Annes POV:
"Of course I'm okay! Your here!" I say staring into Marcys eyes
"I wouldn't say the Same you where just shivering and you have branches growing of you..." Marcy said while trying to inspect my arms "Branches? Oo cool!" I say
"So uh Anne what did you see in your dream?" Marcy asked
I went pale... I pulled Marcy into a hug "you- you left me... you called me names and it hurt... but its fine because it wasn't real!"
Marcys POV:
What Anne said shattered me. I called her names like what? But it must of been because Anne started to cry at the mention of the dream. Eventually she calmed down but she just wouldn't stop staring at me and she just wouldn't let go of my arm unless I told her too.
"Hey Anne want to go somewhere?" I ask
"I'll do whatever you want!" Anne said
"Oh... okay..." I replyed
To be honest it hurt having your crush like you exept she was under an extremely dangerous love potion.
I took Annes hand and it was painfull it was like a bunch of needles Was digging into my hand, but I ignored it.
"Heyyy Marmar~" Anne said in a odd tone...
"Oh frog it's getting worse." I thought as I looked at annes shining pink eyes.
"Anne... let's go to Maddie... your getting worse." I say
"Maddie... Maddie? Who's she? Will she take you from me?
Anne said.
My eyes widened as she said that... she just forgot Maddie?
"Okay uh Sprig?" I say confident she knows Sprig
"What about Sasha?" I say
The only person she remembers is me...
"Hey love ~ you've been the only thing I can think about recently. And now I just can't seem to take my eyes off you..." Anne said

"Huh?!" I say
Anne started to walk towards me
"You know Marce I always wanted to do this ever since we where kids and I think I finally can!" Anne said
while stopping to grab my hand and then put her free hand on my cheek, but it wasn't soft like usual it was hard and cold, so I naturally drifted my eyes over to her hands... or what her hands. They where claws that was made of wood. Yet I still didn't dare to move her hands I just wondered when and how they grew on her hands. Eventually I went to far into my thoughts I didn't notice Anne slowly lean in. When I snapped out of it I saw we where inches away and that turned me into a blushing mess I knew exactly was was to happen next, but i didn't think it was the time for it.
I knew there was no way out of the situation, so I put my free hand on Annes neck and Anne filled the space between us.
The kiss was sweet...ish? and then we hear
"OH MY FROG?! ANNE AND MARCY ARE DATING?!" A pink frog shouted after seeing our kiss near the tree.
"S-Sprig! It's nothing like what it looks like!" I say flustered and dased after the kiss.
"ARE YOU AND ANNE DATING?!" Sprig shouted.
Ps Marcy didn't want to actually kiss Anne at this particular moment as Anne is not at all in the state of mind to consent to this. She was too distracted by calmong Sprig down then to comfront Anne. She does love Anne she just didn't want to kiss anne because of her potion and she didn't want to take adavantage of that :)

Waking Up
The story of Larin the Builder in the aftermath of Awakening This short story is the epilogue of Awakening, the first book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. This epilogue is a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers between books without being necessary to the main storyline.Waking Up follows the story of Larin, who is alive but unconscious after her ordeal in the Nine Hells. She awakens in A'lara City a few days later and recuperates under the steadfast care of her repentant friend Jorn.As she reacclimates to her waking state, Larin struggles with her gruesome memories of the Hells and her decision to conceal them from Jorn. This story answers the question, Is Larin all right? with a resounding yes, and some storms on the horizon. It also raises the question, What happened to her down there? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Falling Down, about Larin's ordeal in the Nine Hells. Praise for Waking Up and Falling Down: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between Waking Up and Falling Down is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well.-- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

The Fate Eater
What might a man really do if he found himself reincarnated into a fantasy world as a dragon prince? How would he come to terms with his new nature, his larger-than-life family, the agendas of warring factions, and the destiny he never asked for? This is a story that intends to defy some isekai tropes, but play into others. It's mainly about exploring a rich hand-crafted world, full of its own history and mysteries. Its characters have their own lives and aspirations, and our protagonist is but a piece of the greater tapestry. This story is not about right and wrong, or good and evil. It's about a dragon-man being tested by fate, power, and time. It's about what it's like to live as an outsider who lost their home. But perhaps the most central theme is freedom. What does freedom really mean? What will it cost and how much might one be willing to pay for it? Does it even truly exist? Let's find out together.
