《My wolf friend- Rannett fanfic(AU)》Chapter 14-More than friends?

"Who would've thought that an unlucky adventurer with no members on his team could get the legendary sword everyone fails to get! Wait a minute, where's my one thousand mora?" Asked an adventurer, with an outstretched palm, asking for the mora. "It was a joke, Andy, it was unexpected, okay?" The adventurer replied rudely.
As the two boys walked further from the crowd, the whispers faded, turning into birds chirping merrily. Turning around to see if they are far away from the crowd, which they are, Bennett turned around and hugged the boy tightly who just turned into a human. Swaying from side to side, the green-eyed was chanting, "We did it! We did it!" Emotionally with tears of happiness. "Man, I'm getting emotional now," he said, wiping his tears away. Inhaling the fresh air, the adventurer decided to rest under a tree that is near the city for the night.
Little did Bennett know that he got famous in one night. The next morning, he had to leave his partner waiting outside of the city for him as he felt uncomfortable entering Monstadt city.
There were many adventurers, even people outside Mondstadt waiting for him at Katheryne's desk, even Katheryne, herself, was surprised there were this many adventurers. As the famous unlucky adventurer went there, they instantly crowded around him, eagerly asking questions.
Some questions were about how he achieved this, others were about whether they can join his adventure team, but Bennett denied, why? You will get to know that later in the story. Of course, they are also some jealous ones asking for the sword in exchange for hefty mora, but the unlucky adventurer said that he will not sell the sword no matter what the costs are.
This whole "interview" has been going on for three days, approximately three to five hours of questioning and answering.

"Hello, young man, are you the famous adventurer who claimed the legendary sword?" Asked a man who looked like he was in his early thirties that is a scientist from Sumeru approached the unlucky adventurer. "Yes, indeed, what do you want?" The lad replied.
"Will you be willing to give me the legendary sword?"
"My answer is no."
"In exchange for—"
"No, I'm sorry."
"Don't you want your bad luck to go away?"
Bennett widened his eyes. "I have a perfect potion for that, but only if you give the sword," the scientist demanded.
"Actually..." the boy trailed off.
The scientist rubbed his palms against each other.
"No, I kind of like my bad luck now!" Exclaimed the unlucky adventurer. "What? But society will accept you more, am I wrong?" The man said with frustration.
"You're planning to trick me, plus, I like my bad luck as it spices up the adventures that I have, and it can different shade those who are true and those who are not. Also, I don't think my partner, the one who controls the sword, will be very happy after hearing this, maybe I should call him to settle this," Bennett said in a serious tone, but jokingly. Terrified of getting attacked by his wolf, he ran off quickly, which made the boy have a good laugh.
Returning to the huge tree at Windrise, where Razor will wait for his partner to come back from answering the questions from the curious ones in his human form. "Hey Razor!" Bennett waved at him. But today, he seemed aloof.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Asked the green-eyed boy. The aloof one ignored him. "C'mon...can you at least tell me what made you mad?" The unlucky boy said, sadness written all over his face. Seeing that, Razor felt sad too. "Bennett, talking with other adventurers, no time to spend with me, Razor sad..." trailed the red-eyes boy shyly. Bennett giggled before saying, "You're mistaken Razor! I even denied the adventurers from joining my adventurer team for you!" "For...me?" Questioned the grey-haired boy as he felt better.

"Yes! I thought you might be uncomfortable interacting with them, so I did it, I hope that makes you feel better!" Bennett said.
There was silence.
"I like you," it came from Razor.
There was silence between the two boys again.
"What..?" A faint voice came from Bennett.
"I like you, purple teacher told me love few moons ago, Razor thought about it, I want to be more than friends...I want us to be....boyfriends," the red-eyed boy said, a few bricks shy. The adventurer blushed. "Do you like me back?" Razor asked. "I..do Razor! Actually, I fell in love with you ever since I saw you human form hehe..." said the flushed adventurer.
"Boyfriends...?" The red-eyes boy asked.
"Boyfriends!" The white-haired boy exclaimed.
Razor leaned over to Bennett who slightly retreated back. Placing his hands over the adventurer, with his finger gently placed onto the green-eyed boy's lower lip, he said, "Can I?" The adventurer nodded slowly in reply. As close as ever, the grey-haired boy kissed Bennett under the evening sun. His lips are so soft... thought the unlucky adventurer.
Retreating back after the kiss, Razor placed his hand over his mouth, blushing slightly while avoiding eye contact with the one he kissed. Bennett, on the other hand, was touching his lips lightly. "Razor's sorr—" the red-eyed boy was about to speak but got interrupted by his partner's lips against his as they kissed again. Giggling nervously, Bennett sighed as he laid down on the green grass and smiled so hard he felt like his cheeks may burst. Glancing at his boyfriend who lay down beside him, they chatted about their future plans, on how they will travel to Liyue since they have fully explored Monstadt, maybe go on dates and celebrate Valentine's Day.
As it was dusk, infinite stars were revealed in the night sky. The two boys star gazed for a while before Bennett yawn said, "I'm tired, let's end the day here!"
"You can sleep on my lap, I go watch the moon," Said the grey-haired wolf. As the boy lay down on his lap, he instantly fell asleep soundly. Gazing upon the full moon that could not be seen properly due to the leaves on the tree blocking his sight, Razor smiled to himself as he stroked his boyfriend's messy hair.
As the leaves and bushes rustled in the mildly windy, chilly night, as the sounds coming from crickets could be heard, as the bonfire lit up the dark atmosphere around them, though a simple night, this night is truly meaningful to both boys under the humongous tree in Windrise.
