Being that one friend that everyone can trust,

knowing oh so much.

Comforting them before yourself,

even if you can't.

Learning and growing with them so you're nothing

but strong.

At least you think, but not for long.

Then comes a day it all crumbles

and you mumble,

"Why am I in pain?"

Your mind strains.

Questioning even though you know the answer.

You sit there and think,
