《Elian's Grimoire》Epilogue (The Siblings)

The cold wind blows with the creeping night continues its engulfing of the world in darkness, the trees in the forest sings and dances to the icy breeze playing a melodic tune join by a choral of the night creatures. Then a platter of torch light starts to illuminates the dark forest like fireflies.
“Damn! We fall asleep, this is embarrassing”
“It’s weird, I never experience that kind of sleep”
“I know I just drink a little why?”
“You drink when?”
A bunch of chatter was uttered by the people in the forest breaking the night’s natural music of the forest, a lady sitting on a lodge beside the dead hearth on the other hand was dead silence completely ignoring the chatter and the cold winds. She scans the area, the dark forest, the night sky even the grass in their feet, she feels something is not right but she can’t pin point what is it, then on the end of her vision she sees a cavern, an old mine. She is compelled by it like moths to a lantern light, she doesn’t know why but she wants to go inside.
“Dumbos! Quiet, we are retreating first, to that cavern. I know what you all feel, we must regroup and think about what happen”
She shouted to the array of people, in which they easily oblige, clearly acknowledging her authority.
“Come! Let’s move”
She leads the group into the abandoned mine, the line of torches light follows like lanterns in the city night. The group reach the entrance of the mine; they are welcome by its void darkness waiting to engulf the group. She puts forward her torch to the entry, lighting the opening painting the cavern with its yellow light but the eeriness remains.
“Let’s go! Be careful entering there might be loose rocks or nails”

“Ma’am?” one of her person raises a hand, and the rest suddenly looks at him.
“What?” She annoyingly asked. She clearly hate being interrupted.
“Why are we going inside?” the man asked.
“Did you hear me earlier or are you not listening? We are here to regroup dumbass!”
“I heard but do we need to go inside for that?”
“Really? Dumbo!” She hit the man in the head making the rest flinches.
“Do you want to stay in the cold outside with the wild animals or here in warm place” She added.
“No I-ii”
“Scared? Aren’t you?”
“NO!” he quickly yelled.
“Good. then follow, anyone scared?”
“None ma’am!”
“Then shut the hells up and follow, oh and you the one who asked go first” she said as she points at the man.
The man was swiftly pushed into the front of the group of people at his back, he almost falls but hastily finds his footing and moves forward bit by bit which made the woman’s annoyance, worse.
The group travels unhurried like snails in the garden but still moves deeper in to the dark cavern but their light is gradually getting dimmer every passing time but she ignores it and still pushes forward with her hand at the scared man forcefully making it moves faster. However, as they descend deeper it becomes quieter. The coming silence is deafening; she cannot ignore it anymore; she then looks at the back. The previous line of light is gone, his men are gone, leaving no trace behind, she hastily looks back at the annoying man and to her surprise he’s gone as well.
“Hahaha funny!”
She shouted, but it merely echoes through the darkness. Her torch suddenly unlighted, chills felt throughout her body, she begins sweating like she run for miles, her legs begin shaking as a warm liquid flows through her legs. Her feet move spontaneously as she run to any direction she can run to, her hand reach out to the darkness to guide herself and avoid any walls. Eventually, a light, shinning like a beacon over the end of the tunnel, she hurries further, running for her dear life and finally she reaches the light.

A stranger who’s hand has long claws bathe with blood; his missing men are there surrounding the stranger with their bloodied bodies mangled with each other like treads in a tapestry and the scared man head is at its mouth draining it with its long fangs. Suddenly their both eyes met then a scream was heard all over the dark cavern.
The cold night continues its melancholic melody while her screech echoes within the deep cavern. A single torch light shine upon again the cavern, presenting a blood red dyed place, bodies decorates the area like furniture. Then the one who had the torch light simply walks pass all of the grotesque then abruptly a hand grab his feet.
“He-help m-ee” the woman begs bleeding out the floor detached from her lower torso.
But the man downright ignores her then said.
“What a carnage, still hungry… or angry?”
As the stranger word echoes to the room, a man soaked of blood appears at the darkness in front of the new comer then knees in front of him.
“My lord, my humble apologies”
The man spoke with elegance contrast to his bloodied appearance.
The stranger waves his hand gesturing as if it was nothing then sits on a chair covered in blood. The bloodied man then stands and tried to fix his appearance to no avail, then spoke.
“My lord, I was defeated, forgive my insolence” he then bows his head to the stranger.
The stranger stands, then move closer to the bloodied man and touches his chin and lifts it to look at its eye, red as the blood with unquenchable anger that still lingers its dark pupil.
“Well my sister is inhumanly strong and his new found friends are terrifying shrewd” giving the man a devilishly grin showing his own fangs.

Anti-Hero: Journey of Fear
There is a story where the hero makes friends, completes quests, and saves the world. This is NOT that story. In the VR world of Fate: Experience Acute Realism, the main character cuts his way through both the players and NPCs alike. This story takes a close look at how a true full immersion VR would be played. The setting is an open VR world where the players struggle to survive with a lack of knowledge and the NPCs panic in regards to the Travelers invading their world. The anti-hero of this story is cold and calculating. Sparing no one from his reign of terror he gives into occasional bouts of kindness before he is forced back on the path of blood and tears. For where there is a hero who seeks to bring people together to help the world move forward, there is an anti-hero who brings people together to seize the world for himself. WARNING: This story contains extreme violence, in every single chapter. This story contains references to sex, but no explicit scenes. This story has light to mild swearing. My chapters normally range from 4,000 to 5,000 words. This story does not contain happy endings, middles, or even beginnings.
