《Attending a Vampire School》Not an update BUT...

Well hello there! If you're reading this, that means you're interested in what I'm writing. And that makes me extremely happy that you're here, but I've got some good and bad news for you.
I absolutely loved writing . It was my pride and joy when I was younger, and it still is in a way. I began writing it when I was 15 and in no way could I have predicted what would become of the story. But the main problem lied in that I started writing the story when I had no idea of the direction I wanted it to go in. And that ultimately led to my later struggle to even write a sentence.
I ran out of inspiration. The story felt like it was all over the place. Some readers didn't like my protagonist and I started to feel that way too. It started as a story that I was obsessed with and turned into something that felt more like a burden when it used to be my escape.
And it honestly broke my heart to see people so upset with chapters that were taking too long to come out or that they didn't have the quality they used to have.
I tried to come back after a long hiatus. I have changed and grown in so many more ways than imaginable. I've never forgotten this story and these characters. I've dreamed up being able to come back and finish this story.
But I don't think I can fulfill THAT exact wish.
I think there's something else I can do and that I really want to do.
Okay, hear me out.
What if I reinvent the story? We keep our beloved characters and underlining plot. But it's improved. For example, aging up the characters. I'm no longer in highschool, I don't feel like I would enjoy writing characters from that perspective anymore. Let's start with college aged characters then. That means darker, more mature themes. Including but not limited to: epic battle scenes, blood and more actual vampire action, and some smoochy smooch *wink wink*

Also since the characters have aged up, that means their personalities are going to be a *tad* more mature. Meaning some intense and chaotic scenes between characters would likely happen ;)
I've been coming up with a fascinating fantasy story that will include so much more than the original. A story should after all be a one, shouldn't it? The pieces are starting to come together in a way I couldn't have ever imagined when I first started.
I hope you can have a bit of an open mind to this idea. The time I said I was going to come back and finish, I sincerely meant it. I really wanted to do that, but it wasn't the right time yet. Now I finally feel like I'm ready to start something new and finish it. And who knows what the future holds and where this new story might lead to.
I don't have any concrete writing I'm ready to share with y'all yet, but I CAN give y'all my current concept of the cover + story description :)
Here you go, please give me your honest opinion about it!
S U M M A R Y:
Saige undertakes a top secret mission to infiltrate Wintercrest Academy and save her mother from the cold hands of Carnage.
Gentle natured Saige Morwen lives like any other college student does. But her relatively normal life transforms into one filled with blood and secrets when her mother goes missing in Canada. The confidential military division known as the Sun Tracers contacts Saige, insisting she is the only person who can save her mother. Saige accepts the call for help and decides to set out on the dangerous journey to Rivière-Éternité, a municipality with a lair full of monsters.
Yet unbeknownst to our protagonist, this isolated place is not like any other. Wintercrest Academy trains this world's strongest generation of beings. Stories of ancient magic and supernatural creatures are not just fairytales here. Saige will have to risk her mortal life and newfound love with the King of Lies to rescue the last parent she has left.

Will the power of the blood in the pendant be enough to save everyone or will it only lead to her demise?

And here's the cover art:
So yeah, I hope you like what you've seen so far. I'm not sure when I can give a release date. I want to hear the opinion of the people first before I finalized anything. And I want to have a few chapters done and edited before I start posting any.
I hope you understand and can have a little bit more patience for something I'm beyond excited to introduce to everyone.
OH, and you might have noticed my slightly new profile look. I'm hoping to finish building a PC soon and not only do I hope to spend lots of time writing, I hope to also game and produce content until my heart can't take it anymore. I've got a new name and a new look, hope you don't mind too much about the little change.
Finally, I'm intrigued at what you might have to say about this little sneak peek at what's to come. Till next time readers!

College. For Ben's lifelong friend Sarah, it's the gateway to adulthood - a place for him to study, find a decent career, and maybe even a cute girlfriend. It's the beginning of their successful lives together, something they've been planning since before middle school. For Ben, it's more about finally getting to wave goodbye to his tyrannical father and live his own life. It's definitely NOT the place to get lonely, get drunk, and have sex with his crazy roommate.Featured on WP's NA reads of the month September 2020
