Amber was breathless.

She was frozen still in her spot due to those words that have left jungkooks lips.

She looks into Jungkook eyes to see if he was serious. It wasn't as she didn't like him but she was scared. Scared because will she be ready for this next step?

She was also frozen because she was surprised, shock even because she couldn't believe those words that came out. Words she never expected to hear due to the curse, due to her being committed only to work and family.

But yet here was jungkook, standing in front of her, asking her to be his girlfriend. She didn't even think he would stay by her side, due to lack of interest but yet he stayed.

He stayed and was able to break down her walls, he stayed because he liked her.

And she couldn't believe that someone actually likes her, right now it's just hitting her in the face as she's takes in jungkooks words.

"I know your scared and you don't have to say yes nor stay it right now but I really like you amber and I want to appreciate you the time I have with you because we may never know if we will be erased from each other." Jungkook says while looking down at amber.

"Yes, I'm scared at the fact that it might happen but I don't want to have any regrets." Amber looks away and down at her feet, eyes burning as she's wanting to cry but holding them. She hates it.

She hates that she's been more emotional lately, letting her tears fall basically every day and it scares her but Jungkook was right there. Right there to be there for her because it was all new to her.

She was used to only crying on the anniversary, once a year and yet now she tends to let them emotions fall, wrecking her. But she wasn't judged by Jungkook.

And that made her like him even more than she already does. She appreciates him. And now she has her answer.

She looks up and jungkooks heart saddens as tears were beginning to form in her amber eyes. She gulps before stepping closer to him. She stays quiet and at her quietness worries Jungkook.

"Yes...I will like to be your girlfriend because I don't want to have any regrets as well." As she says that, a tear falls down before Jungkook happily lifts her up in the air while laughs come out from amber.

He puts her down on her feet before making eye contact with amber. Both hearts are beating faster by each inch that was closing due to both of them leaning in.

Their faces, so close, could only be closed by one small movement, they stare into each other's eyes before closing the gap, lips were collided under the lights above them. Molding into each other, as if they were perfect for each other. As both of them get fireworks fired in them.

They both pull away before jungkook embracing her into his arms, wanting to secure her from the world, wanting her to be safe in his arms, wanting her to have a home in him.

They both enjoy each other's embraces before they decide to go get ice cream and go to a park.

They have a great time while they play hide and go seek, tag, play fighting and they were both happy.

"I will fight you kook." Amber says while having her fist, ready in the air to fight kook as he just tackled her to the ground after he found her while amber was trying to cheat by running away.

"I will like to see you try." Jungkook says with a smirk before he playful brings his right leg up, close to her stomach.

Both amber and jungkook laugh. Both have a good time now that it was seven.

They both lay on the ground, while looking up at the cloudless sky. "Okay tiny, be ready for tomorrow because we are gonna tell your brother and grandmother." Amber eyes widen before trying to cover his eyes. "Yah!"

"Not ready!" She says dramatically. Jungkook laughs, his eyes crinkled shut while his bunny smile was full on display, for amber, the world, and the universe to see.

"I'm playing but should we really? I mean we just started not to long ago." Jungkook chuckles. "The sooner, the better." Amber smiles before turning her head to look at jungkook, to see he was already staring at her.

"And they will be happy for you am." Amber gives him a small smile. "Wait but are you guys sure I deserve this stuff? Lik-" jungkook interrupts her. "Amber, you truly deserve happiness, after years of not receiving any nor pushing it away because you were committed to only your grandma and brother. I love that about you but it hurts to think you don't deserve a shot of happiness." Jungkooks heart saddens at the thought of what amber had just said.

"I want my family happy first, only then will I be happy, because I feel like if I'm happy, there's always something wrong and my happiness will be ruined. I'm scared of that. I don't want that." Amber says before gazing up at the night sky, thoughts clouding her mind.

She felt as if herself is forbidden to be happy. She felt as if she's gets a chance to be happy, something bad will happen and she's scared to think that will happen. She felt as though she doesn't deserve happiness but Jonathan words have gotten to her and she wants to try at least.

All of this is too new to her, she doesn't remember the last time she has genuinely had a good time. All of her childhood memories were replaced with work, Jonathan and her grandmother. That's all the memories she has.

"Look am, When i first saw you, you have interested me to you, making want to know more about you because you were different, you had this cold aura and you weren't those girls that would chase me and date me for my looks. The more I got to know you, the more I realized why." Jungkook as he was looking up the dark sky.

"And as you let me in, I was beginning to feel your warm aura. And I realized you had a warm aura the entire time, you just shut it out, forbidden it to come out." Amber lips form into a thin line.

Jungkook was right, she had forbidden herself for happiness. She even forgotten that she was warm and happy, kind and always light up the room when ever she walked in.

"Okay." She softly says before turning her head to the side to look at jungkook. "We'll tell both of them tomorrow but when I'm done after work." Jungkook nods before looking back at her. "We should also tell our friends." Amber whines. "Krystal will get crazy though." Amber pouts. Jungkook chuckles. "She's cool, I like her aura."

Amber chuckles as well. She met krystal on the first day she decided to work at the coffee shop, she helped her around and get familiar around the place and give her instructions on what she needs to do which was two years ago. "Also Johnny's girlfriend Luna, she's chill." Amber nods. "She along with me are the quiet ones." Jungkook smiles.

Amber met Luna through Jonathan's soccer practice, she was walking by until Jonathan accidentally kicked the ball to her head. Both amber and Jonathan quickly ran to her and since then Jonathan and Luna became best friends. Which was a year ago.

There was always something missing as pieces of memories were erased between Jonathan and Luna.

Amber was more closer to krystal though as she was more outgoing and always came to ambers place without ambers permission.

"Okay." Jungkook sighs before getting up from the ground, looking down at amber and takes his large hands out. "Let's go home and get rest because you have work." Amber chuckles but nods before taking jungkooks hand.

"Let's go bunny boy." She said before running away. Jungkook groans. "Come back here shorty!" Jungkook shouts out loud before chasing after her as they leave the theme park with smiles on their faces.

Both jungkook and amber were busy, amber at the coffee shop with krystal while krystal brightens up the atmosphere with her warm and crazy aura as amber told about her and jungkook.

While jungkook was at the gym with his best friend jimin, working out but jimin jumping around happily as jungkook made it official.

"It still feels unreal like.." jungkook begins to speak with a big smile on his face. Jimin looks at him with a soft smile, happy for him that he found someone that was worth it.

Worth the pain.

Jimin's heart suddenly sadness but shows a smile to jungkook because jimin felt empty, he felt something was missing and yet, he wouldn't want that for jungkook.

He knew that jungkook felt empty because his father wasn't in his life nor knew who or where he is. But if the curse were to get between amber and jungkook, he wouldn't forgive him self.

But it was still better than nothing, not wanting to forget each other with regrets.

Jungkook doesn't work because he's technically a teacher for gym classes. He would instruct people that come to work out, giving them tips on what they need to work on to reach the goal they want to reach.

Jungkook was outside, waiting for amber to come out as she had just finished her, which she's closing the cafe. It was eight at night, jungkook planed to go to ambers grandmothers hotel and tell her the news along with Jonathan as he sent him a message a few minutes to go at the hotel.

"Hey tiny." Jungkook says with a happy smile when ambers opens the car door and gets in the passenger side. Amber sighs and leans against the chair. "Hey biker boy." Jungkook groans. "Yah, I'm not even wearing my leather jacket." He says with a pout. Amber chuckles before looking to the side and looks at jungkook.

"You know the way right?" Jungkook nods, as it will be the first time jungkook drives them to the hotel as he payed attention to where the location was at. "Lead the way sir." Jungkook grins. "Yes ma'am." Amber rolls her eyes with a giggle.

After driving for a few minutes, they arrive at the hotel and pull up to the parking area by the office, where Jonathan's car was at.

Both jungkook and amber get out the car, jungkook locking the car behind them as they head to the office. They both nervously look at each other before amber pulls out the key to the office and opens the door, both jungkook and amber walk in and amber closes the door behind her while locking it.

They both head to the living room where Jonathan and their grandmother were talking at. Both Jonathan and his grandma, look towards the two people that appeared.

"Okay so we called because we wanted to tell you guys something." Jonathan immediately gasps dramatically. "Amber...you are not...preg-" amber immediately goes up to him and gently smacks Jonathan on the head. "No, i am not." Her grandmother laughs at the scene.

Her grandmother has a feeling what they wanted to say and she's hoping she was right because she'll finally be at ease.

"So both me and amber are together." Jonathan jumps up from the couch and jumps happily. "Yay! Now my sister can get off my back!" Amber scoffs before pulling Jonathan by the arm, landing him back onto the couch.

Her grandmother smiles at jungkook as he was nervously fidgeting with his fingers. She felt her heart beginning to ease in happiness as she was glad amber is finally going to be okay now that she'll be able to be at peace with no worries.

The four of them spend time together and have a good time as amber cooks a meal for everyone. The atmosphere was warm and happy. It was now ten at night when amber decides she sleepover as she's planning to clean the rooms in the morning for her grandmother to sleep and rest more.

"algessseubnida halmeoni, yag-eul meog-eossjyo?" ( okay grandma, you took your pills right? ) Amber says as she helps her grandmother in bed. She nods before amber helps her slowly laid her down and tucks her in the covers.

"hyusig-eul chwihagi jeon-e daleun geos-i pil-yohabnikka?" ( do you need anything else before I leave you to rest? ) Amber ask as she was having this weird and bad feeling in her gut, she felt the need to not let leave her alone tonight.

She shakes her head. Amber nods before standing up, as she was about to turn away to get something, her grandmother gently and weakly grabs her wrist. Amber turns to look at her before instantly sitting down. "gwaenchanh-a?" ( you okay? ) Amber ask worriedly as when her grandmother touched her, her hands felt cold and weak.

"dangsin-eun geuwa hamkke haengboghabnikka?" ( are you happy with him? ) Amber softly chuckles. "ne, halmeoniege wae mul-eo bonayo?" ( yes, why do you ask grandma? ) Amber ask.

Her grandmother gives her a weak smile. "naneun dangsin-eul wihae neomu haengboghabnida. dangsin-eun haengbog-eulbad-eul jagyeog-i issseubnida." ( nothing but I'm so happy for you dear. You deserve happiness so much. ) Amber eyes begin to tear.

"hajiman jegai halmeonileulbad-eul jagyeog-i iss-eodo gwaenchanhseubnikka? haengboghan dong-an nappeun il-i balsaenghamyeon eotteolkkayo?" ( but is it really okay for me to deserve this grandma? What if something bad happens while I'm happy. ) Ambers voice cracks.

At ambers words, her grandmothers heart aches and mentally shatters into pieces. She didn't want to leave her...but she didn't want to burden her with her health when amber is supposed to be having fun while she's still young, not working.

She's still a child in heart. She was just only young when she's started working and having big responsibilities. She was only young when she had to grow up and throw away her childhood for her and Jonathan.

She should be happy. Be free.

That's all she wanted for amber. And now that she has jungkook, she's free, happy.

And that's all that matters.

"ani, nae salang ... haengboghaedo gwaenchanhji man neoneun ... nae salang-eulbad-eul jagyeog-iiss-eo." ( no my dear, it's okay to be happy but you...You deserve it my love. ) Amber sighs, then a tear falls down from her orange eyes.

"jigeumbuteo yagsog hae jusimyeon haengboghasil geobnida." ( promise me from now on, you'll be happy. ) Amber looks up at her, her lips form into a thin line.

"geuleona-" ( but- ) Amber gets interrupted. "salang-eul yagsoghaseyo." ( promise me love. ) Her grandmother says firmly but with gentleness while amber sighs, placing her hands onto her grandmother hands. She nods. "naneun halmeonileul yagsoghanda" ( i promise grandma. ) Amber says before slightly standing and lean over to her to give her a hug.

"modeun geos-e gamsahabnida, halmeoni salanghabnida." ( thank you for everything, I love you grandma. ) Amber says, making her grandmother smile into the hug.

"geuligo nan dangsin-eul salanghabnida." ( and I love you. ) Her grandmother says.

Amber pecks her forehead and tucks her in the covers just in case she'll get cold. She smiles down at her grandmother, before leaving her to rest.

When amber leaves the room, she doesn't know that she won't be ready for the next morning.
