels...' she groaned mentally and the very next moment she removed her heels and kept it on her lap. Few moments later when he randomly looked at her he saw her heels on her lap.

“Irfa! Why have you kept the shoes on your lap?” He asked calmly.

“These are my heels...wherever I keep them it's my problem.” Her tone was really not calm, he was shocked at her out burst and decided not to say anything. He kept glancing her trying to decipher why her face was puffed in an angry one.

Suddenly the car halted making both of them jerk forward. Her head snapped towards him and her eyes were throwing daggers at him, and he was scared, for the first time. They stepped out and Shehreyar took a look at the engine. It was throwing smoke, his anger rose seeing the smoke...he just wanted to smash the face of the mechanic who said the car was perfect.

“What happened?” She asked.

“Can't you see.” his tone was filled with anger, making her anger rise too.

“No I can't I am blind.” she was also in the mood to fight.

“Are you- the engine is not working.” He controlled his anger or else something bad would happen, she was in anger, and he was in anger. None was in mood to stay calm.

He tried to call Khizir but his phone was not connecting.

“Damn this phone.” He mumbled.

“Call someone... I can't stand in this dark place.” she rotated her eyes around her, the area was silent as it was already too late.

“Main pagal dikhta hun?(am I mad?).... I have called Khizir but it's not connecting.” He snapped.

“ Don't you dare shout again at me.” She said pointing her finger at his face. She didn't know from where she gained this much confidence.

“What the-” he said and next moment threw his phone, that unfortunately fell near her feet breaking into pieces.

“Are you out of your mind.?” she instantly snapped.

“Yeah I am....and by the way will you just shut up.” He hadn't imagined that his sentence would make her react that way, she started crying like baby. His eyes widen at her sobs.

“Han saari ghalti toh meri hi hai.(yes every mistake is mine).” She snapped in crying voice.

“When did I say that?” He threw his hand up in shock.

“You know what Mr Sherehyar you are an angry bird...the black fat one. Why do you always scold me, am I emotionless that I won't feel bad?”

He was really shocked at what she was saying. Staring her with wide eyes he tried to get in the situation.

“You know every time it was your fault, when I was coming in your room what was the need to come out hun. Us pe mujhe itna danta(you scolded me on that). What was the need to come in the kitchen? Aise to har waqt gala pharte rehte hain(you shout randomly). You should have called Shifa...what was the need to come in the kitchen? And why did you come in front of me? Was it my fault? Speak.... us din bhi dekh kar nahi chal sakte the(on that day also couldn't you walk seeing properly) and bumped into me...isme bhi meri ghalti thi...bolo(was it my fault...speak)." she was constantly blabbing about all the incident while the waterfall was still going on and on, without any control. Shehreyar had never seen anyone cry like this, he didn't know what to do. He was just staring her dumbstruck.

“Everyone was applying haldi then what was the point of busting that day. I was not talking with that guy, you know what you are blind totally blind. Ek to uske wajah se khana bhi nahi kha payi...itne ache dishes the(I couldn't even eat, the dishes were so good). And now you are scolding me…” Her adorable flushed face was making him unknowingly fall for her, the small smile that broke on his face was evidence.

Suddenly he broke into fits of laughter, he couldn't stop his bubbling laugh at the last line which she spoke.

She was shocked, staring him as if he was from another galaxy.

“I really didn't know you had so much complaint from me....and the food? Let me call mom she will get some with her.” he spoke between his laugh.

“Hun…let me call mom.” she mimicked him.

“How will you call her...phone to phek diya hai.(you have thrown the phone).” She said with irritation showing the shattered phone near her feet with an angry expression.

“Oh yeah.”

“ Irfa I am really sorry.” he said genuinely. The sorry for all the wrongs he had done, but she wasn't in the mood to even listen and think about the words.

“I am really sorry (mimicked him). What will your sorry do?... Will it

take us home…hun?” She said folding her arms and raised an eyebrow.

Shocked at her sarcastic comment he shook his head. He knew more sarcasm would come so it was better not to argue.

“There is a taxi stand, a few steps from here. We can walk-” he couldn't even complete his sentence as she huffed.

“I won't go with you.” She said turning her head like a child.

“What? Come on Irfa I am really sorry don't be a child.”

“Woah I am being a child...nahi jaungi aapke saath.(I will not go with you)” She was being really stubborn.

“Oh god! Sorry once again.” He said holding his ears. It was really a sight to see Mr Shehreyar Siddiqui like that.

“Fine, leave it…let's go.” She said and both of them started to walk. She was still sobbing a little, hiccuping now and then. He was glancing her way alarmed, that anytime her waterfall would start.

“Irfa first wear your heel you will hurt yourself.”

“No I won't.” She snapped.

“Do what you want.” He said taking a long breath. She once again hiccuped making him face palm himself and speak.

“Come on, please don't cry.” he was feeling guilty.

“No no no I won't....they are my tears.” She didn't know why she was behaving like this...she just wanted to release her stress and unfortunately but fortunately it was Shehreyar who became the target.

Silence had prevailed between them but after a walk of another five minutes she screamed loudly making him jump a little. Looking at her he asked,

“What happened?”

“M…my feet.” She couldn't say properly, the pain was immense. Hr kneeled down and examined his feet, there wasn't any scratches but when he poked it she screamed again.

“I think it's a sprain.” He mumbled, loud enough for her to hear and shriek.

“ What? How will I walk now.” Her eyes again glistened with tears making him suppress his smile at her cuteness. She was being too adorable to handle.

“Get up…the main road is near, we can at leas get a taxi from there.” He spoke softly. He slowly passed his hands to her, and she grabbed it. They started walking, his one hand was in her hand and the other holding was her waist. His touch was enough to shut her mouth, she was neither speaking a single word nor was crying.

It didn't take them much time to find a cab, Irfa had literally said Alhamdulillah thousand times in her mind. Shehreyar was smiling like an idiot, looking outside. He hadn't imagined his apology would be like that and neither had he imagined the shy, silent girl acting like a child. They reached home and found everyone already there.

“Beta where were you? We were so tensed.” Saba came towards them as they entered the front room.

“Irfa? What happened, why are you crying? Did he say anything?” Saba asked glaring Shehreyar.

“Mom relax I didn't do anything.” He said.

“Then why is she crying?” she again asked looking at him with anger.

“The car broke in the way and while walking her feet got sprained.” He informed. Irfa was made to sit and the whole family got in her service making him stare at them in amusement. His family had literally abandoned him.

Thinking about her cuteness and outburst a huge grin formed on his face, which was rare. He was grinning ear to ear when his mother saw him.

“Shehry, you alright?” She asked in a worried tone. Seeing her poker-faced son smiling like an idiot had made her worried if he was fine or not.

“Yeah mom. Why did you ask?” He asked composing himself.

“Actually you are smiling like an idiot.” She said and went away leaving him with open mouth, his mom just called him an idiot.
