《MUSINGS.. A collection of poetry》Faith and Courage

I believe in making the world better,
Doing the right, the very best, for myself, for others,
Like the Missile Man of India,
Malala, Mahatma and many more.
Following my passion, at times I falter and even fall;
I search my soul then, and I find the true gem,
That guiding lantern- a flicker of faith
In God, in myself, in humanity, in life.
Like the lonely star in a deep, dark night
My dream shines amidst clouds of doubt and fear,
The courage in my spirit screams at me,
"Take the leap, it is hard, but it gets better."
That moment I realize:
We all fail at some point
But we never fail forever;
As long as I get up and get going,
Falling down cannot stop me
From reaching the destination I aim for.
I do not know of all that lies ahead, but I know that
With faith and courage, I will walk on, and on, and on...

What is your notion of faith?
What/who gives you the courage to do what you believe in doing?
Leave your thoughts here for the Wattpad world to see and think about..
Take care. Stay safe.
Love and peace✌

The Sorcerer's Apprentice
A world where magic must be hidden from mankind is a world where mages have no reason to exist. Zara was one of them--a young woman forced to spend her days in confinement, to lessen the risks of outsiders discovering the truth. She was not human. She was, as they say, a living embodiment of a thousand year old curse upon the Kingdom and humanity as a whole. And the only way to handle a curse is to get rid of it--which is precisely what the Kingdom had been doing for centuries--eliminating any being that contained even an ounce of enchanted blood. Zara has lived most of her life with the threat of death hanging over her head, though it never averted her heightening curiosity about magic, nor the abilities innate within her. And when a powerful, enigmatic Sorcerer comes to her with a proposition, Zara finally sees her chance to embrace the curse she was born with. It was a chance laced with precarity and destruction, but a chance nonetheless...

Virtuous Sons: A Greco Roman Xianxia
Book one now available on Kindle. The saying goes that when a man is born the Fates weave his destiny and swaddle him in it. Then one day the man dies, and the swaddle becomes a shroud. Heaven moves on. It is audacity to question the Fates. Olympus is Olympus. The land of men is the land of men. To transgress that, to cross the line of divinity and scale Olympus Mons? To defy the Fates and cast off their threads? That is hubris. It’s a mark that every philosopher bears plainly on their soul.
