Xavier's Beta^^
I struggled as the man I saw first held me with an iron grip next to his chest while his face was next to my neck and hair.
"Shhh. It's ok. Calm down." He whispered in my ear.
"Calm down, Calm down! Don't you dare fu*king tell me to calm the fu*k down. You kidnapped me!" I screamed at him hitting whatever I could.
"Easy bonnie lass no one is going to hurt you." The read headed man next to us said.
I stopped struggling for a minute cocked my head to the side and said "Scottish, Irish or Scots-Irish?" I asked him
He looked at me surprised, "Scots-Irish but most people just assume Scottish." he said with a smile.
"So should I call you bagpipes or lucky charms?" I said trying to get under his skin, as his smile dropped into a scowl, normally I would be mortified to actually say something like this, yes I am sarcastic and I have a smart mouth, but that's only around friends and family I'm comfortable with, with strangers and acquaintances I do have manners, self control and can hold my tongue, but nice went out the window when they kidnapped me.
The man that held me on his lap chuckled lightly under me.
"Ya yer perfect for each other." Bagpipes said under his breath
"I want to go home!" I screamed in the man's face who had me on his lap.
He ignored me as did everyone else in the SUV. I struggled and wiggled down til I was at the right distance then thrusted my boot into the side of bagpipes face causing his head to hit the car window and shatter.
Glass flew everywhere as the redhead cursed. "Christ lass what was that for?" He yelled holding both sides of his head.

"Are you kidding me? You kidnapped me a**holes!" I screamed back kicking him where ever I could.
"Xavier control your mate." Bagpipes said trying to dodge my boots looking at who I now knew to be Xavier
Xavier pulled me back up his lap. "Be nice." he whispered rubbing his cheek against mine. I put my hands on his chest and struggled to pull back away from him as my skin tingled.
He placed both my hands in one of his and held them down with his other arm so I couldn't hit him anymore. I stilled trying to think of my next move as bagpipes dusted the glass off him. I couldn't help but notice the way the two men in the front shook with quite laughter.
Ready the plane. I read from the phone the passenger in the front seat had in his hand. I knew I had to act before I was shipped off to God knows where. I was being human trafficked. I had to do something.
I knew I had an ace up my sleeve, but I couldn't get to it with how I currently was seated so I turned toward Xavier and decided to do something that normally I would completely be ashamed of. But I had to, to save my own life. I looked him straight in the eyes and kissed him.
When her soft lips met mine I knew it was the bond pushing her to kiss me, but I wasn't complaining. I moved both my hands to cup her face as she straddled me. Her hands rubbed up my chest and into my hair slightly pulling and tugging, I moaned when one of her hands trailed back down over my side as she opened her mouth to me. I wasted no time thrusting my tounge inside her mouth and savoring her taste.

Laughing my Beta Fergus mumbled too low for my mate to hear "Thank the goddess for the mate bond, maybe she'll calm down now."
My beautiful mate bit my bottom lip as she pulled back and I felt the unmistakable cold steal of a blade against my throat.
"Pull over or I will slit your bosses throat." my mate said with a cold glare.
"Shit, easy there, come on lassie this doesn't have to be this way, put the knife down." Fergus said.
"Fu*k you, you damn leprechaun! You kidnapped me!" She said never taking her eyes off my throat.
I was amused at her vocabulary, I never expected such words to come from someone so beautiful.
I felt the vehicle slow down until we were stopped on the deserted road.
"With your left hand slowly open the door." My mate ordered, I couldn't help the tightness in my pants at how hot she was giving orders.
I did as instructed and she slowly slid off my lap, making me even harder, into the pavement never moving the knife.
"Sorry about this, but you brought it on your self sweetheart." She said as she suddenly thrust the knife into my leg, jerked it out and ran.
I heard Xavier grunt in pain as I took off running down the road praying for a car to come along.
Before I could make it far one of the men from the front grabbed my arm, so I swung my other hand with the knife and jammed it into his shoulder and he dropped my arm. I started to run again only to have Xavier grab me by my waist and the next thing I knew I was up against the SUV with him directly in front of me my holding each of my wrists with his hands.
He towered over my 5ft 9inches and said in a rough tone "That was not nice mate."
"What's not nice is kidnapping someone you psycho bitch!" I screamed in his face.
I wiggled my hand with the knife in it and cut his arm as he let go of my wrist I then thrust the knife into his side, not enough to kill him but enough to get him to back away. As I stood there facing 3 pissed off men I felt something jab the side of my neck. My free hand went up to cradle my neck and I spun around to see bagpipes leaning out of the SUV with an injection syringe in his hand.
"Sorry lass, but we can't have you hurting your self or anyone else." he said sternly.
"You cheated, No fair." I mumbled feeling woosy as I stumbled.
Bagpipes exited the SUV and as I vision clouded over I made a last ditch effort to prove I was not worth the trouble of kidnapping and threw the knife end over end at him. The last thing I saw before the darkness claimed me was him holding his shoulder and cursing. I smiled thinking it served him right.

Necromancer's Resolve
Foster Locke's life wasn't the harshest it could have been. But it wasn't the easiest either. Despite losing the last of his family and having immense debt thrown on him, getting the chance to keep practicing Martial Arts pulled away, and having a completely messed up sleep-schedule, he usually tried his best to stay positive to the outside world. Of course, that wasn't always possible, especially not when he was staring into the glowing eyes of a man-eating creature he had never heard of before. The glowing message-box that accompanied it wasn't much better either. Not to mention the fact that he was suddenly in a dark forest instead of the train station. This isn't a story of great anguish, inescapable peril, or heroic world-saving. Rather, it's one of a young man trying to get by in a world that seems to try his best to kill him. I hope you enjoy the read. --- Cover Image temporary [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
