Rose's POV
I wasn't exactly sure how long I stayed, laying on the bed, but the room had darkened a lot. The blue sky outside the balcony windows had turned pink and orange, signaling sunset. I didn't want to move.
"Hey Rose, are you coming to dinner?" I didn't move when I heard Parker's little voice. "Rose?"
"No."
"But-"
"Please leave me alone." When there was silence for a few minutes, I thought maybe she got the message . . . but no such luck. Instead, she climbed onto the bed and cuddled up to me. Moving away from her, I turned over and faced the other way.
Letting out a small sob, there was a gust of wind, and she was gone. Closing my eyes, I let out a sigh.
My eyes hurt . . . like . . . really hurt.
"Stupid man." I whispered out loud to myself.
"HUMAN!!" I bolted upright on the bed and faced the door. There he was, stood, eyes burning red. No doubt about it . . . he was really mad, really, really mad.
I quickly moved back and cowered in fear of him, I was really terrified of him now. Not because of the things he can do to hurt me . . . but because of the thinks he knows.
"Please . . ."
"You made Parker cry!" Within seconds he was right in front of me, pulling me down the bed by my legs and jumped on top of me. Straddling my waist. I thrashed around under him, trying to escape, but it was no use.
He grabbed hold of my wrists and pinned me to the bed.
"I didn't mean to! I swear!" I heard a growl come from deep in his throat as he bared his teeth at me.
"My little sister is my world, if you upset her again, I'll rip your throat out! Do you understand me?!" I nodded quickly. "ANSWER ME!"
"YES!" I cried. Grinning, he let go of my wrists and leaned back.
"I have no respect for you what so ever, nor does any other being in this house, but you damn sure will have respect for me and my family!" I was frozen in fear and shock.
"Okay."
"Good."
"Can I apologize to her?" Tilting his head to the side, he looked at me, with a look of confusion.

Alexander's POV
"Apologize?" Why would she even ask. Again she nodded at me, but quickly remembered herself and answered 'Yes'. "Uh . . . sure?"
Scrambling off the bed, she slowly inched her way around me and stood to wait. Raising my hand, I signaled for her to follow me and headed out then door. I could hear her quietly following behind me, but she was keeping her distance.
The walk down to Parker's room was quick and quiet. When we got to her bedroom door, I pushed it open and stepped inside.
"Hurry up human!" I scolded. Keeping her down, she walked in and I closed the door behind her.
"Parker." Her head shot up, frowning when she saw me, but the second her eyes rested on Rose her smile spread across her face and she stood up.
"Hey Parker." I clenched my teeth. I hated letting these things near her, but for some reason, Parker had really warmed up to Rose. Instantly, she ran across the room with open arms. Picking her up, the human gave her a big hug.
For the quickest second, it made me smile before I realized what was truly going on and my frown returned.
"Rose wanted to say sorry." I explained. I hated using a slave's real name, it made them seam equal.
"I truly am." She added.
"I already forgive you!" She squealed back happily as Rose set her back down on her feet. A shock went through me . . . it took me a moment to realize it was actually . . . jealousy? Why will Parker forgive such a useless human, but not me!
Her eyes shot to me before she walked over and pushed me away.
"Parks?" I felt silly showing such emotion in front of someone other than my little sister, but none the less, she has no right to be so rude.
"No! Leave me and Rose alone!" She screamed with such a loud pitch that the glass on the table next to Rose shattered. She raised her arms to protect her face, but instead, just ended up hurting her arms.
Instantly, blood seemed to run down both arms and pool into drips at her fingertips.
The scent of her blood was so strong!
I wonder what she tastes like?

My head snapped at Parker's thought.
So rich and tasteful, I'm sure I won't hurt her if I just take a small bit.
I watched as she crept forward a little, I wasn't sure what to do . . . do I stop her?
"Rose, can you please go back to my room and wait for me." Both girls looked up at me with confused, wondering eyes. "Now!" With a more forceful tone, she quickly did as I asked and hurried out of the room.
"Don't ever think those things again Parker!"
"What?" She looked so innocent, I almost forgave her.
"You know the rules of my house! If you're hungry, you tell me or Fang . . . you do not EVER even consider feeding off a slave, understand?" she looked down. "I thought Rose was your friend?"
"She is!"
"You eat all your friends?"
She stayed quiet.
"No, I didn't think so. Go and find Fang or Desmond and tell them you're hungry!" Leaving her in her bedroom, I followed the smell of blood all the way back to my bedroom.
When I got there she was just stood in the middle of the room, raising an eyebrow at her, I pointed over to the sofa.
"Sit." I was a little surprised when she did as I said and sat down. the blood still dripping ever so slightly down her arm. I walked over to my desk and grabbed a candle, matches, tweezers, and some bandages . . . always prepared!
Heading over to her and the sofa, she moved away from me a little bit as I sat down.
"Give me your arm human." She did. laying it across my lap, I lit the candle and dangled the metal tweezers over it for a moment. I could smell her fear again.
Oh god, this is going to hurt!
I could hear her thoughts.
"Yes, it will hurt, but it's better than leaving your arm in such a state." I simply replied. I felt her eyes on me as I prepared her arm. "Ready?"
"Yes."
Focusing back on her arm, I started to remove some of the smaller pieces first. these would be the hardest, the bigger ones are no problem. Every time the hot metal touched her skin, she hissed out in pain, but let me continue.
"How can you control yourself so easily around blood?" I looked up at her for only a second before I carried on with my task.
"You're not special human, I have no problem controlling myself." Scoffing, she looked away again, shaking her head.
Just when I thought he could actually be nice, stupid, idiot pri-
"I wouldn't finish that thought if I was you."
PRICK!
So, she did anyway. looking at her, I was about to tell her off when I saw her smiling. Tilting my head to the side, I just stared at her, her smile reached her eyes . . . her big . . . shiny eyes, and she let out the sweetest giggle.
Turning my face away from hers, I quickly pulled out the bigger pieces and bandaged her up.
"Thank you." I didn't look back at her, but it sounded like a genuine thank you. Standing, I walked over to the fire and turned it on. Within minutes the flames were going wild as I threw the bits and pieces in.
I just stared into the flames for a few moments before I heard the most annoying chatting sound. I looked around quickly, wondering where it could possibly be coming from, and then my eyes focused on her . . . it was her.
It was her teeth, she was . . . cold. Using my speed, I managed to get over to my bed, grab a blanket and get back to the sofa before she even realized I was gone. Passing it over to her, she looked up at me, raising her eyebrows.
"You're cold, aren't you?"
"Yeah." She took the blanket and smiled sweetly, "Thank you." I just returned it and went over to turn the fire off. "Can you . . . leave it on?"
"Um . . . yeah, sure." Leaving it on, I went back to sit on the sofa with her. Letting out a yawn, the little human snuggled up in the blanket and her eyes slowly started to close. I was tempted to tell her to just leave, but when I opened my mouth to speak something stopped me, and within seconds she was fast asleep.
Picking her up, she wrapped her arms around my neck and snuggled against my chest as I went over and set her down on the bed.
Debating for a few seconds what I should actually do now, I climbed onto the bed with her and closed my eyes. . .
