"Can I come over? Flo and I had a huge fight.. I think we broke up. I... I don't know what to do?"

"Yeah, sure, I'll send you my address."

Shortly after she arrived at a big, beautiful house; her eyes almost popped out of her head. She walks up to the house and knocks on the door.

There are very quiet barks from inside.

Her attention is brought from herself when the door is answered.

"Hey,"

"Hi you, I'm so sorry about this." Hari looks at her feet awkwardly

"Oh, don't be silly," Hailee says as she waves Hari in.

"Come in, come in,"

Martini jumps up dow around Haris feet as she crouches to fuss him.

"He's cute," Hari says, looking up at Hailee.

"Do you want a drink?"

"Oh god yes, please."

Hari stood and followed Hailee.

"This place is incredible."

Hailee looks around. "Meh, it's alright." she laughs slightly.

"Ok, so I don't actually have any drink, so.. Tea?"

"Tea works," Hari smiles at her.

The two are sitting on the sofa as Hari tell her all about the fight they had.

"And she said that she wanted to be with him that I was just a stop cap."

Hari rubs her eyes as tears start to appear.

"Oh, hey, come here." Haliee wrapped her arms around Hari's shoulder and hugs her tightly.

"You know you can stay here as long as you need," Hailee says, comforting Hari.

Later that same night

Hailee tossed and turned in her bed as a terrible nightmare invaded her thoughts.

Hari was asleep in the spare room a few doors away but abruptly woke when she heard noises coming from the direction of Hailee's room. She was hesitant to go check as she didn't want to invade her privacy. Hari got out of bed and started to walk towards her room. The closer Hari got to her room,

The more distraught, she sounded. Hari hesitantly opened the door gently, saying, "Hailee, hey, you ok?"

She looked and could see she was still sleep but thrashing under the sheets. Sweat dripping down her face.

Hari ran over to her and sat at her side, trying to wake her.

Hari was gently shaking her until Hailee shot up scared, not knowing where she was. Or who was sat by her, she punched Hari in the face. Hari held her nose.

Hailee gasped as she relasied what she'd done.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry."

Hailee shot up on her knees next to Hari as she tilted Hari's head back.

"Ok, wait here. Don't move. " Hailee jumped off the bed to grab some ice. She ran downstairs to her freezer and back as quickly as she could.

Hailee sat back in her bed and pulled Hari down to lay her head across her legs as she held the ice on her nose.

"Here I'm so sorry you startled me."

A very quiet "Remind me not to come check in on you any time soon."

Hari winsed slightly at the pain.

Hailee removed the bag of ice.

"How is it?"

Hailee gentlysmoothedg over Hari's nose.

"Does it feel broke?"

Hari couldn't help but admire the way she was being looked after but shook that thought away.

"It.. it feels okay. " she smiled slightly.

Hailee looked down and realised her hand was still on Hari's face; she quickly pulled it away.

"Erm, what do you mean check on me? what.. Why were you checking on me? "

"Oh, you were shouting, and when I came in, you were sweating and kinda trashing under the sheets. I was worried,"

Hailee looked away slightly ashamed; she didn't realise she was still having these nightmares.

"Thank you for checking on me. it was very nice of you, but.. I'm OK, see?" she let out a toothy grin.

Hari laughs

"Yeah, I can see.. I'll erm go back to my room if you're all good then"

Hari lifted herself of Hailee lap and got up to leave. As she got to the door, Hailee stopped her.

"Actually.. Can you stay?"

Hari looked confused

"But you said that."

"I know, look.. Something happened to me a long time ago. I don't want to talk about it.. But I get nightmares.. If you could stay, I'd appreciate it. I might actually fall back to sleep. "

Hari looks at her with considerate eyes.

"Course, I'll stay, and I won't ask any questions."

Hailee settled back into bed with Hari next to her as she faced away, leaving her back to her.

"What you doing over there come here,"

Hailee rolled over and noticed Hari's arms open. she snuggled into her a bit as Hair wrapped her arm around her and held her tight.

Hailee initially tensed up at the action but quickly settled into the warm embrace as she reached out her hand and placed it across Haris stomach.

"Thank you. it's been so long since anyone just held me,"

Hari kissed the top of Hailee's head.

"I got you."

The two drifted to sleep peacefully warm in eachothers arms.

Hailee woke up a few hours later sunlight peaking through her blinds as she went to move she felt a pair of arms alleppey around her waist.As she gently rolled over she remembered the events that happened a few hours prior.

Hailee stared at Haris sleeping face. Seeing all the features she hadn't noticed before, the slight curves in the corners of her mouth the freckles that scattered her face.

An out of place hair ruined the perfect view as she gently tucked it behind Hari's ear.

She'd never noticed how beautiful the girl was.

Guilt raided Hailee's mind as she decided to move away and get up.

She went to the bathroom and splashed the cold water of her face.

"What the hell was that? she's your friend. Her ex-girlfriend is your friend."

She argued with herself in the mirror.

"We're not doing this."

Hailee dried off her face. As she left, she noticed Hari stirring in her sleep....
