《Luv A Thug (Key Glock)》A.

Walking into the radio station Chalynn smiled to herself, this was her first big interview and she was excited to blow it out of the water. She was also nervous about it, usually in his interviews he was one of those people who was standoffish. He had really been open in the past but she was hoping that she could get him to be open with her.
Chalynn's phone buzzed,
Sissy: Tell Glock I said hi.
She laughed at her sister's message and put her phone away as she opened her Macbook for the questions that she had for him.
"Don't forget, your career relies on this interview." Her boss Don warned, while he was partly joking, he wasn't in the same sense.
Key Glock was the first big named artist to touch their radio show in a while and if this interview went badly he would be the last. Rappers didn't like interviews where they touched too much on their personal lives or questions that were rude or antagonizing.
"I know Don, no need to make me even more nervous." Chalynn sucked in her breath. She heard a loud commotion in the hallway and her heart dropped. Key Glock stepped into the building with about 10 different men behind him.
Chalynn stood to her feet and smiled as she made eye contact with Key glock. Lay being her awkward self didn't know whether or not to hug him or give him a hand shake. Does he even want me to touch him? Chalynn was starstruck, Key chuckled at the beautiful girl in front of his face that was at a loss for words. He watched as she just stood there staring at him.
"Chalynn !" Don hissed causing everybody in the room to look his way, the special guest scratched the back of his head because he didn't like how the man was speaking to her.
"I'm sorry. Have a seat here. I'm Chalynn." She spoke rather nervously, Don wasn't helping the situation and he just embarrassed her in front of their guest. She held her hand out to motion for him to sit down in the chair. Glock noticed how shy she was and decided to spark a blunt, after taking a few pulls from it he handed it over to
Chalynn who looked at her boss before accepting it. He encouraged her to take it from Glock, she wasn't a huge smoker she did it every now and then. She could thank her little sister for that, "Thank you." Taking a full long pull from it and coughed a little bit. She covered her mouth with the crevice of her arm and handed the blunt back to its owner. Key eyed her smirking, "You're welcome pretty." Shying away from his gaze she slowly felt her body begin to relax.

Don walked over to her and placed his hand on her shoulder and lightly squeezed it. Bending down to her ear he whispered something to her that not only made her uncomfortable but it made her want to quit.
"Don't fuck this up." She nodded her head as she noticed Key about to get out of his seat. He hated seeing women get disrespected in any way shape or form in front of him.
"Let's start the interview." Chalynn intervened as a chill went down her spine.
It was only a matter of time before a big time radio station wanted to hire her and then she was out of here leaving creepy ass Don in the dust. Walking back to his seat and getting situated Don began the count down with his fingers.
"Good morning Memphis, thank you for listening to 106.7 on your way to wherever you're going. It's your fave Lay Lay and today I have Key Glock in the building." Chalynn said a little too enthusiastically, she giggled at herself and tried to straighten up this is what happens when she smokes.
"We're going to jump right into the questions. If that's okay with you?" She asked him as she unlocked her laptop.
"Fa sho." His Memphis accent popped out with everything he said, she took a deep breath and read off the first question.
"All of your cars are yellow, is that your favorite color?" He exhaled the smoke before answering,
"My great grandma's favorite color was yellow, it's really like gold. I also like red though."
Chalynn nodded her head, "Your grandmother raised you right?" Key nodded his head, "Yes, I love my grandmother, she's my heart." Chalynn melted at his answer, a family man was so attractive to her.
"What's your relationship like with your mother now that you're older?" She was genuinely interested and forgot that they were even doing an interview.
"We're like best friends actually, it was hard growing up without my mom but my grandmother and auntie did the best that they could." Key shared what he wanted to, not too much and not too little.
"That's great honestly, it definitely takes a village to raise a child and your village did an amazing job." Key cheesed at her, "Thank you, I'm sure they love hearing that."
"Of course, so your album drops soon what should we expect on Yellow Tape two?" Chalynn looked intently at him as he thought about his answer, "I feel like I'm rapping more aggressively. I had to come back and prove my point again. That I murder everything that I do." He shrugged his shoulders and chuckled, Chalynn shifted in her seat thinking about what body part he could murder on her.

"I feel that for sure, well I am definitely excited about this project you're about to release and we are going to wrap up because I know you're a busy man." Chalynn paused, giving Key the time to interject, "You a fan of my music?" Chalynn nodded her head, "My sister and I are." Marlee was going to love her for that, "What's your favorite song?" He took a sip from his cup and waited for her answer. He didn't think the pretty girl would know any of the songs and he tried to catch her bluff. He could tell she was from the nicer parts of Memphis, she was shy and gave him saditty vibes.
"How can I pick one? Russian Cream, Mr. Glock, 1 of 1, I'm just sayin, Cocky. Like the list definitely goes on." Key nodded his head, impressed by her. "The last question I have for you today is, which car is your favorite and why?" She flipped her hair over her shoulder as she waited for a response. "My maybach and I can show you better than I can tell you." He smirked once more before taking his final sip from his cup.
Chalynn felt herself heat up as he said those words, you can show me anything. She thought to herself, she was definitely a shy girl but when she was intoxicated she was somebody completely different and she was excited that she was done with this interview because the pressure she was under was too much, she felt as though she was about to explode.
"Thank you again for taking the time to come to the show. It's ya girl Lay Lay and I pray you have a blessed day. Ciao!" Once she signed off of the air she turned to her special guest she noticed Don was out of the room and Key was grabbing his things to leave.
"My sister wanted me to ask you if you could sign this for her." She shuffled through her bag and Key examined her fully, typically the outfit she had on: a black bralette with boxer type shorts and a black and white checkered blazer and black lace up heels would be weird but she made it look very good. He loved a woman who had her own style and could make it look good.
She handed him the tape and while he signed it she had a chance to look over his fit. He had on a plain white tee with a tan Louis Vuitton monogram denim jacket, Amiri rainbow crystal skinny jeans, white/ valor blue and tech gray Jordan retro three jordans and a white with baby blue letters Lakers snapback. His jewelry completed his look, the fact that he smelled good with that little hint of weed was enough to sweep Chalynn off her feet.
He cleared his throat, to save her from further embarrassment he decided not to laugh at her trying to check him out on the sly, "What's your sister's name?" He asked, "It's Marlee." She grabbed her phone and keys because this interview was the only thing she had to do today. He handed the CD back to her, "It was nice to meet you."
"You too, Marlee is going to love this." He looked her up and down before responding, "I hope you find something in there that you love too." Unsure of what he meant she nodded and extended her hand out to him. He put his hand against hers and she felt her body tingle, moving her eyes from her hand to his eyes. She tried to see if they would tell her if he felt the same thing but his eyes were almost emotionless.
"You ready to go Glock?" A member of his entourage asked, he nodded his head and politely dropped her hand.
She watched the fine man infront of her walk away, she sighed and followed out behind them to avoid Don's creepy ass. Once she made it to her car, without checking her phone because she knew her family and friends were blowing her up, she drove home. She parked in her garage and pulled out the CD that he signed for her sister. She got out of her car and walked into her house where she was greeted by her sister Marlee. Marlee was a very good kid. She was graduating this year and she wanted to go off to college next fall.
"Did you get it?" Marlee asked damn near knocking her older sister over, "Well thank you for asking Marlee the interview went great. But yes, I got it." Chalynn chuckled as she held it up in her hand, Marlee snatched the CD and squealed. "I have to go tell all of those bitches at my school." Lay gave her sister a serious look and she apologized for her vulgar language.
Before Chalynn could even sit down and enjoy a glass of wine her little sister was back in her face. "I think that this is for you." She handed her older sister a one hundred dollar bill that had a note on the back of it,

8 101The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
