[Jonah's POV]
After lunch, the day went about the same. I was grabbing my stuff from my locker when I was slammed into it. When I looked, I saw Riser, Valdi, and Issei.
Jonah: "What do you want?"
Riser: "Stay away from Yubelluna."
Jonah: "Why are you finally jealous of someone?"
This caused Issei and Valdi to hold me against my locker, allowing Riser to punch me in the gut.
Riser: "Stay away or so help me. I'll make you regret coming here."
As they walked off, the school nurse left her office when she saw me slump to the ground.
???: "Are you alright?"
Jonah: "I'm alright. Don't worry."
???: "Well, if you need something please come see me. The name's Rossweisse."
Jonah: "Okay, I promise."
I headed to the entrance when I heard a familiar voice.
Yubelluna: "Hey Jonah, what took you so long."
Jonah: "The nurse needed help, so I helped her."
Yubelluna: "Well, that's nice of you to help. Anyways ready to head out."
Jonah: "Actually, I have to head home. Sorry, maybe next time."
Yubelluna: "Alright, let me know."
[Yubelluna's POV]
I was at the shake shop when someone came over to me.
Raynare: "Hey Bomb Queen. What's up."
Yubelluna: "Hey Raynare. I'm fine, but Jonah blew me off."
Raynare: "What do you mean?"
Yubelluna: "He and I were going to hang out after school, but he said no last minute."
Raynare: "That's weird."
Yubelluna: "And it sucks cause I was going to confess to him."
Raynare: "What did you say?"
Yubelluna: "That it sucks."
Raynare: "No, after that."
Yubelluna: "That I was going to confess to him."
Raynare: "Bingo."
Yubelluna: "Crap please dont tell Riser."

Raynare: "I won't. Trust me, he, Valdi, and Issei are the same when they get mad. Also, I don't think you should wait."
Yubelluna: "Okay, I'll do it tomorrow."
Raynare: "Confess to him or dump Riser."
Yubelluna: "Both I'll dumb Riser then rush over to confess to Jonah."
Raynare: "You'll need this then. It's Jonah's address. I managed to get Sona to hand it over."
Yubelluna: "Thank you, but why?"
Raynare: "So you can get as far away from him and tell Jonah the truth and maybe have some fun with all those hormones."
Yubelluna: "Thanks. I don't know how to thank you."
Raynare: "No worries. Jonah is my friend, and I want to see my friend happy."
Yubelluna: "Thank you, so why are you here."
Raynare: "Oh, I'm meeting with Kiba and Tsubaki."
Yubelluna: "So your finally getting back out there after Issei."
Raynare: "Yeah, anyway, wish me luck."
Yubelluna: "Good luck."
[Timeskip]
I was doing homework when I got a call from Riser.
Yubelluna: "Hey, Riser."
Riser: "Hello, my Queen. What are you doing?"
Yubelluna: "Homework, why what about you?"
Riser: "I'm helping Ravel with hers."
Yubelluna: "So if you don't have any plans, would you like to go out tomorrow night."
Riser: "Of course I would. Now about why I called. You aren't cheating on me, are you?"
Yubelluna: "No, why?"
Riser: "Cause I saw how that new kid was all over you."
Yubelluna: "One, he's my childhood best friend, and two, I was showing him around for the day."
Riser: "Well, then you won't mind not hanging out with him for the next few days."
Yubelluna: "Why? Why do you care who I hang out with?"

Riser: "I don't, but I also think you can survive not hanging out with him unless you want something to happen to him, something a lot worse than a punch to the gut."
Yubelluna: "You did what."
Riser: "He needed to learn his place."
Yubelluna: "You know I was going to do this to you tomorrow, but I think nows the time. You and I were done. I'm breaking up with you."
Riser: "Do that, and your friend will receive worse beatings than before, or he could find himself the reason behind a fire and be charged with arson."
I knew he was like this. His father was arrested for arson, and apparently, he taught Riser how to get away with it or blame it on someone else.
Yubelluna: "Alright, fine. I won't."
Riser: "Good girl and not a word to anyone."
Yubelluna: "Alright."
I felt horrible, but I knew what Jonah could go through, and I knew I couldn't protect him. I looked over at my desk and saw a childhood photo of Jonah and me. I grabbed it and held it close to me before falling asleep crying.

8 188Twisted Skies
After his master's death, Thurain leaves his rural home behind and travels to Heliana, the cramped city founded on the scientific progress of cultivation. Under a fake name, he aims to enter the Elemental Path Sect, the place of his master's death, to find both his killers, and closure. However, surrounded by the strange and horrible wonders of Heliana and its mixture of heroes and villains, his master's death is not the only murder he may have to solve. --- First attempt at a xianxia novel from me. To shake things up from the usual formula, the setting is more steam-punk than you might expect, and there are elements of murder mystery mixed in with the standard formula (though I'm not entirely sure yet how far to go with it.) I wrote this a while ago for NaNoWriMo, only posting it now for various reasons. Enjoy. Also, cover is highly temporary. I'll probably replace it with something nicer eventually.
8 80Ferrian's Winter
Ferrian has been running his whole life. Running, because he has no choice. Wherever he goes, Winter follows. Wherever he sleeps, frost creeps at his door. From town to town he hastens, frightened, tired; forever trying to keep one step ahead of the cold, the snow and the devastating storms. It is a kind of curse, and Ferrian has no idea what it means. Only someone with a knowledge of magic might be able to to help him, but sorcerers are nearly extinct in the world. Two brothers remain, however; the last of their once-noble kind, holed up in a secluded valley, waging their own private and very personal war. Ferrian, captured by the local law enforcers, finds himself unexpectedly amongst friends sympathetic to his cause, and together they set out on an adventure-filled quest to find the last sorcerers. * * * * * This is a completed, self-published novel, over two volumes, that I am serialising for Royal Road. 8 324The Time I Became a War Golem
Oh hey! Welcome! It's a pleasure for me that you stumbled here and found this story. What? What exactly is this story? Oh you know, it's like those run-of-the-mill Isekai stories, the main character dies and then gets reborn to another world, fights all kinds of evils and stuff until they finally get a happily ever after. I am the Main Character in this story, your's truly Nigto Zed. In this story, you would follow my life (of course) in the World of Gaia, where I would be involved in fights of both Good and Evil and also the ones inbetweens. You would also read about some of the lives of the people that I meet here from their perspective so it's not all me. Oh well, enough with this. Again, I welcome you to the World of Gaia, wherein, Man and Demi-humans alike experience the two sides of Life, The White and Pure along with the Black and Stained. This is the story of both Suffering and Healing. Of both Successes and Failures. A world where Souls paves the way to Destiny, and where Relationships ensures Victory. This is the World of Gaia and this is also the Story of the Time I Became a War Golem. Enjoy!
