《MUSINGS.. A collection of poetry》Who to blame??

Happy, lush and green

Among the wild, dense fauna,

Played in joy and gaiety,

Plenty of cute, little koala

Youthful, funny, kangaroos so pretty.

Lazily they slept in comfort,

Under the warm cocoon;

Safe from the outside world,

Hiding in their fuzzy pouches.

Grazed in harmony,lived in peace

Ran and hopped,trees they climbed;

Endless seemed the serene island,

Enveloping in, all its bounty in bay,

Not any less, until one fateful day..

Gone, were the good ol' days,

Only thirst,heat welcomed their ways;

Nature, ofcourse, can be gruesome,

Evil and cunning,as a disaster it come.

Sad, parched and brown,

Amber,became grass green ground;

Dead-looking and lifeless, 'twas found.

Plenty became so so sparse,

As blazing fire, invaded their homes,

Ran they all, as fast as they could,

Climbing trees,now didn't give solace;

Horrendous and dreadful, dark it was

Erupting wreckage, a doom it caused,

Disquiet, restless and anxious..

Blame the nature or call out men? But

Relief never came from any blame game.

Only a few, lines to remember,

We don't have now, the best of earth.

Never before, were such often dearth.

Now is the time, to be more conscious

Of duty as humans,citizens of earth.

World is theirs, as much as it's ours..
