"And you're sure you haven't seen her?" Chalynn asked walking into her mothers house. Their mother only lived about 10 minutes from their townhouse yet, they never saw her. Ever since Chalynn was little her mother despised her and she could never quite figure out why.
"No I haven't seen that ungrateful child of mine. Both of you just ungrateful as hell." Loretta spoke closing the door and locking it right behind her. Chalynn shifted her weight on her hip,
"Ungrateful ? I did everything to provide for all of us, when you were laid up with a needle hanging out of your arm. I still loved you mommy, I made sure Marlee was fed and clothed and in school." Chalynn wanted to cry because she just wanted to find her little sister but her mother had to be such a bitch.
"I didn't tell you to let Bryson pimp you out and then lie about him beating you." Her mother scoffed walking from her foyer to her kitchen where her husband Richard was.
"Hey dad." Chalynn looked to Richard as a father figure because he did save her from a lot before him and her mother even got together. Richard was a big time defense attorney, who fell in love with Loretta when they were still teens but she never took him serious until he got a little bit of money.
"Hey baby girl." He kissed her forehead and looked at Loretta, "Why would I lie about him beating me? You saw the pictures mommy. Whatever I'm not about to argue with you. Daddy if you see Marlee call me please." Lay couldn't believe what her mother was saying to her, why would she lie about something so big. Richard nodded and Loretta waved her off, she left her mothers house with nothing left to say to her.

Key sat at his cousins dinning room table where his wife Mia had cooked for them. "Tre Tre and Aria come eat." Pitter patter sounded through the home as the children's small feet carried them into the dinning room.
They took their seats next to their cousin, "Ya'll wash them nasty hands?" Key joked as he tickled the both of them, cracking up with laughter they both left out of their seats and came back with freshly washed hands. Mia laughed a thank you and set the plates in front of the children.
Both of them knowing not to touch their food until they've said their prayers. "Thanks for dinner bae." Dolph said as he sat down at the head of the table, Mia kissed his cheek as she set his plate down before making Keys and her own. Once they all had their plates and said their prayers they began to eat.
"Markeyvius when are you going to settle down and find you a nice wholesome woman." Mia joked with him, they knew that he had a daughter but knew he didn't want to be with their mother.
"He's dating some girl. Had her at the studio." Dolph told on him and he smacked his lips, "Ohh okay then! How come I haven't met her yet?" Mia asked taking a bite out of her cornbread.
"I haven't met her either." Dolph chimed in putting some hot sauce on his greens, "Damn, I can't even get a word in." Key chuckled thinking about Chalynn and how she needed a break.
"Her weirdo best friend told her about Eliana. So, she just said she needed some time but she was pissed." He thought about how cute she was rolling her neck and pointing her finger at him.

"I mean, I would be mad too. You didn't really give her a decision." Mia shrugged her shoulders, "Why is she weird because she was looking out for her friend?" Mia asked looking up from her plate.
"She wants me. You know all the bitties love them some Key but she sent me pictures from Chalynn's phone of her .. you know." Key said not wanting to go into detail in front of the kids.
"Wait .. Lay Lay from Keisha's soup kitchen?" Mia and Chalynn weren't the best of friends but they did talk whenever Mia decided to step into the soup kitchen to volunteer.
"I love Lay Lay." Tre Tre said, he had a minor crush on her and he only saw her a handful of times. Key took that into note
"Yeah, that's her." He nodded his head, "I didn't peg you for her type but Bria is weird, isn't she Brittany's sister? That's messy." Dolph just took in the conversation, "Lay Lay is a really nice girl and she's about her bread and her family. I hope ya'll work it out." Mia said honestly.
"Man, she down too. We got pulled over the other day and the officer asked me to step out the car he was about to check my shit. I'm thinking like damn, I'm about to have to post bail, he let us go and shorty showed me that she hid my glizock in her purse. Her little mocha fingers trembling and shit as she showed me. It let me know that she might be the one." The smile on his face as he told the story let his family know that he really liked her.
"Take that time to get things in order with Brittany and let her know that Chalynn is who you're going to be with and that you only want a relationship with your daughter. When ya'll do come back together, bring her over for dinner." Mia smiled at her husbands cousin, she was happy to see him finally taking a girl serious.
"You mean if ? I'm not waiting around for no girl its been 3 weeks already." Key scoffed, "That smile on your face tells me a different story." Dolph chuckled watching his cousins face fall, Key was whipped and hadn't even had sex with her yet. Mia gave him different things he could do to get her to talk to him and he wrote everything down. He was going to give her all the time she needed.

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
