They have arrived at the Forrest!
Kanao: "ahh! The greenery is beautiful..."
Tanjiro: "isn't it?"
Y/n was in awe at the gorgeousness. She was so exited to explore!
they start walking down the pathway...
Aoi: "hm?...You guys, stick together the pathway stops here. *sigh* why didn't they keep it..."
Zenitsu: "AH I can get lost and die!!!!"
Zenitsu grabs nezuko's body and whines
Nezuko: "it's gonna be alright, zenitsu!" She giggles.
Zenitsu: "ah- yes!"
Y/n wasn't paying very much attention. She was looking at the flowers on the side of the trail...
POV of Y/n
Wow...look at those leaves! we walked for a few minutes, and I enjoyed the peacefulness. The fresh air was also nice. wait...are those the flowers that I wanted to pick?! I gasp and run over to them. I pick 8 flowers, one for everybody! They will love these flowers!
Y/n: "you all! Look at these flowers-"
huh??? Where did they all go?!
I look around in fear... did they leave without me?! I only took a few minutes...they're completely out of sight! there is no path ether...what do I do? Oh! Right my IPhone!.
I take my phone out of my pocket, and turn it on. I call Tanjiro, but.... there's no connection?!?! Oh shoot! how am I supposed to contact them? Maybe they will come back for me? How long are they gonna take to notice I'm gone?...I wasn't talking at all and I was behind everyone too. Oh no I really messed up this time...I could've at least told them to wait...
POV of Narrator
Y/n was getting anxious, and started to panic. She tried to look for where the entrance was but got even more lost. She was embarrassed and disappointed in her direction skills. She tried calling Muichiro...Kanao...Aoi...Nezuko....Tanjiro...Inosuke, and Zenitsu. But she got the same answer each time.

At this point Y/n had gotten desperate. She had rushed around trying to find any of her dear friends. she was scared. She sat down on a rock to take a break. She looks at her phone to check the time. When they arrived at the entrance of the Forrest it was 2:00, currently it was 3:58.
POV of Muichiro.
I had my earphones on...I blocked out the noise but, I made sure I could still hear just in case something happens. The whole time...I didn't hear Y/n say anything. I turn in my head the way she was walking.
POV of Narrator
Muichiro felt his heart skip a beat. He didn't like the feeling at all.
Muichiro: "hey, where is Y/n?." He takes out his earphones and stops walking. His voice having a hint of seriousness in it.
Kanao turns around to see if Y/n was there, and her eyes widened.
Kanao: "Y/n!? Search for her! She didn't say anything about going anywhere!" She was worried for her. Was the h/c girl okay?
They hollered her name.
"Y/n! Y/n!"
They all tried calling her. And of course, no internet. They stuck together knowing it could lead to losing more people if they split up.
they all worried so so much, fearing that Y/n could be missing, but Muichiro was the most worried out of all of them. He had enough when the clock hit six.
POV of Muichiro
no. This isn't helping... I need to split up from the group.
Muichiro: "I'm going the other direction."
Tanjiro: "Muichiro!? It's dangerous! The sun is setting too! I think it would be best to stay with us..."
even if it is dangerous, Y/n's life is possibly on the edge.
Muichiro: "I'll be fine..."

After I reassure Tanjiro, I run off.
POV of Y/n
The sun has set...are the others okay? Will I be okay? I could feel the tears coming down my cheeks. I hide my face in my arms. I'm not gonna die right??? hmm?...water dripping down on my back...rain?! I have such bad luck...no no no... I'm under a tree but my hair and clothing are getting soaked...
POV of Narrator
*achoo* Y/n sneezes. She sniffs and wipes her tears away.
"I'm being such a baby about this situation...but I can help crying..." she thought to herself. someone had put their hand on her head, and rested her head on their shoulder. Her eyes widened.
"You'll get sick..."
They put a jacket on her.
it was muichiro.
Y/n couldn't hold in her tears and started to cry. Muichiro on the other hand, puts his hand around her shoulder and puts his head on hers, as a sign of comfort. " you really are stupid, you know." He says not making an expression, and with no tone. Y/n knew he didn't mean to be rude, but he was showing her that he was worried sick. she flushed with embarrassment, but was still teary. Muichiro grabs her hand. "Hey, from now on, I'll hold your hand so you won't get lost again, okay?..." he informs her as he slightly turns his head towards her. Y/n simply nods, and grabs his hand back.

Milton
A Cyberpunk Coming of Age Tale The Apocalypse is ugly. The only lights that work are battery powered or neon. Scroungers kill your neighbors and take control of their bodies. Gang wars run rampant in the perpetual night, as usual, except now, most members have magical spells to defend their turf. Life certainly changed once the Rainbow Letters came. For Milton, things changed for the better. The world became familiar. He could find loot, learn skills, and equip weapons and armor. It was all much easier to understand than the perils of pre-Apocalypse life with its grocery shopping and going outside. Then he discovers Ragnarok, Orchestrator of the Rainbow Letters and all of Milton’s problems. The race to figure out why is on. If Milton is to survive long enough to find answers, he must first be strong enough to confront his worst enemy: himself. * This is work in progress and NOT professionally edited. * ** This story is humorous in the begining, but gets very dark around the turning point. Reader discretion is advised.**

The Discarded
The Umbrae Lunae existed before man, beautiful abominations birthed in the nightmares of mad gods. They wait for humanity to misstep, for the angels to look away. For the moment when they can cloak the world in moon shadows once again. But even horrors have children. Even nightmares must feed. One child, unlike the others, finds his way to a school for young abominations. Will he be a sheep cast before the wolves, or a terror that wears the skin of wool to entice the wolf close? The flesh of his body was his only coin, strips cut to pay debts that never ended. Everyone has scars, stories in a life led, lessons learned, and licks taken. Luminous bodies touched by darkness. There are a cursed few that are the opposite, black shadows consumed by scars, twisted minds devoured by diseased hungers, bodies tortured misshapen works of gouged flesh, silver lines of blade thin cuts, ragged tears of teeth and glass. For them, the scars are marks of homecoming, the mangled wasteland the only place they feel at peace. Hell is a place. It's made of concrete, steel and glass. It's the sounds of starving kids crying themselves to sleep, huddling into small balls as creepers come and take their due of innocence and tender meat. It's eating rotten food and carrying ticks in your hair. It’s having no one and nothing while surrounded by everything. It's the life of a street kid. What abomination was birthed in the corrupt womb of man’s cast-off shit? Pretty people don't know the power of ugly. They can't see the strength in a broken soul or the power in a calloused heart. Those secrets are for the discarded alone. Only the broken understand the grace of darkness. The blessed folds that hide scars and tears, the protection of its concealing umbra. Mark of the Lash
Born from a precarious relationship between a Drow and his prize, Serena Lash struggles to find her place, and herself, as she fights to persevere through the hardships life throws her way. A story born from a D&D game I am currently a part of. The narrative will follow the events of the campaign as closely as possible, with some events having been tweaked to better fit into a written story. A slow burn, the narrative does skip around a bit due to the nature of the campaign, considering that not everything in the game needs to be written about. This will begin to peter out the further the story progresses, but for the first parts, expect a bit of skipping!
