《The Billionaire in Love》chapter 21

The sun glimmered infront of me, its rays parting graciously in between the tall trees and bushes. I was standing in front of the river near the mansion. I looked at my watch, it was 5.55am. Perfect timing to watch sunrise after Fajr.
I stared ahead thinking about yesterday. I wish that ammi and abba knew about Talha's whereabouts or I could tell them but I knew I can't. It would only cost them hurt, anger and pain. I was not ready for that.
My phone vibrated in my pocket as I checked for the caller.
I slid the screen and answered Abba's call.
"As salamu alaikum, abba" I said
"was salaam beta, rush to the hospital, Fawaad is in the emergency ward" he replied
I felt shiver run down my spine.
"what happ-" i started when abba cut the call.
I sprinted up the hill to my SUV. I started the engine and drove above speed limit to the hospital. My GPS guided me and soon I was sprinting in the doors of the hospital.
I came to a halt infront of Masi and ammi who were sitting there.
Masi looked up to me and fresh tears began rolling down her cheeks. I knelt down and hugged her.
"He-e- i-s-s...m-a-y--on-l-ly- s--o--o-n" she said in between sobs.
I rubbed her back. Finally she let me go and I looked at ammi.
"What happened?" I asked her
"I-am-" she said but did not complete her sentence as Ash came in the view.
Ammi and Masi got up and walked to her.
I turned to look at her when Ahaya caught my eye. I looked down.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around to see Haan. He took my hand and guided me out of the place.
I wanted to see Fawaad but- first- why was he here!?!
"Sit!" haan bhai gestured to the bench by the tree outside.
"How did it happen?" was my first question.

"fawaad-he got in a heated arguement with...Ash. She.. well... um told him that Adeel was better and all so as you know fawaad, he did not let out his anger on things, he got in his car and drove- on high speed I may add- towards the city lanes. His car got in collision with a truck and it was crshed. The driver was good enough to get him to the hospital on time or else.." stated Haan Bhai.
I listened quitely as I felt water in my eyes. My brother....
I looked up at him and asked "What was the arguement about?"
"That we don't know" he said "Oh and no one except me and you know that it happened after the arguement with Ash" he added
I remained silent.
Suddenly filled with anger, sadness, shock and rage, I got up and stormed into the hospital to Ash.
This girl was gonna get a hell from me!
"what-" she said as I pointed her to sit. I was angry.
She quitely set down.
"what did you say to my brother?" I questioned her.
"Nothing" she replied looking down.
"Look at me when I talk!" i growled at her. She looked up to me.
"What did you say to him?" I asked her again
"I-s-a--id n-nothing" she stuttered
"Oh really? then why is he in the hospital with NO FREAKING HOPE OF COMING BACK!?!!" I screamed at her.
I knew I was loosing my temper, not a good thing but it was my bro we were talking about here!
Tears started rolling down her eyes.
Suddenly Ahaya barged into the room looking worried and shocked.
"what are you doing?!"! she screeched at me asshe ran to her friends aid.
"I just wanted answers!" i replied simply
"You get answers politely! why make her cry!?!" she snarled at me while she rubbed Ash's back.
"Oh right... MY BROTHER IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE AND YOU WANT ME TO BE POLITE TO THE GIRL WHO WAS THE WHOLE FREAKING REASON WHY HE IS THERE!?!!!!" I screamed at her. Now I felt the whole crowd gather around her office. Hell it was not even her office.

"Stop screaming Arshad, this is a hospital" said Ahaya, her tone slow.
I looked at Ash who was still silently sobbed. I shook my head. It was no use.
"If I lose my brother-" I said but stopped seeing her state. Ash was all red by now, tears falling down her cheek while Ahaya had fire blazing in her eyes.
I stormed out of the cabin.
I was right. There was a whole lot of crowd in front of the office/ cabin.
"Mr. Khan can we know what was that all about?" sked one lady reporter as I walked out
"Mr.Khan who is responsible for the condition of your brother?" asked another
"Mr. Arshad, Will the Italian billionaire be okay?" asked another one referring to Fawaad as the Italian Billionaire
"Please answer, Mr.Khan" said one
I walked out of the place, anger slwoly fading away.
I saw ammi and walked to her.
"Ammi can I see Fawaad?" I asked her
"No... he is in the ICU so no one is allowed" she replied but I did not listen to her.
I headed to the ICU.
The doctor stopped me and asked me to come with him to his and I repeat HIS cabin. I followed him but after I saw Fawaad from the window of the room.
My brother was lying there..... half lifeless just like that of a dead body. I felt tears well up in my eyes as all the memories flashed back. The childhood tht me, him and Talha shared.
I turned away and walked into the doctors cabin.
"Sit" he motioned me to the chair infront of his desk.
"Mr. Arshad? Am I correct?" he asked
I nodded.
"This.. I... sorry but I can't tell this to your family after seeing their state when Fawaad was bought in.. so I decided to tell you instead." he said
"Doc get to your point" i said
He sighed.
"This may cause depression and stress to you and your family but Fawaad has very less chances of coming out of Coma" he replied
I set there froozen. What the hell?!?!! This can't be happening! No.. NO!
"w-hy?" I managed to ask
"You see his body is absulotely normal... its just his brain... his heart rate is abnormal.. sometimes too high, sometimes normal or too low. His brain is the major thing here. we did an x-ray on his body and much to my surprise we did not ind any injuries that may have caused comma but-" said the doctor
"You mean to say he has nothing that could have caused comma yet he is in comma?" I asked the Doc in disbelief.
What is that suppose to mean!?!
"yes... but there may be something that is disturbing his brain.... that something is hurting him so he went into depression.... the car collision happened.. true but no toxic or anything entered his body nor was he a smoker or druggist that could have caused this.. so it was definately stress and depression. Normal stress cannot cause comma so whatever he was going through might have been hard.. he might have had panic attacks or hypoxia before..." said the doctor.
I nodded.
"Oh and one ore thing... he may be able to come out of comma if he wills and right now I don't think he is ready" said the Doc as he gave me papers to sign.
I read the papers and signed them.
I left the office to go to ammi and masi and the rest.
I honestly had no idea how I am gonna reveal this to them.
I sighed.
What was it that caused you all this, Fawaad?!?!
What had happened that you did not want to tell me!?!
I so wanted to ask questions top him but-
'ARSHAD!!!!" Screamed a voice
I turned to see Talha and Madiha enter the waiting room or more like sprint inside the waiting room.
All heads turned to them. They had their hands entwined and I knew they were in for questions.
I turned to ammi.
Oh HELL!
