內容的にはまだ続きがありそうな終わり方なのですが、これは自分が”完結しても物語は続いていく世界”という雰囲気が好きだからです。

Although the ending seems to imply more to the story, that’s because I wanted “the world continues even if the story concludes” type of atmosphere.

映畫でもエンディング後に何やら続編があるような、ないような場面が描寫されて唐突に終わる──ああいうのが好きなのですが、共感してくれる方はいらっしゃるでしょうかね？ｗ

There are movies that seem to be setting up a sequel only to end on an abrupt note…… I like those kinds of things, but is there anyone out there that sympathize with me? w

ＷＥＢ本編は完結ですが、書籍の方ではもう少しだけ後日談的な書き下ろしが書けないかと、擔當さんと相談中ですので、もしⅨ巻が出るような時には宜しくお願い致します。

The main story of the WEB version is finished, I don’t know if I’ll write a sequel like series, I’m consulting with the people in change, so if there’s a volume IX I hope you’ll support you.

さて、この「骸骨騎士様」の物語ですが、実はこの「小説家になろう」で小説を書くにあたって、小説を書く練習用の為に書き始めたのがきっかけでした。

By the way, 「Skeleton Knight」was only meant to be a practice novel when I decided 「Let’s become a novelist」 .

もともと小説などを書いた事がなかったので「小説家になろう」でまず書こうと思った物語の前に、まずは練習として単行本一冊分にまとめた話と、全體を通して１００萬文字程度で完結するような物語を組み立て、できたのがこの「骸骨騎士様」でした。

Before 「Let’s become a novelist」crossed my mind, I hadn’t written a novel before, at first, I expected the story to end after the first volume, but the story ended up being around one million characters long.

當時の日刊などで受けていた要素に自分の好きなテイストを混ぜ合わせた物語＋練習という事で登場人物を絞ったりなど試行錯誤したのですが、投稿から初めの１０日程はジリジリとブックマークが伸びて、もうすぐ１００件のブックマークが付くな「ヤッター」という所でいきなり數字が跳ね上がった事を覚えています。

It was a trial and error exercise as I narrowed down the characters and added my personal favorite story elements while releasing chapters daily, the bookmarks and cheers started to grow after ten days. I remembered going “yatta” when I reached 100 bookmarks.

そしてあれよという內にこの物語が書籍化される事になったのは、まぁ今でもちょっと信じられない出來事であったなと……( ゜Д゜)

I still can’t believe that the story I wrote has now been made into an actual book ( ゜Д゜)

しかし、皆様の応援のおかげもありまして、この物語はコミカライズまでされ、今では累計３０萬部を超えるシリーズとなりました。

However, thanks to everyone support, the story had been turned into a manga and the series has sold more than 300,000 copies.

まさか自分が作りだした物語が、書店で累計〇〇萬部とかいう文句で売り出されるようになるとは、３年前には思いもしなかったです。Σ(・ω・ノ)ノ

Three years ago I never expected that a story I wrote would even sell 100,000 copies at bookstores. Σ(・ω・ノ)ノ

コミックスの方は引き続き連載されていくと思いますので、これからも「骸骨騎士様」の物語を応援して頂ければと思います。

そして新作の方ですが、第一部が出來上がってから投稿を開始しようと思っていますので、もし宜しければまた秤猿鬼の物語を見に來て頂けますと幸いです。

As for my new series, I’m planning to start posting it after I finish the first volume, and I hope you come and read another of Hakari Enki’s story.

基本的に自分は主人公が格好いい物語が好きなので、骸骨騎士様の物語を気に入って下さった方なら、新作の方も気に入って頂けるかと思っています。

Basically, I think that the hero of the story is cool, so if you liked Skeleton Knight, I think you’ll like the new one.
