Dinning room^^
As he opened the doors to the dinning room, it reminded me of a medieval castle dinning hall in a monster movie. While the bedroom I was in looked modernish, this place looked like it hasn't changed since the place was built.
Everyone's heads turned to look at me, bagpipes smiled I guess at what I was wearing.
Xavier stopped at the head of the table. "Everyone this is my mate. Mate this is my family. My mother Elizabeth, My father Edmond, My sister Elyssa, her husband Fergus, their two kids Addison and Colt." He said pointing them each out while introducing them.
He held a chair out for me and I sat in his instead at the head of the table. Yes I'm being a total brat, but come on these people ripped me from my life.
Xavier sighed running a hand down his face, but sat down in the chair he pulled out for me and didn't say anything.
There were shocked looks on the men's faces, but the women smiled and chuckled at my stunt.
"So dear what's your name?" His mother asked.
"Kidnapped victim." I said with a straight face.
She turned her head to Xavier. "You kidnapped her?"
"You know why mother, I couldn't just leave her there." He replied they both got glazed looks in their eyes for a few moments.
"Oh No couldn't leave someone to their own life." I mumbled
"Dear I'm so sorry he did that, but your here now, might as well try to make the best out of it." She said with a smile.
"Excuse me" I said dangerously calm. "Your demon spawn kidnapped me, and what, your just fine with that. What kind of mother are you?" I said through clinched teeth.
"I will over look the disrespect young lady because of your, situation, but being rude will not help anything." She said
"My 'situation'" I air quoted, "Is that your son KIDNAPPED me, that is not a situation that is a crime. In fact it's a felony to kidnap a minor across state lines and I can guarantee we ain't in Kansas anymore, freaking wicked witch of the west." I mumbled the last part under my breath. No I wasn't a minor, but they didn't need to know that. But apparently the old bat had good hearing as she gave me a death stare.

I just glared back. How can these people think that kidnapping someone was normal. Then it hit me. I had seen a bunch of people outside the window in the bedroom.
"Oh sweet baby Jesus! This is a freaking cult isn't it?" I said looking around at everyone.
"What kind of Jim Jones, Manson Family bull crap is this?" I said looking at Xavier "I want to go home." I said.
"No." he said not bothering to look at me.
Everyone sat in silence as we ate, I had to admit at-least the food pretty good.
She's so disrespectful. My mother said through the mind-link.
I told you I wanted to eat in our room, that she wasn't ready for a family dinner, but you wouldn't take no for an answer. I shot back at her.
Mom, think of it from her view, she was kidnapped and she doesn't know us or what we are or what she means to Xavier, all she knows is strangers took her from her life, I don't think even you would be respectful if someone did that to you. My sister said defending my mate.
It made me smile, at least she was trying to see it from my mates point of view.
I guess. Mom relented
She's got fire in her that's for sure. My father added
And a wicked right cross for which a wee lass. Fergus said.
I guess from her view we kind of are a cult. I said looking at my mate.
Her comment about kidnapping a minor, how old do you think she is? My sister asked
I don't know, she refuses to even tell me her name. I said
"So what's your name." Elyssa asked her suddenly breaking the silence
My mate just stared at her with a blank expression.
"We could call you something else I suppose." My sister continued
"Princess!" my niece Addison added
"Yea princess, I like it." I said looking at my mate.
"Alex." My mate suddenly said.
My wolf purred at her name. Alex.
"Is that short for something?" My sister asked
"Yes." Alex said not giving anything else up.
"Mou aresei to onoma sou." My nephew Colt babbled
Alex's head snapped up and she looked at Colt.
"Euxapiotw" Alex said to him with a smile Colt climbed off his chair and walked over to Alex and raised his arms for her to pick him up.

She placed him on her lap and he threw his little arms around her neck.
"I aderfí mou éspase to set tsagioú tin perasméni evdomáda kai tous eípe óti to ékana. Den ítan díkaio. Tha tous peíte óti den ímoun egó?" Colt said
"He wants you to know he did not break Addison's tea set, she did and just blamed it on him." Alex said looking at Addison.
"You understand him?" My sister said with shock written all over her face.
"Of course." Alex said with a confused face.
"But how." My mother asked
"We've tried everything. He just won't talk. We thought maybe he was.." Elyssa trailed off looking at Colt.
"Let me guess he was suppose to be a twin?" Alex said with a kind smile.
"How did you know?" Elyssa asked
"What, how's come I'm just hearing about this?" My mother asked looking at my sister
"We didn't want people to know. He was suppose to be a twin.. we.. we lost the other one 6 months into the pregnancy." Elyssa said
"But how are you able to understand him?" My Father asked my Mate
"It's called Twin-less Twin syndrome. There is a theory that when one twin dies before birth the surviving twins soul goes into shock, for lack of a better word. The surviving twin tends to act a bit odd for the first few years. Let me guess He doesn't want to be touched, screams if you try to hug him, he does things multiple times, kind of like OCD. He doesn't speak English and he just seems off." Alex said tilting her head and looking at Elyssa
"Y-yes." my sister said with tears in her eyes.
"Don't worry the theory goes on to state that usually around the ages of 3-5 the surviving twin seems to just snap out of it one day with no warring and they are perfectly normal." Alex finished
"How do you know all this and how is it you can understand him." My mother asked
"Because he's not speaking gibberish. Twins develop their own language. As they grow their twin language morphs as they make up their own words for things and it tends to be unique to each set of twins, but most experts say that the base of twin languages is a form of the Greek language. His "twin" language is not the same but similar to mine. I think it's because with out his twin the language didn't change." Alex said as Colt played with a strand of her hair.
"And the reason I know this is because I'm a twin-less twin. They thought I was autistic until I spoke for the first time. I use to bang my head on the floor for no reason, I had all kinds of ticks and odd behavior, and I didn't speak until the age of 4. Of course Momma says I ain't shut up since, but still. When I did speak for the first time it wasn't a word or two it was a whole sentence. It's actually in my baby book. It was like a switch was flipped and I was a completely different kid." She said smiling at Colt
"What was it? What was your first words?" My sister asked with tears in her eyes. I knew she was begging to hope that Colt would honestly be ok for the first time since he was born.
"Apparently Momma had taken me to the Doctors that day and I got a shot and it pissed me off. When we got home she said I wanted over to my play phone and picked it up saying 'Doctor Berry you don't give me no shot no morey.' then I apparently slammed the phone back down and asked Mom what was for lunch. She was shocked to say the least, because she had never heard my voice before." Alex said laughing
"He'll talk when he's ready, most of the time it's between the ages of 3 to 5." Alex said and Colt offered her a chip from his hand
"No thanks kid I made that mistake once with one of my nephews," She shuddered, "I still have nightmares about that soggy cheeto he shoved in my mouth." She said closing her eyes and shaking her head at the bad memory.
I couldn't help but laugh and smile when she did. Her and Elyssa spent the rest of dinner talking and laughing. I'm so glad she found someone here she could talk to and get along with.
