"And that's my story. And why I'm here now."
I looked around the room as I finished my story. The girls just stared at me. I just . . . smiled awkwardly. I think to be completely honest, if I didn't smile, I'd probably cry.
"How long ago was that?" I shrugged.
"I don't really know, but that was the last time I ever saw him."
"And all of this because you were friends with his brother and went to a Halloween party?" I nodded.
"That's so mean."
"Not as mean as this new guy is gonna treat you sadly." I looked down, after the stuff that happened over the past few months, I didn't fear Masters anymore.
As we all carried on talking, something started unlocking the doors. Compared to how these 'people' treat us, Alex's house was heaven.
At first, I thought Alex was teaching me a lesson for going out with Kane . . . but after a few days . . . and him not coming back, I realized . . . he wasn't. He had really gotten rid of me.
I remember when I woke up, I was naked and chained to a wall, with the worst headache I've ever had in my life. They said they had to 'break' me in before I was then moved to the selling house . . . that's what they called it. No one wanted me. Because I had been 'used'.
All the virgins went first. Apparently, the vampires prefer virgins. I had learned that a lot of the virgins sold would have been taken and killed straight away . . . their blood is pure. Older masters liked that.
I was sold for $2500, apparently that was a lot for someone 'like me'. I was pulled out of my memories to someone coming in and signaling for me and and the younger girl to stand and follow. We did instantly.

"Where are we going?" She whispered to me.
"I don't know, but just do what they say, okay?" She nodded. We were taken through the corridors and up into the house. Up and down, up and down . . . and then we stopped in front of a door. The guard knocked.
This was it. Whoever was behind that door was my new Master. I was lucky to have someone like Alex. I never realized how lucky. My body has been left scarred and burned and now . . . I didn't know what my life would be.
By what some of the older girls had said in our cell, my new life consisted of being forced into sex by my Vampire Master.
Just as that thought passed through my mind, someone called us in . . .
