The Sun nurtures.
The Darkness takes.
The Monsters devour.
Vitality of generations has slowly withered in the lack of light.
It is in the dark that fear was born, and it is in the flickering lights that hope persists.
Castor was born to Smith and Lily, but he was raised by the Sun. In His mothers sickness the father remained distant. Performing the minimum care for the young boy. Many times he left his son in the care of his subordinates, as he elected to provide for Lily with as much effort possible.
It was in this negligence that a genius became aware of the world.
Far healthier than any other babies his age, the caretakers began to make note of his exceptional development.
Sitting up, standing, and walking in half the time others keyed them into the developing physique of this young boy.
They did not know the cause, and just attributed it to good genetics. With b”no intention of trying to learn more, simple caretakers they were.
But Castor was aware of the truth. He saw as the brilliant rays of the sun descended upon him in the most crucial moments of his life so far, and filled him with more strength.
The light shimmers in front of him like a screen before disappearing once more, unable to read or comprehend the symbols before him Castor just bathed in the light as he strove to reach the next milestone in his short life so far.
In this way the boy grew.
5 years later and the boy was given the freedom to train with his fathers subordinates.
2 years after that he began to rival the weaker trainers.
2 years after that he was firmly in middle ranks of their strength.
During this time he never stopped training himself to exceed his limits and be filled with the light once more.

He was a man determined, and commanded great respect from those his age in the slums. They seemed to view him as their leader, and tried to tag along in his many training sessions.
He looked at the few of them left, only 3 who were gasping in exhaustion. After trying to maintain a fraction of his exertion.
Smiling Castor moved back into position as he pushed himself into motion, following his self created movements.
~~~~~
When he felt the next pulse of energy he looked at the screen, asked it to stay, and read what he could. Ignoring the many unintelligible marks that were still present years after he first learned to read the messages.
He didn't know what the numbers meant exactly, but could see the effects of his extremely high vitality. Healing wounds from training almost overnight. With the staying power of a fully grown man was a marvelous feat.
~~~~~
He knew that this was something special. All those years ago he was given up by a father who had grown to despise him since his birth. He never confided in another the gift given to him by the glorious Sun. But was concerned about the possible effect of the “Free Ap”.
He knew he was able to raise the numbers through training, but knew he could become almost monstrous if he allocated the Ap. If he did decide to spend it what would he use it on? His vitality was already massive with the multiplier of his title. He sat in quiet examination of his screen. He looked once more at the title enhancing his vitality.
The name of which made him flush with happy emotions.
He knew what he would do.
He went with his gut.

Levi was happy with the life he had built for himself. He had a stable job, decent lodgings, and every weekend he alternated between hiking and biking in the mountains outside of town to keep in shape. Captain Critiques: A Grumpy Pirate Review Book
(CURRENTLY OPEN)When it comes to reviews, I'm probably as harsh as the hellhole most story ideas crawl out of. I'm blunt, sarcasic, to the point and I know what I like in a story. As you can probably guess, you don't wanna take my advice if your like an overprotective mother about your story. Who am I kidding, EVERYONE is like that about their stories.But, if you could find the courage to pry the story out of your cold, crabby hands so I can give my brutally honest opinion then be my guest. Just don't try and start a fight once I provide it. You DON'T wanna fight a pirate. .................................. I reserve the right to decline stories as this will be taking up quite a bit of my time and if I say no, I mean NO. If your blurb is unreadable I will decline it. If it includes the genres mentioned in my 'Hell No' section then I will send it back where it came from.Do NOT critique the Captain.
