《Runaway (Dipcifica)》Chapter 1: Walk Away

Not alot has changed since Dipper and Mabel's first summer in Gravity Falls last year. Alot of people moved into the town, finally marking it onto the map, and the Northwest, surprise surprise, got their fortune back after Preston Northwest sold off the Family Mudflap Company and purchased a brand of Organic Juice Drinks, which surprisingly made a huge turn out.

But one of the Northwest isn't happy and that is the youngest member, 13 year old Pacifica Elise Northwest.

Even after the crazy events last summer, she is still being her father's whipping post, and still treated like a pile of garbage for not acting at the highest of standards. She feels more like a slave than a daughter.

But Pacifica is even more sad today because of what happened early between her and her father.

Earlier that day:

"Pacifica to help make this deal with HirschCo I need your involvement," said Preston.

"What is it?" Pacifica asked, "Model there products? Get stock from them?"

"Oh no, you have to marry their son, Ronald," said Preston.

"Wait what? But I'm 13, I'm practically still a child," said Pacifica.

"Well both our families are very rich," said Preston, "Basically we can buy our ways out of any laws."

"But dad.."

Pacifica is then interrupted by Preston's bell, Pacifica covers her ears.

"Do as I say, we have a reputation to uphold whether you like it or not," said Preston.

Just then Pacifica snaps.

"No," said Pacifica.

Pacifica snatches the bell, throws it onto the ground, and starts stomping on it.

"Go to your room right now young lady," said Preston, "You are grounded for life."

Pacifica then storms off to her room.

"Priscilla I think its about time we have another child, a boy perhaps," said Preston.

Back to present time:

Pacifica is seen lying on her bed crying.

"I hate my family, they are all a bunch of jerks," said Pacifica, "I thought after what happened last year we wouldn't live in a large house, or still be a part of this high society crap."

(/ Pacifica Singing below)

I guess I should've known better

To believe I'm a lucky chain, oh

I lent my heart out forever

And finally learned each other's names

Pacifica then gets off her bed.

I tell myself, this time it's different

No goodbyes, cause eyes can't bear to see it

I'll never survive on one that's coming

If I stay, ooh no!

Pacifica grabs a suit case.

Just walk away! Oh, and don't look back

Cause if my heart breaks, it's gonna hurt so bad

You know I'm strong, but I can't take that

Before It's too late, oh, just walk away!

She starts filling the suitcase with her clothes.

Ooh, just walk away!

(Walk, walk, walk away)

Aye aye, aye yeah

I really wish I could blame you

But I know that it's no one's fault

No, no, no, no

A Cinderella with no shoe

And a Prince that doesn't know he's lost

Pacifica then takes some old jackets and turn them into a rope.

He says that her face is so familiar

Each goodbye with just the same old song

But this time I will not surrender!

'Cause I'm gone, ooh, yeah!

Just walk away! Ooh, and don't look back

Cause if my heart breaks, It's gonna hurt so bad

You know I'm strong, but I can't take that

Before It's too late, oh, just walk away!

Pacifica throws the rope out the window and escapes.

Oh, just walk away!

(Walk, walk, walk away)

Oh, just walk away!

Pacifica goes over the mansion fence.

I've got to let it go, ooh

Start protecting my heart and soul

Cause I don't think I'll survive a goodbye again

Not again!

Pacifica stands in an open field.

Just walk away! Oh, and don't look back

Cause if my heart breaks, it's gonna hurt so bad

You know I'm strong, but I can't take that

Before it's too late, before It's too late!

Oh, just walk away!

Walk away, walk away, yeah!

(Walk, walk, walk away!)

Walk away, walk away, all right

(Walk away, walk, walk away)

Walk away, walk away

(Walk, walk, walk away!)

Walk away, walk away, oh, ooh

Meanwhile at the mansion.

Preston knocks on Pacifica's bedroom door.

"Pacifica Darling, are you ready to marry the Hirsch boy?" Preston asked.

Preston gets no answer.

Preston opens the door to see and open window with a rope sticking out and a note on her desk.

Preston reads the note, "Goodbye Forever- Pacifica

P.S. Do whatever you want to my credit cards, I got $100,000 in cash on me."

Preston crushes the note.

"She thinks she can be free like a damn hippy? Not on my watch," said Preston.
